Michigan Made

I think he could have created some momentum before the monsoon. Brandon Peters can make the throws that the two starters could not. Hes more relaxed and looks to be a smarter player. But we'll never know! All we can hope for is an Ohio State losses at Iowa and here in Ann Arbor, Penn State losses at Michigan state and Maryland, Michigan state losses at Ohio state and Maryland or Rutgers, we win out play in the B1G championship. Nooooooo problem. Damn you monsooooooooon!!

I went to Moeller. /ducks

Yeah, the ND connection is strong there, no doubt -- for obvious reasons.

I think that the absolute worst combo is the OSU football/UK basketball fan. There are a LOT of those.

In any event, I DID enjoy the weeping and gnashing of Buckeye teeth this past Saturday. That was glorious.

See OSU with a decent record so that we can really ruin their season, like we used to when Cooper was their coach. Those were the days.

You respect their program?  They spent a decade committing countless NCAA violations with a coach who claimed to be clean as a whistle.  When he was fired in disgrace, they hired a guy who was so unethical his own players said he's a bad person. Give me a break.

Fuck Joe Pa and anyone who defends him. Just realize that you are not any more anti-pedophelia than anyone rooting for PSU. Everyone is anti-pedophelia. It's an evil, one-off thing that happened and rooting for PSU doesn't make you any less anti-pedophelia than say, Jim Harbaugh, whose religious beliefs align with another relatively well known institution that enabled a pedophelia ring. So stop with the fucking self-righteousness. No one disagrees what happened was evil. Idiots defending JoePa are like flat Earthers in that they deny the facts but they are not pro-pedophelia. That is ridiculous. Joe Pa was fired and is dead, Spanier is ruined, and Sandusky in prison for life. If you are waiting for them to shut down a 156 year old University with 700,000 alumni that employs tens of thousands of people you are wasting your breath.

I have been to Michigan games The Horseshoe, Spartan Stadium, and Happy Valley and I can say without a doubt the worst fans are OSU fans. Next is Sparty. PSU fans are the least obnoxious of the bunch. Fuck OSU their shitty fanbase doesn't deserve being the Alabama of the north but they are.

Nice to see that MSU lost, but it still fucking pisses me off that OSU somehow continues to get all the breaks, all the luck and all the whatever the fuck it needs to win big games.

They get big wins handed to them on goddamn silver platters rolled out on a red carpet. I hope Alabama jailsexes them in the playoffs if either us or Wisconsin don’t manage to spring an upset.

I'm convinced that urban Meyer sold his soul to the devil. Now very likely Ohio makes the playoffs for the 3rd time in 4 years. Even though I hate pedo-state, seeing Ohio continue to make the playoffs is annoying and gives me immense anger. Ohio gets every break imaginable and it seems like no matter what they're a lock for 11.5 wins per year. I hope we somehow beat them but if not I will take solace in the fact that Bama will beat them the fuck down.

They had to overcome a shitstorm, imo. I knew they would likely win after the first quarter when it was obvious that OSU was clearly the better team (outside of kickoff)... This doesn't mean shit for our matchup with them though - true rivalry games are a different beast

Not so sure they get in even if they win out. Assume Alabama gets in. Then you're looking at a 1 loss Georgia that lost to Alabama, 1 loss Clemson or Miami, 1 loss Oklahoma with a big head to head win @OSU, 1 loss Notre Dame, 1 loss Washington. Lots of football left obviously. But a 2 TD home loss isn't necessarily going to hold up if you get into splitting hairs to pick teams.

Also, if they lose to us or MSU, they still beat PSU on the tiebreaker but have 2 losses versus 1 for the season so not clear they would be hte one chosen even if conference champ. Potential reverse of last season's situation with PSU and they probably aren't getting in at that point.
