Anddd I didn't say I agreed with EVERYTHING he says, just the general point.  Feel free to strawman your response though.

09/15/2018 - 4:51pm Bring back the down voting…

Bring back the down voting system because I am so disappoint in OP.

09/05/2018 - 2:46pm It worked in the universe of…

It worked in the universe of Stanford, where as others have echo'd, had a solid o-line.

Knowing what we know about our o-line however...

09/05/2018 - 11:42am Will probably catch alot of…

Will probably catch quite a bit of flak for this but I absolutely agree with Cowherd.  I'm not one of those people on this board that grow ire for him every time he gives an honest opinion about the trajectory of Harbaugh's record at Michigan.  I will support Harbaugh and I believe he can get things turned around but after year 4 and having an o-line that looks lost at times, it's still disheartening with all the talent that we actually have in other positions with that one group holding us back from greatness or a Big Ten title at the very least.

12/14/2017 - 12:10pm More importantly

More importantly than us having him, I would have liked ND to not have him.

04/27/2016 - 8:38pm Clipse

Clipse was my shit in college. Sadly, this information also dates me since I graduated in 2005...

04/10/2016 - 2:56pm Such a lame point of view

Such a lame point of view on Shaw's part.  Well, guys, it doesn't help Stanford so who cares about the kids getting opportunities to go to other schools. I did not expect that from him to be honest.  Of course I am slightly biased because its Harbaugh that made this a phenomenon but realistically, any coach with any sort of morals should be able to understand the exact thing Hill had stated if it is really about the kids and it SHOULD be about dem kids.

04/03/2016 - 7:00pm My hunch is

Kris Frost

02/18/2016 - 9:01pm I'd argue that back 2 back is better.. only because

A)  Meek Mill, who is supposed to be as street as they come, came after Drake out of nowhere unprovoked.

B)  Let's be honest, 2Pac and Big were close to equals as far as the rap game went.  When Drake fired back at Meek, Drake was the underdog. But when you come out with the line "You gettin bodied by a singin' n****.  I'm sorry, that's a 1 hit KO.  Made Meek look flat silly for coming after Drake and destroyed his cred entirely.  Everyone makes fun of Meek Mill now.  Meanwhile, everyone still respects Big and 2Pac equally.

No question though.. the Biggie/2PAC feud is >>>>>>>> Drake/Mill feud.

02/18/2016 - 8:07pm My point was that hit em up is not a good 2pac track.

My point was that hit em up is not a good 2pac track.  Yes, i get why you referenced it because it was a diss track aimed at Biggie.  However, it was painfully obvious you didn't grow up during that feud if you called that "great music".  To Live and Die in L.A. and California Love are way more fitting of that category. Either way, I am just busting your chops.

02/18/2016 - 7:44pm You weren't even alive when this came out...

Hence, you couldn't ever appreciate the Biggie vs 2pac feud.

02/03/2016 - 8:33pm Leave ND off the schedule

Leave ND off the schedule.  They need us more than we need them schedule wise.  Until they join a conference, and have to actually participate in an extra championship game, they are only hurting themselves by taking us off their schedule.  Hell, last year their schedule was pretty weak because all of the power teams they had scheduled (Texas, USC, etc.) weren't really ranked that high except for Clemson.

Why should we bend over backwards to renew that rivalry?  Plenty of teams we could schedule that would be more interesting out of conference IMO.

11/13/2015 - 9:14pm Denard by far

He may not have fit the prototypical qb mold but his character and playmaking excitement were above and beyond. He stayed and weathered the horrible years of Michigan football and provided arguably one of the best nd rivalry victories I've ever seen. Without him, the excitement of seeing if/when he would break off that big run...well I just don't know if I would have even tuned in to Michigan football during those dark years. Seriously.

10/24/2015 - 2:02pm Think of raw talent as clay

Think of raw talent as clay. In the hands of the untrained, it is a mess, unorganized, never to become anything worthwhile.

In the hands of an artist, however, it becomes a masterpiece. Same clay..different sculpter.

10/14/2015 - 12:28pm double post

edit: double post

10/14/2015 - 12:27pm try reading comprehension

Try reading comprehension.  the OP said "wolves" which is much different than "wolvs'".  I was just clarifying there is a huge grammatical difference.  Nice to know you've made it easy to identify yourself as one of the forum douches though.

