You didn't see *everyone* setting up Michigan for the upset against IU?  They (all college sports media) were pushing the narrative all week.

If Michigan loses to Rutgers... I mean, some of you guys are acting like they already have. Granted, it's Rutgers and Michigan looks pathetic but still, some of you guys, c'mon already!

Edit: If Michigan does lose this game, then I'm over & out.

I can promise you one thing.

The B1G doesn't have to do anything to set Michigan up for an upset. That is ALREADY being handled by our coaching staff.

Carry on.

This game - given my current expectations - has the capacity to suck so much, and like every football fan in a dysfunctional relationship with their team, I am here for it.

Based on watching the performance of this team and the way the talent has been coached down, and after watching Rutgers put up 27 on OSU and only giving up 49, I wouldn't be so sure that this would be an upset.

I don't see it happening.  The only reason Rutgers scored on OSU was because they were shuttling young guys in on defense all second half and Rutgers was running one trick play after another.  They capitalized on the confusion.

No way does Rutgers beat us.

Can’t wait for next years revenge tour... Sparty, Hoosiers and Rutgers?? I feel like we’ve been twilighted back to 2008 or 2014... What happened to the team Harbaugh said could be ready to play anyone in 2 weeks? At least we know. Can you imagine how many of us would’ve been blaming COVID on why we didn’t finally beat OSU... we’d be hearing “This was our year but Kevin Warren screwed us.” ?‍♂️

We are in the worst kind of football purgatory. Not good enough to beat any quality teams, but expectations are so high that it’s hard to enjoy the victories over the teams they can beat. A win over Rutgers is expected and it would be more of a relief that Michigan didn’t lose, rather than joy that they won.
