01/13/2018 - 8:58pm Damn

Didn't realize Kim Jong-Un posted on Mgoblog.

09/11/2017 - 7:51am Did you ever think

Maybe you're the problem?  Men can be whores too.

09/08/2017 - 12:52pm Oh yeah

That's the good stuff I need.

09/05/2017 - 6:05pm It all depends

If every team Bama faces has lost the week before, they won't actually accumulate any more areas.  Someone in the reddit thread pointed out that it's possible Miami (YTM) could go 4-0 and not have a single county on the map, since they didn't even get their own county to start out with (FIU did).

09/05/2017 - 4:35pm They use it often

I'm pretty sure it stands for Edge Defender, and they group 3-4 OLBs and 4-3 DEs together.

09/04/2017 - 4:56pm Gave me a Pudi vibe

09/04/2017 - 11:10am Nah

In the post-game interview he said he missed the sweet spot on the ball on that kick and that he had hit from 60 during practice

08/25/2017 - 10:03am Wow

Was not expecting to see the South Dakota State Jackrabbits mentioned in this thread.

08/24/2017 - 2:16pm No more early cut day

There's no intermediate cut day anymore.  September 2nd rosters have to be trimmed to 53, no requirements to cut players prior to that.

08/12/2017 - 12:19pm Could you change your name?

It's not funny to joke about murderers, even if it is in the context of eating vegetables.

08/04/2017 - 9:48am I see

You're not a fan of the 'printed out of a label maker' look?

08/01/2017 - 9:29am Tesla

Tesla is a long way away from seriously threatening any of the major auto producers, foreign or domestic.  The incumbents have the huge advantage in production capability and experience.  Tesla's advantages are their battery production and charging network, which have absolutely nothing to do with building a quality, reliable automobile.

In other words, it will be much easier for the major producers to adapt to Tesla's innovations and negate them than it will be for Tesla to match the quality mass production that others are already capable of.

07/14/2017 - 9:06pm Quoted for Truth

"Nevermind. I can't argue"

07/14/2017 - 4:34pm Haha

1)  Have you ever appealed a tax valuation before?  I have, and I won, and I didn't spend any money at all, and I'm not a lawyer.

2)  No, you're wrong (wow what a strong argument)

3)  "Golf is crack for rich white people"

Of course houses are undervalued with respect to taxation, because in many cases they do not get revalued until they change hands, so people that have lived in a home since it was built 60 years ago are paying way less than their fair share. Trickle down economics isn't even an actual economic theory, so no, I don't believe in it.

07/14/2017 - 3:52pm This is a stretch

So your first source is a specific club negotiating with the local government for a tax break, but your own source states they had previously been paying taxes on the government's valuation.

Your second sources pulls together a bunch of sources without mentioning any specifics. For instance, when the paper goes from saying "Most private clubs are nonprofit" to "Many private clubs also receive", that leads me to believe that the majority of clubs are not receiving substantial property tax exemptions.

Your third source seems a tad racist, so I didn't read past the title.

If you compare this to other property tax practices, it appears that golf courses aren't treated any differently.  The vast majority of houses in my neighborhood are undervalued with respect to taxation, almost all commercial real estate is depreciated far below its actual market value, resulting in tax breaks.  It seems like you may have a grudge against private clubs.

07/14/2017 - 2:58pm Source?

Hard to believe every private course receives tax money to keep it operating, local government officials would get booted quick.

07/14/2017 - 2:43pm Too late

05/11/2017 - 11:17am Well

She used to sleep with one of the players on the Browns, and used the connections she forged during that time to gather gossip.

05/09/2017 - 4:56pm Man

I'm going to be irrationally disappointed with the whole class if they don't get Faalele, the hype is too strong.

03/23/2017 - 3:14pm 85-79 Michigan

85-79 Michigan

03/17/2017 - 1:09pm Would be hilarious

if Leicester knocked out all four Spanish clubs en route to winning the Cup.

