Who are we heckling?  You think Aaron Craft is going to visit this site?  It's a bunch of people thinking it is funny and smarky to show a bunch of gifs about a guy who played for a rival who (by all accounts) seems like a halfway-decent kid who would have been welcomed with open arms had he played at UM.

I don't care that much about this usually because whatever, it's an internet forum.  But my gawd does this place devolve into RCMB territory whenever something bad happens to OSU or MSU.

I'm sure Craft is a good guy, but there are a lot of other players who represent themselves in an honorable way.  Most of these guys don't go to Ohio State.  Let's appreciate them first.

In other news. HAHA!!!!

EDIT:  I'll neg myself for missing the obvious.

Tough way to end your collegiate career but I think all of us would love ot have a PG like him any day of the week.

And now he can follow Trey into the pros. I think Trey will have a better pro career.

I suppose my questions are these - is it possible to end your college basketball career on a duffed layup but still show grit and determination while doing it? Can you commit an intentional foul with incredible hustle? Has Dan Dakich downed some Tussin and Jameson on his way to a little nap now?

*Craft makes a basket to put OSU ahead. *Commentators give endless love to Craft. *Dayton gets the winning basket. *Craft can't get the winning basket so OSU loses *Dead silence for about 20 seconds. *Commentators give praise to Craft on his career. My GOD. Stop slobbering over Craft and give some love for a team who not only won but SHOULD have had this win wrapped up much earlier.

As a Michigan fan, I love this thread.

As a parent, I get a litte uneasy.  It's not like this dude brought any of this on himself (other than the airballs).  For all intents and purposes, he seems like a good, upstanding citizen.  His career is over now, so I wish him well.

Have anything against Craft personally.  He seems like a good dude, and I think he and Trey were both really good for each other.

It's the commentators we hate.  Craft does not have a holier-than-thou attitude.  The commentators do, and they use Craft as a vehicle for that.  And that's what people hate

The kid gets crazy amounts of attention, and yes, he's basically just a REALLY good rec/intramural player offensively...but damn, I tip my cap to that kid.

I may respect him more than any other player for any of our rivals in any sport.

I'm going to miss our teams competing AGAINST him.

Well done Aaron, congrats on one hell of a career.

I do appreciate Craft.  I picked OSU to win the game, but I was rooting for Dayton.  Glad that OSU is out, but I don't have anything bad to say about Craft.  I don't think that he was a great basketball player, but he played hard.  I wish that all of the players on my favorite teams always played as hard as he always did.  I am glad that we don't have to face him anymore.

I guess who I feel bad for is Bruce Pearl. Dude got a show-cause penalty for recruiting Aaron Craft and lying about it. What we didn't know at the time is that he must've said "have you seen his jumper? I would never recruit him"
