Send a message and make it a remainder of the season and playoffs ban.

Triple single is such a meh talent. Would have been out of the league 6 years ago for lack of productivity if not for the Warriors system and brilliance of Steph and Klay.
He’s a goon
December 14th, 2023 at 8:21 AM ^
That must be over my head. I do not get it.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:31 AM ^
He hitched himself to once in a lifetime shooters. The title is calling him a bitch. I could be wrong.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:32 AM ^
Got it. Thanks.
December 14th, 2023 at 10:09 AM ^
You are not wrong
December 14th, 2023 at 7:29 AM ^
And while we can say that Green is a Hall-of-Fame-level player…
WTF
December 14th, 2023 at 12:14 PM ^
He's 100% going to the Hall of Fame. This isn't even debatable. You either don't watch the NBA at all, or you're incredibly biased if you think otherwise.
December 14th, 2023 at 1:15 PM ^
I'm not so sure. His career numbers include 8.7 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, and 5.6 assists per game. That's not very impressive.
There are a few HOF players with fewer PPG than Green, but the only two in the relatively modern era (Ben Wallace and Dennis Rodman) were both rebounding champs. In other words, they were GREAT rebounders. Green isn't great at anything...except taking cheap shots at other NBA players.
December 14th, 2023 at 2:29 PM ^
His career numbers include 8.7 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, and 5.6 assists per game. That's not very impressive.
Ben Wallace is in the HOF with 5.7 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Thank you for proving my point for me.
Draymond is a 1-time DPOY, and 2-time DPOY runner-up. 4-time all-star. 2-time all-NBA. 8-time all-defensive team. One of the greatest defenders of all time. 4 championships (you can argue his contribution to them all you want, but he has the rings). Key member of one of the greatest dynasties the sport has ever seen.
I think he's a complete dirty piece of shit and a moron. The only way you can possibly argue he won't be in the HOF is that somehow voters will take into account his dirtiness and leave him off the ballot somehow. I doubt that will happen.
>Green isn't great at anything.
This is just dumb. Saying an 8-time all-defensive team player isn't great at defense is an awful take.
December 14th, 2023 at 3:28 PM ^
I don't think the NBA values defense in this era. It's all about the points, shooting percentages, etc. A defensive monster in the 1980s or 1990s meant something. Or when a guy is a great offensive player and also all-defense. But 8.7 points per game in an era of wide-open offense isn't going to match up with some of the monster numbers other guys are putting up, in my opinion.
We'll see in a few years.
December 14th, 2023 at 11:03 PM ^
We're arguing different things. You're trying to argue about what the NBA values, and I'm trying to argue about what the HOF values.
December 13th, 2023 at 9:07 PM ^
Good. It's taken way too long for his schtick to run out.
It's going to be interesting to see how people from GSW talk about him once he's off the team permanently (either via retirement or trade) because I have to assume he's a handful to deal with and a pretty big asshole.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of Poole's game in the NBA but I have newfound respect for him calling Draymond an expensive backpack and apparently that being the inciting incident for Draymond's sucker punch last year.
December 13th, 2023 at 9:11 PM ^
100%. There is definitely something wrong with the dude and he needs to be out of the game before he seriously hurts someone.
December 13th, 2023 at 9:55 PM ^
He's from Saginaw. That's what is wrong with him.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:18 AM ^
Hey, screw you. There are a lot of good people from Saginaw. For the record I can’t stand Draymond.
December 14th, 2023 at 9:23 AM ^
For the record, I was born and grew up in Saginaw. Got out for college. Went back for 5 years, got out and never looked back. I still have family there. For anyone who has never lived there you wouldn't understand. I have travelled to many places in this world and this country. Saginaw is a different place, with a backwards culture. If you don't like what I said, screw yourself.
December 14th, 2023 at 9:40 AM ^
leidlein,
Wow......carry a little of that "saginaw" with you wherever you go, huh?
December 14th, 2023 at 10:46 AM ^
I do actually. It's my hometown. I can't escape it. But as an insider, if anyone has a problem with me putting it down I honestly don't give a shit. And I meant my original comment sincerely. Saginaw goes a long way towards explaining why Draymond acts that way. If you or anyone disagrees, go live there for 20+ years and come back to me then.
December 14th, 2023 at 9:24 AM ^
Person with "Sagnasty" as their name tells me to screw myself for my comment. The irony.
December 16th, 2023 at 7:18 AM ^
For the record, I hate your name.
December 14th, 2023 at 10:10 AM ^
So that explains all my issues. Thanks
December 13th, 2023 at 9:55 PM ^
Yeah there’s something wrong with him: he’s an asshole. Always has been and likely always will be.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:58 AM ^
He even fights with his teammates!
I never bet, but I would put money on him sitting in jail within two years of leaving the NBA.
December 13th, 2023 at 10:08 PM ^
I thought Poole called him “Triple Single” to trigger the punch.?.? Funny and spot on.
December 13th, 2023 at 10:10 PM ^
I think he talked a lot of trash; wouldn't shock me if it was a lot of things. But I remember the backpack dig because it was particularly cutting.