10/14/2015 - 9:08am He meant Wolvs'

He meant Wolvs', as in short for wolverines.  Not actual Wolves.

While I agree that it was sort of odd I highly doubt Herbstreit meant any disrespect.  If anything, OSU has accused Herbie on many occasions that he didn't seem to be enough of a homer in their eyes.

09/28/2015 - 8:10am I suppose

I suppose you are correct, there were more than a handful of games where they did score fast.  That wasn't really my point.  My point was there are greater merits to a skilled defense and mediocre offense vs a mediocre defense and a high powered offense.

Basically our current Harbaugh team vs RRod's as I described.

09/28/2015 - 3:23am Offense is more exciting to watch. But..

Offense is more exciting to watch, ala the Denard era w/ RRod.  It was always exciting to see the team score in a minute or so but you saw what that did to our defense.  In that case, the combination of an inept GERG with a 3-3-5 and always having the defense on the field meant they were lackluster and so you watched a prevent-esque bend but don't break defense that didn't let any of our opponents score fast but also never really stopped our opposition from scoring.  You know, the type of games that created scoring shoot outs with Indiana for example.

Which brings me to my point that I think you are overlooking the merits of a great defense.  The ability to create turnovers ala interceptions and fumbles on your opponent's side of the field and giving your offense a chance to put points on the board in a vastly shorter field to drive to score.  Makes for great scoring odds. If you have only a good offense, and a crap defense, you don't get that and you have to hope that the offense can drive the entire length of the field and odds are.. they can't do that all game.

09/19/2015 - 2:51pm Hey guys...

Is Michigan's best play of the day, the power sweep?  I wasn't sure... they've only mentioned it about 5 times so far today.. I'm still unsure though.  Thoughts?

09/19/2015 - 2:42pm UHF

UHF, to be fair, did have Stanley Spadowski. That would probably make for ,at least, an entertaining commentary..

09/12/2015 - 10:47pm Don't

As someone who lives in South Bend, they are one of the most annoying and delusional fanbases in existence.  Their fans are insufferable.

05/07/2015 - 7:55pm I have Destiny PS4

EDIT:  Double Post probs

05/07/2015 - 7:54pm I have Destiny PS4

I have Destiny for PS4 and like you, have just started playing and also from an "elderly demographic."  Well I guess if you call early 30's elderly.  Anyhoo you are welcome to add me.

01/17/2015 - 3:20am So are you saying

So are you saying this universe is possibly the alternate universe and aren't part of the real universe? ERMAHGERD

12/30/2014 - 8:46pm Not only is it Harbaugh day..

It's also my birthday. And i thought Christmas really masked people remembering my birthday... I think Harbaugh day takes that title now.

12/06/2014 - 8:02am And 800 non evident cc threads are?

Show some compassion and don't be a tool.

10/06/2014 - 6:36am The difference is

One is a 6-6 season tool and the other is a michigan alum and proven track record tool. Ill take the latter..

10/05/2014 - 10:01am I disagree

I disagree. I don't think intensity can be generalized across the whole entire defense. To some degree sure but not entirely. I saw a few plays by Taco Charlton last night and a few hits by Jarrod Wilson that would make me think otherwise.  I think largely the team just looks out of position at all times.  Our secondary made Gary Nova look like Drew Brees reincarnated.

10/03/2014 - 9:38am Not sure how else to word it.

Not sure how else to word it.  It was from yesterday's game of Arizona Vs. Oregon.  You know the ticker that runs at the bottom showing scores and the like?  it said NCAAF:  Dave Brandon has been quoted in saying that he prefers to wait till after the season to evaluate coaching staff.  So it was either quoted last night or early this morning on ESPNU.  It did not give a source at the bottom on the ticker.  My source is that I saw it on ESPNU. Don't know what else to tell ya.

09/20/2014 - 8:05pm College football landscape had changed.

Adapt or die. Guess which one we picked...

