Ed Warrinner with a prophetic offer? Without any other objective or subjective opinion on this, I am choosing to say - absolutely!
May he be the next Michigan 1st round tackle draft pick...
January 12th, 2019 at 10:21 PM ^
Next after any combination of Jalen Mayfield, Trente Jones and Trevor Keegan.

WARINNER
War + inner = Warinner
Seriously.
WTF is with M fans not correctly spelling the name of our OL coach who had such a tremendously positive impact on our OL?
January 13th, 2019 at 7:13 AM ^
It's a losing battle. People still write Jake Ruddock, Ty Issac, etc.
January 13th, 2019 at 12:25 PM ^
Disrespekt
January 13th, 2019 at 1:45 PM ^
I dunno, Chick, what do you suppose the problem is?
January 12th, 2019 at 7:47 PM ^
That is one huge kid
January 12th, 2019 at 7:56 PM ^
Have another helping of spuds, Mackenzie!
January 12th, 2019 at 8:23 PM ^
O ...if I could only upvote AND downvote the same post :)
January 12th, 2019 at 11:22 PM ^
I've seen him - his listed height/weight are legit (or really close).
January 12th, 2019 at 7:47 PM ^
That’s a big dude.
January 12th, 2019 at 7:54 PM ^
Tathan
January 12th, 2019 at 8:34 PM ^
Certainly no one will confuse him with little Man Tate- former(?) osu QB...
January 12th, 2019 at 8:38 PM ^
No, he's not Tathan...
January 12th, 2019 at 7:59 PM ^
Living not far from Lincoln, I can check out some of these games next season.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:22 PM ^
We'll see about this one. A kid that size is obviously still in need of growing into his body. Huge kid. Not much flexibility. Thunder feet.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:25 PM ^
Seems like M is after a lot of these 6'8" guys
January 12th, 2019 at 8:49 PM ^
Yeah. There's still a 6'8", 315 lb. in-state kid unsigned in the 2019 class with a Michigan offer: Walled Lake Western's Jacob Dean.
January 12th, 2019 at 9:06 PM ^
This dude? https://twitter.com/jake_dean_70?lang=en
Profile says he's committed to...Lawrence Tech. Which seems strange if he actually has the offers his 247 profile claims.
January 12th, 2019 at 9:14 PM ^
No offense to the young man, but isn’t Lawrence Tech one of those schools like Northwood where you go to play when you can’t qualify for other schools?
January 12th, 2019 at 9:41 PM ^
Northwood is in the GLIAC which is Division 2...Think Ferris St or Grand Valley. Lawrence Tech is a brand new program playing NAIA. Northwood is a much higher caliber
January 12th, 2019 at 11:04 PM ^
Lawrence Tech is in Southfield, on the other side of the freeway from where I work. They haven't had a football program for very long. It was a commuter school that built dorms recently for some reason.
January 13th, 2019 at 12:48 PM ^
They probably built dorms so students could live there.
You're welcome.
January 12th, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
6'8" 315? Sounds like he's the wall. That town is flooding when he leaves.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:27 PM ^
January 12th, 2019 at 8:27 PM ^
Being from Ypsi, maybe the kid is craving an offer from EMU? Trying not to get my hopes up too high.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:29 PM ^
Isn’t Lincoln the school that the #1 freshman b-ball recruit goes to (for now). He is also 6’8. What the hell do they feed those kids!?
January 12th, 2019 at 8:34 PM ^
Haab's chicken(s) in the basket(s)
January 12th, 2019 at 9:04 PM ^

January 12th, 2019 at 11:53 PM ^
BWAWAWAWAWAWAWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
January 12th, 2019 at 11:05 PM ^
I always wondered if Haab's good was any good.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:51 PM ^
Emoni Bates, yeah.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:38 PM ^
Tate smash nuts!
January 12th, 2019 at 8:45 PM ^
Sounds good to me.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:52 PM ^
more agile than i expected
January 12th, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
How is he compared to Trey Leroux? He’s another 6’8 tackle from Ohio that has visited Michigan a couple times and he has a couple power 5 offers from Kentucky, Purdue, and West Virginia
January 12th, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
In state recruiting for Oline has been crazy talented lately
2019 5 star Logan Brown 4th ranked OT/ 5 star Devontae Dobbs 1st ranked OG
2020 5 Star Justin Rogers 1st ranked OG
2021 5 Star Garrett Dellinger OT 2nd OVERALL recruit / 5 Star Damon Payne 1st ranked OG/
Bonus 2021 5 star Rocco Spindler DT 10th overall
Sadly Notre Dame and Ohio State current leaders for all of these in state 5 stars except Damon Payne but he's from Bellville and they don't seem too fond of us at the moment.
Seems to me that the talent in Michigan high school football is improving a lot. 2020 and 2021 are looking like years Michigan really needs to protect the home turf in recruiting
January 12th, 2019 at 11:14 PM ^
So we need to fire up that go fund me?
January 13th, 2019 at 9:41 AM ^
That is not a good trend.
January 13th, 2019 at 3:30 PM ^
Absolutely have to get Dellinger and Spindler. They are teammates at Clarkston. Saw a video of Dellinger playing basketball and he is a very good athlete, very light on his feet. Spindler is the son of Mark Spindler who was a very good DT for the Lions in the Spielman era. I believe the elder Spindler went to Pitt.
January 12th, 2019 at 10:10 PM ^
Allen Trieu over on the 247 page is saying that this may have been a jumping of the gun on the saying it was an offer because Sam is hearing it is an offer contingent on him being able to do a couple of things including changing his body a bit.
Apparently he has some bad weight on his frame and that is something that needs to change before he can be considered ansything more than a project

Little Man Tate

Damn, he’s already gained 5 lbs since the thread was started.
January 13th, 2019 at 12:52 AM ^
Really needs to grow into his body, but the aggressiveness and the lil extra after each play is there.
January 13th, 2019 at 5:36 PM ^
That we’ve made it this far into the thread without a Maizening is almost a miracle.
January 14th, 2019 at 1:18 AM ^
He's big. And it looks like he plays hard. But those feet are not nimble.
