Juwan has had a few off-putting passive aggressive comments in pressers this year, and his comment about "I didn't know I was being interviewed at this time" when asked if he should be back next year is another one.
Dude just does not want to keep any of the good will he's built up and dude is not handling the pressure well.
My dude, if you don't think stealing a well regarded RB coach from our biggest rivals is a big hire, then you are just looking for things to be mad about.
Its weird how some people seem to have this strange need to tell everyone they are not a fan of Caleb Williams or how the guy scouts have all said is the best prospect is no good and absolutely a bust.
"There are considerations about how firing Juwan will affect this roster and the incoming players next year, about whether firing him would damage the school's relationship with the Fab Five, and whether, this far away from their playing days, that would even matter in terms of hurting potential recruits and our overall reputation."
These are considerations that should be held for 5 seconds before moving on to consider the current state of the program and what the best move is for the program moving forward.
"Unfortunately, Angelique Chengelis is reporting that Mike Hart will not return as a running backs coach next year...so it seems like this was a decision from Moore."
I don't get how this is the conclusion gathered here.
So Sherrone didn't want Hart back but waited months to officially move on, seemingly hasn't been looking for a replacement during this time, and missed the window of available coaches?
Or Sherrone gave Mike time to figure things (or health) out and either Mike or the two of them together realized it wasn't tenable. This seems more likely, idk.
"So, you either trust the coaches to get them prepared and put them in position to win games with their skill sets or you don't. "
No, that's not the situation. These comments are not about if the staff can get them ready to go or not.
They are about how the only support the "QB will be fine" posters, and tbh even Brian have presented, is that it would look cool to have an Orji led running offense.
It's fine to be skeptical of the QB situation right now, it's logical. The over positivity about QB is almost fully cuz vibez
There is no reason for Howard to remain at UM and even less for Warde. His ability to hitch himself to the wrong wagon is the only impressive thing about him.
We're an internet message board. Do we think Mike is reading this and getting warm and fuzziness? Probably not.
But we know people come here and rip info and post it on X and Reddit.
So at best this stuff is self congratulatory to make us feel good that doesn't do anything for Mike Hart, but has the potential to drum up rumors when we could just leave well enough alone.
"He was clearly relying on two transfers that did not materialize"
That's pretty poor roster management and construction if you've put yourself in a spot where you'll only have success if two transfers come in AND you don't even know if they can get admitted

Imagine calling an 18 yr old soin to be college athlete a little boy. What a goober comment, lol.
Damn, you must be so cool telling everyone how you never heard of the top recruit in the class. Such a badass to not care if he comes or not!
Why would he start…
What?
Why would he start right away now that Dug is gone, they play different positions.
He would've potentially started anyway, but Dug leaving is likely part of why he is gone, since they were close.
Who is still technically* on the roster for next year?
Jace
Burnett
Tschetter
Reed
Khayat
Phat Phat
Anderson
What has Yaklich done to deserve CIW?
Nailed it
Welp.
Juwan could do himself a favor and look for transfers that can get in, and not tell dudes they can come without knowing if they can or not.
Football has been able to use the portal quickly and effectively by identifying the right guys.

It's not. It's pretty universally well regarded and won a bunch of awards.
…
They won't come here.
You sure it's that coveted right now?
The BIG is not the best conference in CBB any more.
It's not "a rival's coach" it's OSU's coach.

Yeah, he should of just written his messages on his shoes or gloves or tape like everybody else does.
Or are those immature and bad leadership too? Or is it just because he painted stuff on his fingernails?
Tennessee has Levis. They aren't going QB this year.

SanDiegoWolverine and this comment disappointed so today. They really shit the beef against facts.

How do you think this supports your point?
That offense isn't "informing" us on next year. It's what we had to do to win that particular game due to a lot of circumstances.
Ffs it's not pissing and moaning to say QB is currently a weak spot and the options aren't confidence inducing.
Anyone saying things will be just fine there is operating on hope and wishes and it being cool if Orji is a stud and not any present data
"we'll just have to see how his arm is during spring." That pesky arm thing that happens to be pretty important for a QB...
Yes.
Yes.
…
Come on now. Don't do that
Sabb is clearly a very good player and NFL prospect. He's a "backup" bc of the depth and talent UM has at safety.
There is no reason for Howard to remain at UM and even less for Warde. His ability to hitch himself to the wrong wagon is the only impressive thing about him.
Mediocre is quite generous
While I appreciate the pun, as noted in his recent recap, Kendrick Bell is a WR now and has been for a bit.
Everyday I find myself caring about and enjoying CFB a little less.
I'm glad the boys got it done this year.
Some of y'all need to learn how to take the maize and blue glasses off at times
I don't think he was planning on being a starter for *two* seasons and that is partly why he is on his way out
This is just not true. There have been plenty of comments and posts about Hart lately and his absences
I'll go the other way with you.

I think the best way to show our support is to just leave things alone and let him have his privacy either way.
Brian, what have you seen that makes you so sure about Orji that no one else has?
It just feels like you miss Denard and want that to happen again
I generally like to be optimistic about things I've seen be positive, not things that just haven't been negative yet
"Also, if Morris is WR2, who is WR1 and why?
If anyone is WR1, it has to Loveland just based on film. "
This is literally what they say and it is typed in the recap.
They are saying he's the #2 guy in the passing game not the #2 guy at the position
"He was clearly relying on two transfers that did not materialize"

"Putting Edwards, Mullings in the back field and then splitting Edwards out should be our base."
No it shouldn't.
People have fallen in love with the "this would look cool and quirky" offense and talked themselves into it being better than it is.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence
Not sure if joking but your link literally says Jedd Fisch hired him at UW
No, he's the Chiefs DL coach.
I'm not sure what the rest of your comment means, but Cullen was recently on the Ravens staff with Minter and McDonald.
I don't really think this applies here. There is another reason he didn't make it in the NBA.
Yeah, but then you should stop and consider the context of when those hires happened and how
They are talking about players, obviously
Yeah, I am a big NO on Oates
Quail
Yes.
Quail
Zinter and Benny are both injured-out and wouldn't appear on a depth chart
"I havent looked at how his qbs have faired over the years or if his offense would fit."
Seems like you researched this well before making a post.
They didn't mean he literally has always been a Raider.
He grew up a Raiders fan. It's been talked about a ton on broadcast about how he understand the team and Raiders culture