December 14th, 2023 at 12:50 AM ^
Don't conflate on-court ass-holism with off-court ass-holism. The best comparison to Green is likely Rasheed Wallace who is a sweetheart off the court.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:37 AM ^
Rasheed was a good guy off the court and could have been one of the greatest players in the history of the game if he wasn't so got damn lazy.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:50 AM ^
Probably cuz he was tokin too much before AND after games
Police say Blazers' duo admitted smoking marijuana
Associated Press
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland Trail Blazers Damon Stoudamire and Rasheed Wallace admitted smoking marijuana to a Washington state trooper during a traffic stop last week, police said Tuesday.
December 14th, 2023 at 9:44 AM ^
Blazers gonna blaze.
December 14th, 2023 at 10:56 AM ^
Saw Wallace back during his Pistons stint parked outside the Domino's on the NE corner of Long Lake & Telegraph (a Hungry Howie's the last time I checked). Ginormous tripped-out Escalade. He sent one of his young sons inside to get the pizzas while he smoked a J. ID was confirmed as I backed out & noted the vanity plate (RASHEED1 or something similar).
Love Rasheed. Those Pistons, like the Bad Boys, should have also won back-to-back titles (and the Bad Boys should have won 3 straight!).
December 14th, 2023 at 12:21 PM ^
They would have won back to back if Rasheed didn't leave Robert Horey wide open for that 3 in game 5. A win in that game would have put the pistons up 3-2 and most likely would have won the series and championship. Yes, I'm still bitter.
December 14th, 2023 at 12:42 PM ^
The Pistons could have had 4 straight if not for the Bird steal in '87.
It all happened before I was born, and I'm not a big pro basketball fan anyway, but watching the Bad Boys documentary got me fired up about both of the playoff years preceding the championships. It was disappointing like I was there.
December 14th, 2023 at 10:27 AM ^
Green was arrested for fighting with an MSU football player outside of a college bar (at the age of 27) and said some not-great things to him. He also has gotten into it with teammates in non-game situations, as he did with Durant and then punching Jordan Poole. Those aren't all heat-of-the-moment basketball actions; those are actions by a guy who's indiscriminate about trying to hurt people he doesn't like. Rasheed Wallace was, by all accounts, a great teammate and people liked playing with him. He also never kicked multiple opponents in the groin or stomped on guys when they were on the ground.
Green also apparently (and I didn't know this until I was reading about his missteps) flashed his junk on Snapchat years ago as well - that's more funny than anything else but I thought it a fitting coda for the guy who swings at junk.
Green is just an asshole who got lucky to be drafted by a great team and found a good spot for him. He's a great defender and a pretty good passer but he's gotten away with a lot of bad behavior because the guys around him were great.
December 14th, 2023 at 1:30 PM ^
The best comparison to Green is likely Rasheed Wallace
Eh, not sure. Sheed was a hothead when it came to the officials and argued with them constantly (and received record numbers of technicals) but I don't remember him playing dirty like Green does.
I think Dennis Rodman is a closer comparison, but Green takes it further than he did.
December 14th, 2023 at 7:28 AM ^
Let's not give Poole any relief though...He is off of that team because they all hated him. He is basically a team cancer right now. If they liked him even a little it would have been their perfect time to move on from Draymond
December 14th, 2023 at 10:29 AM ^
Like I said, I don't like Poole's game in the NBA and totally get him not being on GSW. He's been a wreck in Washington, and if the Pistons weren't such absolute trash they'd be the poster child for terrible roster construction and a bleak future. But I also suspect part of the reason GSW chose Green over him was because this particular group of players have a small window to try to win a title and Green gave them a better shot at it.
December 14th, 2023 at 8:13 AM ^
I don't doubt that he is a handful to deal with, but from all accounts I've heard, he is actually a pretty good dude off the court.
December 13th, 2023 at 9:10 PM ^
"I didn't intend to hit him," Green said after the game, via ESPN. "I sell calls with my arms ... so I was selling the call ... and I swung and unfortunately I hit him."
This is why I detest this piece of crap. What a ridiculous statement. You turned completely around with your arm swinging in a wildly agressive punching motion, but you didn't mean to hit him?
You deserve everything you get.
December 13th, 2023 at 10:09 PM ^
Yea, I mean his fist was closed. He just happened to hit him with his forearm instead of his closed fist. Fuck this guy.
December 13th, 2023 at 10:20 PM ^
Been watching ball >45 years, never saw a roundhouse haymaker like that to sell a call. He's FOS.
December 14th, 2023 at 5:56 AM ^
Kermit Washington says Hello.
December 14th, 2023 at 10:41 AM ^
Also says that he wasn’t trying to sell a call.
December 13th, 2023 at 9:14 PM ^
Jordan Poole says hi....and Fuck Draymond.
December 13th, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
Jusuf Christ!
December 13th, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
Getting worse the longer he is in the league. From groin kicks to knockout punches. I'm thinking 10 game suspension.
December 13th, 2023 at 10:25 PM ^
Hopefully more. Ron Artest got 86 games for Malice at the Palace, Jermaine O'Neal got 15, and Stephen Jackson got 30.
Considering the frequency with which Draymond has been suspended, and the fact that he just keeps ratcheting up his antics. I could see a much longer suspension for him.
December 14th, 2023 at 7:23 AM ^
Yeah, I don't particularly care for Draymond Green, but I don't think this compares to having fist fights with fans after running into the stands.
