On3 is almost unanimously considered the worst site lol. They clearly rate some players just to be non conformist and piss fans off. They have Dante Moore as the #46 player in the country when frankly he is in conversation for best QB in the class and it's absurd

I think Michigan is in a good spot with Davis. He'll be on campus for the 4th time for MSU and basically every other competitor for Davis has taken a highly ranked QB in 2022 or 2023 and Davis should be able to come in and start as an underclassman once JJ leaves

Seeing him play live, he has a nice touch and spiral on his passes, including deep throws. With that said, he can get easily flustered and flummoxed under pressure. It's just high school and I think there's hope he'll grow out of those issues but I didn't see a 5* can't miss QB. He does have the advantage of his lineage and I think that's helped his ranking.

I watched the ND-OSU game and really thought - after the first half - that ND was really on to something with Freeman and would be really good this year. Then of course the 2nd half happened and everything unraveled for ND - - and it's been unraveling ever since.

I read a draft report that if you look at a school's OL-DL combination, ND is in the top 5 in the country yet it seems at times that they get pushed around - and out of position - on both sides and that has to point to coaching

Shaw is a good coach that runs a solid program.  But recruiting caught up to him at Stanford.  Now, he won't light the world on fire anywhere because his offense isn't very dynamic, but he'll be a really good coach for a G5 team.  Honestly, I'd bet he could elevate some FBS team to compete with ND (NTND) and JMU.  Not win consistently over them, but compete.

Well everyone keeps putting them on top 2 or 3 because CJ Stroud passes the ball for 400 yards against bad teams and they hired a new DC who they think is going to be their savior. I don't think OSU has proven anything yet. If it wasn't clear before with ND's 2 losses, it must be clear now.

I agree to a point, but assuming that osu isn't anything less than what their eye test says they are is a mistake. No, they haven't proven anything quite yet, but I still think they're playing solid football. And I guarantee they are doing a lot of the same things we are by sitting on a lot of their playbook. Always assume they'll be at their best when they play us and we'll have the sufficient amount of respect for how dangerous they COULD be.

Edit: they're still a bunch of a-holes though
