Mother of Leesburg (Ga.) 5-star DT @AubreySolomon91 called today's in-home with #Michigan "the best visit ever" ($) http://www.scout.com/college/michigan/story/1746524-u-m-in-home-with-solomon-best-visit-ever

A picture is worth a thousand words. I'm still skeptical but get the "so you're telling me there's a chance memes" ready...

Nothing shady about taking his daughter.  Kids that age like nothing better than going places with their parents.  Obviously it was arranged between the families, and actually, kind of underscores the Michigan family atmosphere.

Cash, now that would be shady. We offer recruits a college experience that means more than cash. Harbaugh's daughter on a recruit home visit, awesome.

I love this! Family? No problem bringing Addison while mom handles the newborn.

On a different tack, can you imagine being a teenage boy trying to date Addison? Not to mention having to ask Jim Mother Fucking Harbaugh for his daughters hand in marriage. LOL!! Addison will not marry timidity...

The picture of Harbaugh and Aubrey's sister in that Go Kart is priceless. Harbaugh with his eyes on the road and a wry smile. Aubrey's sister with pure joy on her face. This is what Harbaugh is about.

But why not take your kids on a recruiting trip? Could you imagine how fun it would be to take a road trip with Dad (or Mom, for that matter).

Add in Crazy Uncle Don (who is really a nice guy, but occasionally forgets who he's talking to and brings up the insane things he did as a detective in the 80s), go carts, and probably a few stops for some ice cream, and that really sounds fun.

Coach Addison, "Why don't you go over there a play dolls 2ith my sister?" Addison, "I don't play with dolls, I coach Michigan Football"

Well, you get the idea.

If Mateen Cleaves had gone on his recruiting visit in that go-cart instead of the Ford Explorer, things would have been a whole lot different. That needs to be our all-purpose recruting vehicle from now on.

"Listen, Aubrey, I get you're a 5 star and all but you've got a lot of work to do. Look at you on this play here in the 2nd quarter. You've got to feel the linemen trying to hed .... What are you staring at?" Uhhh hmm nothing "Alright, good. You've got to anticipate that hedge. Besides myself there's only 1 person that can teach you that and it's my dad."

Still going to be tough to get him through all the bagmen. However, after listening to Aubrey's mom's interview with Sam Webb last week, I feel like UM has a very real chance.

but this would be a much bigger pickup imo.  Had we gotten the #1 recruit two years in a row it would have been quite a statement, but RB was not a position of need, even if we don't have a consensus "elite" back on the team.  I do think the rotation between Evans, Walker, Higdon, Isaac and Samuel will be just fine going forward.

We need to win in the trenches on both sides of the ball, that and the QB position are where these games against elite teams will be won.

Solomon fill a huge void at the NT position and could create a formidable tandem with Gary.

If we close with Solomon and a couple more O-linemen I think we'd have to consider this class a home run, despite the inevitable miss on a few recruits we really wanted/finished 2nd for - (Harris, WIlson, and potentially others).

Anyone who said landing Najee Harris over Solomon was more important is just so wrong.

Najee Harris is not as overrated as Derrick Green out of high school, but he is definitely not a 5* talent.  There is quite a difference between Najee Harris and Cam Akers.  Its not that close IMO.  Najee may not even be a top 10 running back if i really took the time and analyzed all the RBs and did comparisons.

Solomon, on the other hand?  Holy fuck.  He is arguably the #1 DT in this class.  Definitely a much bigger land than Najee would have been, especially when considering depth, not just my opinion of one being a top 15 player, and the other around 40-60.
