This is a good spot to describe the moods associated with various win/loss margins of the average Michigan fan.

80-40 win: everyone is uniformly impressed

70-50 win: a few known salty dogs emerge, but for the most part we are Satisfied

60-60, or within 5 points of that: lots of sloppy guard play, late rotations on defense, easy layups, no one boxes out, soft team that wins by the three and dies by the three, lazy defense, no alpha dog

55-65 loss or worse: equivalent to NY Jets fans after they lose any game. Doom Gloom Zero Postseason Hope.

Well.  Let's just say this: we're a bubble team again I think, but this win will definietly help come March; unlike last year when we didn't have shit other than our good Conference games we won.  Having a non-conference win like this (Texas will be decent by end of season, I agree with Dakich) will make us sweat much less.

It's a win, but we've got to figure out who should be getting the ball.  Our seniors aren't getting it done right now.  Mo looks like he should be the go-to guy.  Opposing 5's can't check him on the perimeter.

The team has looked like a knock-off of Wisconsin circa 2011 at times this year. They showed more grit tonight than they did against Va. Tech. I wonder if the time they now spend on defense has cost the offense. Irvin, Walton, and Rahk combined for 13 points - ugh...It's nice to win. I hope this is the beginning of Wagner becoming the team's on-court leader.

I fear that is what they would become when they hired Donlon as a "defensive coordinator". This sucks because I despise the way Wisconsin plays (aside from the year they made the NC game).

or the other year they made the final 4...

or the 3 years that they made they elite 8...

or the 4 years they won the big ten...

or the 2 years they won the big ten tourney.

 

While Wisconsin's game play can be unfun to watch sometimes, its incredibly effective.  We should be so lucky.

has now played 5 teams that will Probably make the tournament....Marquette, SMU, S Carolina Va Tech and Texas with a 6th upcoming in UCLA....Come tournament time this will really help our SOS....This was a important win
