I think for me the fact they didn’t have a public spring game that gets me down. It’s the fact with no spring game all they give to the public is the most useless highlight clip. At least give us a longer clip for some excitement. It could be carefully picked up some some real highlights.
I think a lot of fans have a bad taste from 2020 and could use a little boost. Even if some people would be negative about it, it’s better to try and compromise to make some fans happy.
I think part of that is scheme. I mean other schemes, which appear simpler, have freshmen who have instant impact. CeeDee Lamb for OU had a solid season. Note in that example on top of scheme he also has Mayfield throwing to him.
What if instead we created a Dynamic Football Structure™ similar to what they have at ASU. All of our coaches will be offensive coordinators which will lead to an innovative and collaborative social media experience for our student athletes while providing much needed synergies. With the innovative Co-Co-Co-Co-Co or C5 structure we will be able to come up with multiple ways to run play action on 4th and 25 while not developing talent to its full potential.
I feel like you say that now but when it happened you would be calling for people to be fired. Aslo the landscape in the Big Ten has changed where I don't think you will see him pulling that off again.
Quinn is fantastic. I am glad we picked him up. DPJ stepped up today. He had a great return and did a great job of clearing people away from the short punt. Punting is bad and worries me. I feel like our return team sometimes sends too many people forward like they are going to block and then they do not go for the block and are too far forward to help setup for the return.
I cannot wait till football season. The lack of competent basketball and hockey teams really makes this board go down in quality during the football offseason.

I thought the D did great. Young D against a different O that punishes miscues is a potential bad situation and they did what they need to do.
At least the o-line and wrs will improve as the season goes on because they are young. I am hoping Speight can make some improvement