03/07/2017 - 12:18pm "wasn't a big sample size"

That's what she said.

02/03/2017 - 8:12am This isn't a commercial

It's a public service announcement for a non-profit organization.

This is obviously a load of bull, but that's what they'll tell you.

01/31/2017 - 11:47pm Never?

What about ice cream nachos?

01/31/2017 - 2:21pm Probably Not

My Iphone takes way better videos than that.

01/28/2017 - 7:13pm Yeah!

How dare the government try to enforce our laws!  Anarchy and open borders!  Wooooooo!

01/06/2017 - 1:08pm Georgia is the same

Went to a restaurant with my friend and he asked the server: "What kinds of Coke do you have?"

01/05/2017 - 4:08pm Breaking

Najee ate his waffle upside-down, is Washington in play now?

12/30/2016 - 10:15am I like your optimism

Everyone predicting a Michigan win, but I guess not taking into account that we'll be going against an amalgamation of two of the greatest coaches ever.

Jim-Bo Fisher

Frankly I'm surprised FSU isn't undefeated every year.

Michigan 33    FSU 13

12/21/2016 - 2:08pm Yeah but how's his bend?

Yeah but how's his bend?

12/08/2016 - 3:59pm I agree

Some of these recruits might find themselves unemployed.

11/10/2016 - 11:03am Happy Birthday

To my fellow Marines, I will be raising my glass to Chesty Puller and every one of you tonight.  Semper Fi!

11/01/2016 - 3:47pm It's the principle of the thing

But now we all know you got rejected from MSU's honor college, and I don't see any way of living that down.

11/01/2016 - 2:59pm Production?

"The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. The winners of the trophy epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work."

Which part of this translates to "the Heisman is about production"?

10/28/2016 - 11:36am 45-10

10/27/2016 - 12:07pm ToP

Even with high paced offenses, Ohio State and Auburn are still on offense the majority of time.  Clemson is really the oddball with one of the worst possession ratios and one of the best defenses.

10/24/2016 - 8:09am Yes

The loser of the game would be forced to take the trophy and display it in a prominent location on campus.  An interesting twist on the rivalry trophy, I kind of like it.

10/21/2016 - 10:21am 52-7 Michigan

09/18/2016 - 2:42pm No arguments from me

I think everyone should burn their red shirts, it's a terrible color.

09/15/2016 - 3:37pm Ah

The ol' Freudian Slip at it again, NTTAWWT.

09/02/2016 - 6:22pm Gary sighting

Gary on the Paramus sideline talking to the players.

09/01/2016 - 9:30am 55-21

55-21 Michigan wins.

I think Hawaii gets an early TD, and then a couple of garbage time scores as well.

08/30/2016 - 4:30pm None

Even if they traded AP their defense is still too good for them to tank.

08/30/2016 - 2:38pm Doubtful

A day may come when OSU fans have class, but it is not this day.

08/26/2016 - 2:48pm About O'Korn

It's not just his legs.  He proved that he has the ability to be an effective college quarterback over the course of a full season.  People see his freshman stats from Houston and hope that he can recreate that year again.

08/25/2016 - 2:29pm Just a rumor

I've heard he throws great parties.

08/18/2016 - 3:52pm Agreed

He'll win easily and still won't be close to his world record time.  His dominance in sprinting is incredible.  They'll be showing flashbacks of his races for a hundred years.

08/18/2016 - 9:56am I really enjoy these

These posts make the run-up to the start of the season so much better, so thank you to everyone that contributes their time and energy into making them.

My one suggestion for next year would be to use current players instead of past legends.  I think we all remember the greats, but I think it would be cool if we saw some of the less heralded members of the current squad that might not get to play much, but work every day to help the others on the team acheive greatness.

08/17/2016 - 4:21pm Homesure Lending, Residence

Homesure Lending, Residence Inn Ann Arbor, Moe's Sport Shops are the main ones I see regularly.  There's also a targeted adspace that seems to be based on my search history that rotates ads frequently.
