My daughter also knew she wanted to be a lawyer from her early high school years. She was laser focused and took classes and did volunteer work that would enhance her chances. If I remember, she finish HS with a 3.85 gpa, undergrad with a 3.9 gpa and end up top 5% in her graduating class. She worked for 10 years as a prosecutor then opened a law firm with her husband who also was a former prosecutor. From everything I have seen, she really enjoys her line of work!
I also have a good friend who got an civil engineering degree from Michigan. He got a law degree from WSU and worked as an automotive engineer. Even though he had the law degree, he never sat for the bar. Decided that the law wasn't for him but he had a GREAT backup plan with the Michigan Engineering degree. He was able to retire in his early 50's as well!
Leaving FSU out of the CFP because their starting quarterback is injured reminds me of the 1973 decision to have Oh How I Hate go to the Rose Bowl after Dennis Franklin broke his collar bone in the 10-10 tie.
I have dogs and I am not sure what the handler was hoping to accomplish by picking him up. Just let him finish and avoid a trail of poop vs a single pile.
On second though a trail of poop on a Louisville Basketball court would be even better!
Watch the final minute of the game, the WSU receiver, #82, caught the ball (after mugging Charles Woodson)! The ref pulled the flag out of his pocket, didn't throw it, and then waived the play dead still with the flag in his left hand.
Then #82 ends up injured on the field. He is attended to and finally has 2 people help him off the field, even though when the play ended he was tackled into his own sideline. The play was out of bounds, so the clock stopped anyway but is does give WSU extra time to reset their offense and come up with a play.
And guess who made a miraculous recovery to get back in for the final aborted play, on the far side of the field from their sidelines. Yep, #82.
Thanks for the picture of Big Nut!! I was hoping that someone would get a shot or 2 of him!! The best part of your photo though was from the angle you shot it, it looks like his glasses say Pig Nut!!
We won 22-0. The thing that made it memorable was the fake extra point attempt after the 2nd touchdown. The holder ran it in for the two point conversion making the score 15-0 which felt like a insurmountable lead!!
WTP has played 6 games so far this year. They have been shut out 5 times and scored 6 points in the only game they scored. That means they are averaging 1 point per game...
That's a long way from Michigan's point a minute teams!!

Moving Mullings from linebacker to running back will never work! Look at what happened to Hassan Haskins when they tried to do that.
