Sounds good to me, the only…

Sounds good to me, the only thing that sounds better is an auto-bench when someone plays hero ball.

I'm still amazed at the star…

I'm still amazed at the star watchers who failed to watch a UCLA game last year.  I'd be twice as concerned about quarterbacks. Moore looked very bad last year, and based on the tape available, we have at least 3 QBs already on the roster that could do far better than what I saw from him last season. Do you want the guy who lost the quarterback battle to him?

Football is not basketball. …

Football is not basketball.  In football a grad transfer may still have two years of eligibility, and they are bigger and stronger than the younger players.  There's also far more players who may need that one year at a program like Michigan to raise their draft stock.

In basketball, the transfers who are going to make a difference are usually second round picks or low first rounders.  They are not sticking around until they graduated which like or not, that is how it works at Michigan.

In basketball, Michigan either needs to go all in on NIL or find a coach that can turn players destined for Europe into low first round or second round NBA players.  Then use the portal to help fill out the roster with depth.

We need ballers, not bodies.

We need ballers, not bodies.

So his former coach is now…

So his former coach is now the OC at NILU; he's just looking to get a raise.

Bo's own quote would be…

Bo's own quote would be incorrect if you use the media's definition of what a "Michigan Man" is.

It's fact? That is not how…

It's fact? That is not how things work, you can't eliminate part of statistics that don't fit your narrative and then say your point is true, it's called a data fallacy or aka cherry picking. Anyone who works in statistics is easily going to agree that is the most dishonest way of proving you're correct.

What you also did is called modifiable areal unit problem (MAUP), which in your case is not even an unintentional bias.

As long as we have someone…

As long as we have someone else on the bench who knows how many timeouts we have.

Nebraska football won’t face…

Nebraska football won’t face the new look Michigan staff in 2024, unless they meet in the Big Ten Championship.

This second part of this sentence is just clutter and should have been removed by the editor.  Somebody must have forgot to tell Husker fans that the Big Ten West no longer exists.

Seems a little redundant…

Seems a little redundant when his name is the epithet.

That's kind of misleading;…

That's kind of misleading; Henderson has been RB1 for the last 3 years.

Android is owned by Google,…

Android is owned by Google, so I'm not sure there's a lesser of two evils in this argument.

They never said they wanted…

They never said they wanted the current NIL model; they just wanted to be able to make money like everyone else was off their names and faces.

Had they been allowed to sell shirts or sign autographs, they might have made more money in three years than they did in the NBA. Meanwhile, the TV networks and apparel companies maximized every penny they could off them.

There has been nothing close in college sports since the Fab Five.  There's been a few that got close, but the Fab Five was on another level.

I heard the same thing about…

I heard the same thing about NIL. Nothing will benefit Michigan until the people in charge get a backbone. Ohio State is not content with playing within the rules, regardless of what the rules are, and is more than happy to go over and beyond to find any and all dirt on Michigan. While our leadership sits back and says thank you, sir, can I have another?

Anything Saban is after will benefit Bama, and Ohio State is the closest thing to Bama there is.

Not going to defend the NCAA…

Not going to defend the NCAA, but it's pretty damn hard to do anything when they have to go to court to try and enforce rules.  Now, why I won't defend them? They cherry-pick who and when they decide to enforce the rules.

I can't say Calvin…

I can't say Calvin University either, it will forever be Calvin College :)

People hate change; with…

People hate change. That being said, they probably should have used the Denver Broncos logo so they looked more like a High School athletic team.

EDIT: The two logos are not identical, but the Denver Broncos logo is still all I think about when I see it.

With Ad-Blocker off, I got 1…

With Ad-Blocker off, I got 1,540 third-party requests on the initial page load, and it adds about 400-500 more every 5-10 seconds. In the time it took to type that sentence, it was at 3595 requests. Seth that is an issue—no site should load over 100 MB of ads!

Also, when I check the developer console, I see CORS violations, which is a huge issue. I'll continue donating, but I will never use this site without an ad blocker.

To finish, I let the site run for about 7 minutes. In that time, there have been 9,686 third-party requests, 273 MB transferred, 679 javascript errors, and almost 30,000 warnings.

Georgia players and coaches…

Georgia players and coaches got FOUR rings: one for the SEC title, one for the Peach Bowl, one for the National Title (that is the same every year and handed out by the CFP), then the one with two trophies is from the school.

I get that slang changes…

I get that slang changes over the years, but when I hear the word Natty I think of that cheap ass beer that was always left over after a BYOB party.  Not even drunk me was desperate enough to drink that stuff.