08/03/2014 - 11:47pm Changing M football into a brand

It's just another way to try and change Michigan football into a unique brand. The block M is becoming our brand logo. It's been Dave Brandon's goal from day 1. Its not a bad thing. I think it looks good and when we start winning our brand will become stronger.

06/17/2014 - 12:31am I don't think Calipari

I don't think Calipari needs to begativly recruit. Alot of his kids are nba stars. John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans, Nerlens Noel, Anthony Davis... All lottery picks in the NBA. There's that and i remember him saying in an interview around March Madness where he doesnt care if his kids do the 1 and done thing. So i imagine no pressure to stay and be a lottery pick in the NBA makes the decision hard to pass up.

04/28/2014 - 3:29pm Need both

Need both or Hoke is in trouble. Fans and alums are getting restless.. The RROD years definitely provoked how dire this is.

04/25/2014 - 9:02am Oy vey

So that's why he was waiting so long.. Waiting for that result to make his decision for him. Well that's unfortunate for all parties..

03/12/2014 - 8:30am Out of town in indy

Out of town in indianapolis working but most of my co-workers live in northwest indiana and were supposed to travel home today. Ironically enough we are all having trouble extending hotel stay because of the big ten tourney

02/05/2014 - 11:42pm Some kids don't wanna play class

End of story.

02/05/2014 - 11:35pm Chase winovich

He was lifelong buckeye fan and ended up choosing Michigan. Kids are allowed to change their mind. It doesn't happen often for a lifelong fan but it does happen. Circumstances haven't exactly been in our favor after this past season.

01/23/2014 - 10:15pm desparate?

desparate you say?  I think that's all I needed to know about you!

01/22/2014 - 9:15pm my reaction fits this description:

01/20/2014 - 10:30am I'm sorta on the fence about it

I'm sorta on the fence about it.  I actually like Richard Sherman.  Yeah he tends to run his mouth a bit.  He is one of the few who runs it and backs it up on the field with play.  You can't argue with success and results are in the numbers.  #1 pass defense in the NFL.  That accolade is not an individual effort though.

So, do i think his onfield play warranted that reaction or justified it in the interview? Maybe.  What needs to be understood is actions or swear words aside, you are a representative of the entire NFL organization.  This game is broadcasted on a local channel and there are millions of kids watching.  Do you want your kid to idolize Russell Wilson or Richard Sherman?

That being said, emotions were running high and he made a game winning play. I don't think telling Crabtree he is a sorry receiver was justified but given the situation, i think i will give him a pass unless this type of action starts becoming the norm for him.

01/19/2014 - 11:16am Did this person not watch any of the bowl games

Did this person not watch any of the bowl games.. I.E. Nebraska/Iowa come to my mind where they beat Georgia and hung in there till the very end with LSU.

01/18/2014 - 9:43pm BOOM.

01/18/2014 - 5:41pm That's the beautiful thing about this board

That's the beautiful thing about this board.  If i resist the urge to creep because of some rationality telling me to stop because it's absurd, even though deep down I really want to, there's always another member that has gone ahead and did your dirty work.  Bravo.

01/18/2014 - 3:35pm Kugler

Kugler.  With him, having taken a redshirt and his dad being an o-line coach for an NFL team, i'm sure he has the mechanics/technique down.  I don't see how with our center shuffle last year that we would keep this kid off the field unless a "play the best player regardless of starting experience" approach is not taken.

01/18/2014 - 2:19pm The ability to play nearly as successfully away as we do at home

The ability to play nearly as successfully away as we do at home would show great promise in the maturation of this michigan team.  I think having a better overall away record would be a step in the right direction.

01/16/2014 - 5:41pm I actually like them playing unranked

I actually like them playing unranked.  With the gauntlet coming up as mentioned, i'd like to beat the MSU's and OSU's with as much underdog perspective as possible.    All they need to do is focus on each game at a time.  With the schedule they are going to go through, if played well, the ranking will come.  JUST WIN BABY!

01/16/2014 - 5:30pm I like em both

Morgan has been solidly improving every year that I've seen him play. he used to be so tentative under the hoop with his putbacks.   Now you see him going up a little stronger.  However, Horford has really been picking up the slack in McGary's absence.  Hard to say but I think both deserve a fair share of play time till a clear winner emerges.
