Would a loss to Rutgers really be an upset this year ?
November 9th, 2020 at 4:59 PM ^
Maybe the OP meant that we are going to upset Rutgers this year.
November 9th, 2020 at 9:30 PM ^
Shitty thing is? That's exactly how I read it. UoM upsetting Rutgers. What a horrible state of affairs.
November 9th, 2020 at 4:35 PM ^
Are we sure Michigan will be favored?
November 9th, 2020 at 4:35 PM ^
I believe we kicked their ass at night a couple times too though. Game time has nothing to do with the outcome there.
November 9th, 2020 at 4:40 PM ^
The Big Ten Network loves nothing more than a Michigan upset.
November 9th, 2020 at 4:45 PM ^
Michigan staff sets Michigan up for upsets. Fixed it for you. :)
How prepared will the team be for this game?
November 9th, 2020 at 7:57 PM ^
You are still around, fake insider?
November 9th, 2020 at 8:51 PM ^
Now ..... don’t you go thinking Rutgers has forgotten the 78-0 score. Just sayin.
November 9th, 2020 at 4:46 PM ^
Ha-ha. Jokes on the B1G Network.
We need NO help to get upset. That skill we've got nailed down on our own thank you very much.
November 9th, 2020 at 4:57 PM ^
You didn't see *everyone* setting up Michigan for the upset against IU? They (all college sports media) were pushing the narrative all week.
November 9th, 2020 at 4:57 PM ^
Wow...that makes 3 of the first 5 games as under the lights. Win, Lose or Draw Michigan brings eyeballs and ratings.
November 9th, 2020 at 5:19 PM ^
Everyone enjoys a good terror show
November 9th, 2020 at 5:25 PM ^
Can't stop watching...
November 9th, 2020 at 8:19 PM ^
Is that the trump train?
not sorry
November 10th, 2020 at 10:32 PM ^
You must not read much.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:18 PM ^
Well, we are 1-0 on the road at night this year and 0-2 at Noon, so hope???
November 9th, 2020 at 4:58 PM ^
2 things: Do you blame them?
Is it really an upset now?
November 9th, 2020 at 5:14 PM ^
Rutgers at night is like a tag that always sticks up, a small patch of neck stubble you miss while shaving, or that small urge to pee when you're already in bed.
November 9th, 2020 at 5:17 PM ^
"Set up" for an upset?
LOL.
Like they need any kind of set up for that...they doing a fine job of setting themselves up for upset(S)
November 9th, 2020 at 5:56 PM ^
hold me
November 9th, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
Harbaugh trending towards the worst team in the entire east. 6 years in. It’s almost impressive.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:28 PM ^
Maybe Harbaugh spent last summer golfing with Shea and he confused himself into thinking that the fewer number of games won means he’s winning the conference?
I mean, it’s possible, right?
November 10th, 2020 at 10:09 AM ^
We're just the Texas or Tennessee of the north. Like you look at the roster vs the other teams around you and you're like wow how does this team look so bad. I agree. It's borderline impressive to look so incompetent in year 6
November 9th, 2020 at 6:04 PM ^
Yep.
Us against the World.
We'll have more "prime time" night games than osu this year.
Go Blue.
November 10th, 2020 at 8:05 PM ^
Instead of taking on the world can we focus on East Lansing and then Bloomington Indiana? Kind of need to walk before you run.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:04 PM ^
Wrong. Don Brown and JH are setting us up for an upset.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
Are we really gonna lose to a team we beat 78 to 0 a couple years back? it is a definite possibility .
November 9th, 2020 at 6:23 PM ^
Great, another late night humiliation.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:25 PM ^
Rutgers beating Michigan would hardly qualify as an upset right now.
Maybe if Chris Ash was still there, but they have competent coaching now.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:26 PM ^
If Michigan loses to Rutgers... I mean, some of you guys are acting like they already have. Granted, it's Rutgers and Michigan looks pathetic but still, some of you guys, c'mon already!
Edit: If Michigan does lose this game, then I'm over & out.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
I can promise you one thing.
The B1G doesn't have to do anything to set Michigan up for an upset. That is ALREADY being handled by our coaching staff.
Carry on.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
DONT WORRY WE'RE GETTING CLOSE
November 10th, 2020 at 8:59 AM ^
....TO THE BOTTOM OF THE B1G EAST!
November 9th, 2020 at 6:46 PM ^
This game - given my current expectations - has the capacity to suck so much, and like every football fan in a dysfunctional relationship with their team, I am here for it.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:50 PM ^
A loss is a loss.
November 9th, 2020 at 6:52 PM ^
Based on watching the performance of this team and the way the talent has been coached down, and after watching Rutgers put up 27 on OSU and only giving up 49, I wouldn't be so sure that this would be an upset.
November 9th, 2020 at 7:03 PM ^
Who's got it better than us?
November 9th, 2020 at 7:19 PM ^
EVERRRRRRYBODYYYYYYYY
November 9th, 2020 at 7:09 PM ^
Another. Fucking. Night. Game.
November 9th, 2020 at 7:27 PM ^
I would pick Rutgers and I don’t think it is an upset. Schiano is a good coach.
November 9th, 2020 at 7:33 PM ^
I don't see it happening. The only reason Rutgers scored on OSU was because they were shuttling young guys in on defense all second half and Rutgers was running one trick play after another. They capitalized on the confusion.
No way does Rutgers beat us.
November 9th, 2020 at 9:32 PM ^
Considering the fact our coaches do not watch opponents film, those same trick plays will work against us too.
November 9th, 2020 at 7:43 PM ^
Well, we're all pretty upset.
November 9th, 2020 at 7:58 PM ^
Make sure the team shows up.
November 9th, 2020 at 8:22 PM ^
Can’t wait for next years revenge tour... Sparty, Hoosiers and Rutgers?? I feel like we’ve been twilighted back to 2008 or 2014... What happened to the team Harbaugh said could be ready to play anyone in 2 weeks? At least we know. Can you imagine how many of us would’ve been blaming COVID on why we didn’t finally beat OSU... we’d be hearing “This was our year but Kevin Warren screwed us.” ?♂️
November 9th, 2020 at 8:26 PM ^
I am already upset.
November 9th, 2020 at 8:31 PM ^
Weird that so many TV networks put poor disadvantaged can't possibly compete Michigan on primetime.
November 9th, 2020 at 10:54 PM ^
We are in the worst kind of football purgatory. Not good enough to beat any quality teams, but expectations are so high that it’s hard to enjoy the victories over the teams they can beat. A win over Rutgers is expected and it would be more of a relief that Michigan didn’t lose, rather than joy that they won.