I really cannot think of a…

I really cannot think of a single reason other than a season ticket holder benefit (so that they can resell tickets at higher price) for having more difficult schedule. I argue that going forward, we should to everything in our control to make sure that we have the easiest football schedule possible. What say you?

As a season ticket holder, I love going to the stadium for big matchups. Nothing comes close to the atmosphere. Also, I have no plans of selling my tickets to anyone and for the amount they are charging, I don't feel like I'm getting my values worth by watching a glorified scrimmage.

The player has graduated…
  1. The player has graduated from wherever they are transferring from.
  2. The list gets pretty tiny after #1 because most transfers who can fix this mess are in the NBA already or haven;t graduated and are not going to lose credits towards their degree.
I doubt it. There's too much…

I doubt it. There's too much in the public now for the regents and president not to get involved. Even if it's partially true, the team is so bad, it's easier to move on in terms of PR than to defend it.

I know there are two side to…

I know there are two sides to every story but this is a horrible look for any team. Having a parent try and attack a coach for disciplining a young adult, who at this point in their life should know you don't treat people that way.  Having that parent be the head coach with a history of those actions is unacceptable.

Howard should have been suspended unless Sanderson physically went after Jace (which is hard to believe). At the same time, the school worked out the termination of his employment, not for this one action but for multiple interactions where Coach Howard felt violence was an acceptable way to solve a problem.

I understand the question's…

I understand the question's intent, but the answer will always be Charles Woodson. I don't remember where all the players are from, but is TE considered a skill position?

When I think of top all-time players at skill positions who I know came from the "sunbelt," Anthony Thomas and Denard are the only two that come to mind right off the top of my head.  The Midwest guys I could think of have already been covered, except Willie Heston.

Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure Anthony Carter was from Florida.

Denard was the same size as Reggie Bush but faster (Bush might have been faster, but I'm not looking it up).

You have clearly never…

You have clearly never pulled a muscle.

In all due respect, it is a…

In all due respect, it is a two-way street.  I'll do better when they do better.  I'll pay the business, which is the athletic department, when they hire more talented staff and stop burying their heads in the sand regarding NIL.

In some ways, it's already…

In some ways, it's already worse than the combat sports pay-per-view system.

They had nothing to do with…

The NCAA had nothing to do with the BCS, but USC's 2004 BCS National Title was vacated.  The CFP is just a rebranded BCS.

The four-letter network is…

The four-letter network is either ignorant or naive, and it's why their programming and network have turned to shit.  But in negotiations, when more than one person knows all the details, someone will talk.  Good negotiators know how to work a deal, and great negotiators know how to find the people who will speak if given proper motivation.  There's a better chance that Fox Sports and NBC have copies of all of ESPN's agreements before they were even signed than them being a "trade secret."

I would buy tickets to watch…

I would buy tickets to watch Michigan play an away game in Green Bay.

To be clear, I don't mind…

To be clear, I don't mind the Big Boy statue; I agree that I would like it more if they gave it a better paint job.  It was the first thing that came to mind, and I couldn't find a photo of the Meijer ads in the concourses.

"And then we got a noodle…

"And then we got a noodle. And then that AD got canned." then Learfield took over advertising and the number of advertisements inside the stadium has increased every year.

Scheduling a game at Hawaii…

Scheduling a game at Hawaii for Week 0 gives you 13 regular season games.  Which would make it a little more realistic.

Can we just go back to the …

Can we just go back to the "Whose that" and they turn into two and done.  Instead of whatever it is we are doing now.

All I see right now is a bunch of individuals playing individual ball.  Every single late-game collapse this year has been because everyone on the team thinks they must win it alone.

Lately, all the Michigan …

Lately, all the Michigan "insiders" have a better chance of finding Bigfoot doing the cha-cha in a UFO than providing reliable information!  So, the lack of information is a welcomed or unwelcomed silence depending on how you look at it.

Yeah, unfortunately if…

Yeah, unfortunately if recent history is any indication they will be getting raises from other teams.

We should either lead by…

We should either lead by example or sit this one out.

Fast forward to now, if you…

Fast forward to now, if you want to add the backflip knockout, you'll have to keep buying packs and hoping you get lucky.

If an insider is reporting…

If an insider is reporting this, based on the last month, I feel pretty confident he's not in the portal 😜🤔

What about Road to Glory? I…

What about Road to Glory? I couldn't care less about Ultimate Team or any other pay-to-win game.

Harbaugh was the first to…

Harbaugh was the first to say athletes should be allowed to transfer once without sitting out and called out the hypocrisy of some players getting waivers and some not.  That eventually led to enough public outrage the NCAA created the transfer portal.

Then he said the players should be paid.  They would not sit around this time and let that happen after the last time he rocked the boat.
