Would you rather

Submitted by TK on November 20th, 2018 at 7:05 PM

I’m sorry. This is the longest week ever. Can’t stop thinking about this game.

With that being said, here’s a stupid would you rather question that will surely illicit some snarky responses but I want to ask anyway.

Would you rather be behind by 2 lining up a 40 yard fg on the last play or ahead by 5 on the last play with OSU 2 yards away from the winning score?

Sorry to steal this thread. I don't have enough points. Just came across this gem. Amazing to see our boys grow not only on the field over the Fall, but also in their experience abroad. If you have seen All Or Nothing, it was a great documentary, but disappointing in the way we performed. Please take this time to reflect on where we came from only a few months ago.

Also, your question makes me physically ill. I would probably black out and hope for the best in either situation. Knowing their history with short goal line plays, that's dangerous. But Moody is a stud. But our defense is solid. But let's just win by 2+ possessions.

For Sure! I couldn't watch in either situation.

However, with our offense right now, I'd rather switch roles so that WE had the ball down 5 on the two yard line!!

(Actually, so I can really enjoy the game, I'd need to be up 2+ scores by the 4th) I think I'd sell my kidney to duplicate the Penn State game (Fuck Penn State!)

Good evening. Tonight 'Spectrum' looks at one of the major problems in the world today - the whole vexed question of what is going on. Is there still time to confront it, let alone solve it, or is it too late?

I'm leaning the field goal, solely based on the likelihood of OSU fumbling the ball at the one, or being stopped short, and still being awarded a TD by the BiG officiating crew - while it has been done before, harder to job a team on a kick!

I dont know, dude. You cant tell me that Darryl Hall nailing a 40 yarder as the clock expires to beat OSU at their place, sending the good guys to the CFP for a shot at #1 Bama, wouldnt be one for the ages. Furthermore, a postgame Hall and Oates rendition of "The Victors" in the lockerroom would shut down the interwebs for at least a few days. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it, and as such, would actually choose this being a close game if this were exactly how the story would unfold.

Man, the Game cannot come fast enough.   Or failing that, the UFRs and FFFFs so we have some actual football analysis to go with.

And in answer to the OP question, I'd rather be up by 35 with OSU lining up for a sad field goal.

I give the OP credit for a pick your poison gem. That said, my head hurts even thinking about either option. I am going to focus on Turkey, Pumpkin Pie and a 17 point lead with 57 seconds left and Shea in victory formation.
