Shea Patterson attending The Game?

Submitted by Michigan9 on
Seeing the rumor Ole Miss QB Shea Patterson is visiting Michigan this weekend? Highly touted in 2016 and with Ols Miss penalties possibly being announced very soon, might be looking elsewhere. Also hearing penalties may allow transfers to play right away. I don’t know much about him. Someone we’d want?

Because they're trying to ensure we're never in a QB situation similar to the one we are in this year? You're welcome to abandon ship at your earliest convenience. Edit: this is what it looks like when you comment on the app after someone gets caved. #dumb

it makes cents that he picked Ole Miss because of their tradition. In fact I’d bet dollars to donuts that Ole Miss spared no expense in showing him exactly how fortunate he’d be to play at such a great program. Check the history, you’ll see that when it comes to top billing, it’s Ole Miss or nothing.

No his brother did play at SJ and his brother also coaches at ole miss. They are huge Michigan fans. While ole miss is definitely handing out cash. Shea did not choose ole miss because of cash (the family does not need it) immediate playing time and no competition is the main reason, as well as his brother going to coach and the weather. He is a competitor and wants to win and be in the league. now that it's not gonna happen there for obvious reasons Michigan is his team. Not saying he ends up here, just saying he would love to. Coach Harbaugh is not gonna mess around and worry about hurt feelings and transfers because of competition. He is gonna get the best players he can that fit in to help the team be the best they can be.

because they hired his brother. The same reason he committed to Arizona: because they hired his brother. Ole Miss threw a bigger bag at his brother, and therefore a bigger bag at Patterson. Just because Patterson didn't "need" the money doesn't mean he didn't want it. My family was well off while I was in college, but I still got a job so I didn't have to ask for anything.

If you think the only reason he committed was because of his brother your wrong. Furthermore in my comment I said that was part of it. You up here acting like I didn't mention that. Fat guy needs to calm down.. comin in here with that forceful reply. Quit trippiin homie daaaannng.

If Patterson chose Ole Miss because he wanted immediate playing time and no competition, then why would he come to Michigan where there would be at least two and very possibly three other scholarship QBs on the roster? If he thinks he's just going to show up and Harbaugh will anoint him the starter he's mistaken.

As much has Peters has looked like a great game manager with potential you need a mobile qb to win now in college. You need a guy that can get u the 1st down with his feet or at least the threat of that. They need more of that on the roster

There is more to it than that I hate the spread offense but unfortunately that is what the majority of high school is running now too. That effects offensive line production from high school to college hence you are training lineman to actually be real lineman in college=more qb’s getting hit in pass protection in pro style offense. =need a mobile qb that can get away from the pressure

No check out Alabama and there qb. I’m not saying we need to run spread but look at the teams that consistently win the last decade. They have a mobile qb. Saban figures this our and he is as stubborn as they come. Just because you run a pro style offense doesn’t mean you have to have a qb that can’t run.

A. Yes Alabama was my thought process, get a guy who can gun it but can also run when the play breaks down

B. Whatever Arizona is running is working a damn sight better than the Harbaughffense has this year. Running Play Action on 3rd and Long is one of the stupidest things I have witnessed in my 20 years watching college football.
