01/23/2019 - 12:14pm I don’t believe you…

I don’t believe you mentioned it so I’ll be the first to ask, what is Catapult's most important output and in what dimensions does it track movement?

12/24/2018 - 3:37pm No, they got caught taking a…

No, they got caught taking a SARM.  While it is possible they were taking it on purpose, it is more likely that they didn't even know they were taking it when taking a supplement (a lot of times small amount of things of substances like this are added to the supplement and not listed in the ingredient list). It still is their fault for taking something not given to them by the school or not having the school test it, but it isn't like they were juicing up to a crazy degree.

12/16/2018 - 6:26pm Think about in years past…

Think about in years past how people enrolled early but signing day hadn't occurred yet. If Classes started January 8th, but signing day was early February, then they enrolled early but hadn't technically signed a LOI because it wasn't allowed yet. Signing a LOI also doesn't really mean anything except locking you in, and if you have enrolled early and are playing for the team then you are locked in anyway at that school.

12/16/2018 - 1:25pm I know you are just joking…

I know you are just joking and all, but students don't eat much more from concessions than an empty seat. I know when I was in school my friends and I would pretty much never buy anything at the concessions, too damn expensive for us at the time.

12/08/2018 - 6:36pm They didn’t really play…

They didn’t really play anyone though at the beginning in 13. That year was exciting at the beginning but not this exciting since we actually have played some damn good teams this year.

12/07/2018 - 5:45pm When mattison retires, sure…

When mattison retires, sure. Until then, hell no. Granted he is a good d line coach, but we have mattison right now who is just better.

12/01/2018 - 9:50pm I really don’t get how we…

I really don’t get how we aren’t 1 or 2 in these algorithmic rankings.

11/27/2018 - 4:04pm The long answer is no, there…

The long answer is no, there are a lot more factors that others have delved into at length already. The short answer, yes. Our pass rush was shit which affected everything on defense.

11/26/2018 - 7:21pm I'm not going to say our…

I'm not going to say our offense lit the place on fire, but the gameplan was fine on that side even though people are going to complain a lot regarding it. If you told me we score 39 points I would have said we win for sure.  This game was all on the defense. We were supposed to have one of the best defenses in the country(and I still believe they are), but the best defenses don't get 62 points scored on them.

11/26/2018 - 4:01pm Thanks for everything Rashan…

Thanks for everything Rashan. It was a great 3 years, hopefully you go on to have a very successful pro career. I can't blame him at all for going, this is the smart decision for him but I always do hold out hope even for surefire 1st rounders that they will come back like Lewan did.

11/22/2018 - 10:30am Do they rank women’s…

Do they rank women’s basketball recruits? Roughly what type of recruit is she compared to a typical men’s ranking.

11/21/2018 - 8:01pm As long as he applies and…

As long as he applies, gets accepted, and sets up a umich account (which I’m sure all have happened,  even if he goes to OSU) doesn’t he show up on the student directory? So this would mean not much.

11/21/2018 - 2:30pm I'll be honest, I'm pretty…

I'll be honest, I'm pretty scared of the quick slants or short throws that will go off for long plays. We have been really good up until now stopping them after the catch, but OSU's wr's are quite a bit more talented in terms of getting YAC. I think as long as we can stop them from picking up YAC on those short throws like we have all season, then the game is ours.

11/20/2018 - 7:15pm This will end well.

This will end well.

11/20/2018 - 2:18pm Isaac also had issues with…

Isaac also had issues with fumbles. While last year it may not have been as bad as previous years, it still was there and happened at bad unfortunate times like against MSU. I was always a bit worried when he was carrying the ball, and I’m sure Harbaugh was too which decreased the carries he got.

11/20/2018 - 1:59pm To be fair to you, I think…

To be fair to you, I think Rb is a really hard position to predict how well they will do consistently, and that carries over to the NFL as well.

11/20/2018 - 11:05am Well this is certainly…

Well this is certainly something I won’t be reading.

11/19/2018 - 12:53pm I think if Villanova would…

I think if Villanova would have come out and just wrecked furman we would have been even a little higher. Unfortunately they lost, which capped our upwards mobility based on that game. There are a few teams that I think are tier 1 right now (duke leading that group), but I think we are firmly in tier 2 atm. Beilein teams always improve drastically over the season too so I am pretty damn excited to see how this season goes.

11/19/2018 - 11:56am He has been releasing them a…

He has been releasing them a day before or even the day of in the morning. I would guess it will likely come on Friday this week.

11/11/2018 - 12:54pm Maybe we can get one hell of…

Maybe we can get one hell of an analyst for a year while he decides where he wants to coach next? Unlikely since he'll be scooped up quickly, but you never know.

11/08/2018 - 10:43pm Realistically it is the best…

Realistically it is the best defensive class in Michigan history.

11/08/2018 - 6:54pm He was a miserable OC that…

He was a miserable OC that got the position because of the Peter principle. I think he would be a pretty bad HC too. He is one hell of a line coach though and I hope we can retain him.

11/08/2018 - 8:42am FSU is terrible this year…

FSU is terrible this year. They could win with just about anyone at qb. However, if he’s out for the Syracuse game too then that game could be a lot more interesting.

11/08/2018 - 8:16am I’m not sure I’ve ever seen…

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen wolverine devotee corrected when it comes to accuracy of something involving jerseys/brand/gear. I have to applaud you and your knowledge since he seems to know just about everything in that regard.

11/06/2018 - 3:03pm I love Ben mason jumping as…

I love Ben mason jumping as high as he can in the middle of everyone in the psu one.

11/06/2018 - 12:46pm The author never stated it…

The author never stated it was causation and never appears to even imply it.

11/06/2018 - 10:02am My favorite part was that he…

My favorite part was that he said our secondary is outmatched by their wr’s.

11/04/2018 - 3:56pm Better Clemson than Bama.

Better Clemson than Bama.

11/03/2018 - 9:44pm We need the WD signal.

We need the WD signal.

11/03/2018 - 9:40pm Helmet to helmet contact…

Helmet to helmet contact doesn’t matter. Read the actual rule. It was technically targeting how the rule is written. I hate how the rule is written and think it should be re-written, but that was by the book targeting how it’s written now.

“No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI)

Note 1: "Targeting" means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to:

  • Launch—a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area
  • A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground
  • Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area
  • Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet”
11/02/2018 - 11:51pm He’s gone. Accept it.

He’s gone. Accept it.

11/01/2018 - 11:57pm He didn't imply that, he…

He didn't imply that, he directly said it.

10/31/2018 - 2:09pm He is a HS teenager that has…

He is a HS teenager that has a life outside of football too. This tweet could be about football and where he ends up, but it is just as likely to be about a girl he is into. I wouldn't read too much into tweets in regards to teenagers.

10/31/2018 - 7:13am Finally! This is honestly…

Finally! This is honestly great news.

10/25/2018 - 12:04pm This especially doesn't…

This especially doesn't matter because it will all work itself out this weekend. They play bama still and we still play osu and PSU. If they beat bama this week they will have earned the right to be ahead of us, if they lose to bama they will drop below us.

10/24/2018 - 11:06am Truly night and day from…

Truly night and day from last year. I do agree he needs to launch it up deep to a tall receiver on 3rd and long about once a game more, but at this point I’m nit picking. Shea has been exactly what we need this year.

10/24/2018 - 9:13am I hope he heals quickly, and…

I hope he heals quickly, and I hate that his mom feels the need to do this because so many people have said things(to clarify- I don’t hate that she says it, but the circumstances that caused the need for this to be said). It actually makes me sad that she feels like she has to defend him because of what a lot of the media and fans have said.  Go blue and go Rashan! We have been lucky to have a player like him on our defense even if he isn’t able to play for us again.

10/22/2018 - 1:08pm Fuck yes. Finally not some…

Fuck yes. Finally not some apologetic “I’m sorry” bullshit. Hoke is a great guy, but it irritated me how apologetic he was about everything. Harbaugh will say what he thinks and won’t back down on that. I love to see that.

10/20/2018 - 8:31am I googled your name last…

I googled your name last night and saw you hadn’t put anything out for this game and got disappointed. Glad to see one released! Great stuff as always!

Hardaway has really cleaned up his shooting mechanics. Looking good.

10/05/2018 - 10:06am I think he legitimately…

I think he legitimately could find a niche in the nba.  Hope he plays well and moves on up to the league.

Anyone have a clip of the play?

09/23/2018 - 11:08am This is the best I have felt…

This is the best I have felt about the qb position and its future since Henne was starting with mallet backing him up as a freshman.

I think you jinxed the game OP.

09/10/2018 - 10:50pm The word coming out of…

The word coming out of summer and fall practice was that he earned his 3rd string role because of his ability to block. This clip goes to show those rumors may actually be pretty damn accurate.

09/09/2018 - 11:13am That hesitation move was…

That hesitation move was nasty. You normally don’t see that type of thing out of a big back like him, especially in HS.

09/04/2018 - 6:54pm She is big into policy, not…

She is big into policy, not politics. That is a huge difference.

09/01/2018 - 11:44pm He went back in and played…

He went back in and played after the intitial injury. He went back off again, but it really looked like cramps.

How much total a month was it including internet?

08/30/2018 - 8:06pm Good for him. I hope he does…

Good for him. I hope he does really well there. I always liked him, but he never seemed to recover from that nagging injury.
