11/13/2018 - 10:41am HOLY FUCKING SHIT...there is…

HOLY FUCKING SHIT...there is some real issues in the OSU program, there are some issues with the family of the player in question and there are some real issues with this whole crazy ass tale.

https://247sports.com/college/louisville/Article/Purdue-Jeff-Brohm-comments-on-Louisville-coaching-vacancy-124630866/

brohm is already being asked about it, and though he is giving a coach speak answer it seems as though there is a lot of backing to this claim and I wouldn't be surprised if things move pretty quick when Purdues season is over

11/04/2018 - 3:36pm along with this is the…

along with this is the meltdown that is going on over at bucknuts. there a bunch of fans who want urban gone because hes loosing his touch and they dont want him around if he isn't going to perform when it comes to recruiting. they think that they should have a top 3 class every year that has no 3 stars in it and the fact that they are mostly 3 stars right now shows that urban has to go. its hilarious for me

10/28/2018 - 7:29pm this is one of those …

this is one of those "Michigan fans aren't happy if they aren't happy" thing. Also if this is what those fans are going to say then they need to also stop saying that "winning is going to change things" because the team is now winning and looking good doing so. there is nothing that will make some fans happy no matter what it is.

10/26/2018 - 12:45pm people in montana also do…

people in montana also do this for University of Montana. they call it "the U" and its really weird to me as a sports fan to hear that be used to describe the school.

10/13/2018 - 11:18pm he played at least a few…

he played at least a few plays early in the game, was the lone back on two play action fakes as I recall

10/11/2018 - 3:45pm you should read what Steve…

you should read what Steve Lorenz had to say about this topic. the school and the player agreed that a later visit was better. The player is uncertain about playing in the cold the school is going to have him up for a game when it is colder to show him that it is not that bad. they are going to show him all the great things no matter when he gets here. He also is reportedly rescheduling in part because of his grandmother and making sure that she is able to make the trip to see the school with the rest of his family. which is a good thing because she has been a big part of him wanting to stay close to home

If you can photo shop... apologizing for dummies by urban Meyer on one of those yellow and black book covers

09/28/2018 - 11:34am there are lots of studies…

there are lots of studies out there on this. you work hard to build up the muscles of the leg that the ACL was torn in while sometimes neglecting the other leg. that can lead to instability of the other leg. It can also be due to over compensation, the player works hard to protect the knee that the ACL was torn in, so the other knee takes a lot of brunt of the cuts and movements, like twists and turns, and therefore is at a higher risk. it is not 100% that the other ACL will tear, it just kinda happens

09/22/2018 - 11:42am whats crazy is one insider…

whats crazy is one insider says hes going to stay blue, the next doesn't know, then one guy from Michigan cant get ahold of him so thats a negative, then the next guy says he gets back to him almost immediately. taking visits isn't the end of the commitment but its not a good thing. I dont know whats going to happen but all I know is he is a good player who is doing a good thing with donations for each TD he scores. no matter what he decides to do with his collegiate path hes already doing good things on and off the field

09/22/2018 - 11:38am watching that and seeing…

watching that and seeing what is going on with protecting the QB in the NFL I really cannot believe that wasnt called. it seems like protecting the "defenseless" players only matters part of the time. If things were going different in the game I bet it would have been called

09/20/2018 - 6:21pm if it truly was a sports…

if it truly was a sports hernia (which is not a comfortable feeling when they happen) it can be shorter than 6 weeks depending on the size of the tear and the location. I had two smaller separate tears repaired at one time in my football career that started to feel comfortable after about 3/4 weeks. if hes able to feel good and get running and explosive movements I dont think he will miss the game between Michigan and OSU

09/19/2018 - 11:41am Breaking New: Urban Meyer…

Breaking New: Urban Meyer has always been a shitty person who cares more about winning than anything else

09/17/2018 - 10:17pm in the article a "source"…

in the article a "source" tells Lorenz that the chances of him going to Michigan are better than the crystal ball shows. so there is that

09/17/2018 - 9:54pm didnt he get suspended for…

didnt he get suspended for the 1st game there too? first time he was eligible to see the field and wasnt even able to get out there.

09/15/2018 - 7:39pm I saw this too and then went…

I saw this too and then went what in the world, that seems like out of nowhere but he has been to Georgia a few times and has scheduled an official visit there (as well as OSU, Michigan, and PSU) so maybe this is one of those picks where someone is just trying to get "ahead" of the curve and get lots of points for a right pick later on.

09/13/2018 - 7:18pm did you read what his…

did you read what his parents had to say? did you actually read what he had to say? they are definitely not just going somewhere to go somewhere. if that were the case would you really go to Michigan in September, or the U or USC/UCLA. you could go to somewhere nice, have a good weekend in the sun and be done with it. They told him not to commit to a school this summer because he was being pressured by the coaching staff at that school.

09/12/2018 - 11:32am this is what I thought as…

this is what I thought as well when I read that he was going to wait. Michigan may have told him to wait because he seems like he was and is ready to pull the trigger this weekend on his official visit. If hes going to wait that long then maybe the coaching staff is going to wait to see what other targets do with their recruitments and then fall back to Ellis if needed.

09/09/2018 - 8:29pm It’s OK that you don’t get…

It’s OK that you don’t get Twitter. Sam was replying to the commitment  post from a kid who was announcing it on Twitter. The original post could’ve said per every Michigan reporter on Twitter but they just used Sams post as the baseline.

07/14/2018 - 3:33pm The thing about this is it’s…

The thing about this is it’s going to sting to watch him go to OSU and have to play him but a lot of analysts think he’s less likely to be a 1-and-done than most 5 stars are. Also he measured in at the 18u national team event at like 5’11 which seems weird considering he’s listed at 6’2 on most sites. I just think the recruiting miss is more about two seasons away compared to the coming year

06/20/2018 - 3:52pm Sure enough this caught the…

Sure enough this caught the attention of Dixon who had something to say about the commitment. Dixon’s reply also got a comment from Hinton that said come join us. So it’s all in motion just sit back and wait hahahahaha

04/06/2018 - 6:30pm numbers look great but unless

numbers look great but unless he can prove that he can put it on the floor, guard an athlete on the perimeter, create his own shot, and other things i dont think he ends up with a spot in the class unless there is a drastic change in the amount of open scholarships

03/01/2018 - 3:44pm Iowa is shooting over 55% in

Iowa is shooting over 55% in the game right now. thats a pretty good day in the gym if you consider the season they have had up to this point

02/27/2018 - 6:32pm Same said this morning that

Sam Webb said this morning that he felt that michigan was and still is chasing Texas, so I am going to go ahead and put in my crystal ball for the Texas Longhorns

02/27/2018 - 6:10pm If I am reading that clearly

If I am reading that clearly I think they are saying that it would cause teams to spread out their interior defensive strategy/player placement more like the 3-second rule does in the NBA game.

02/22/2018 - 6:59pm if michigan would be like

if michigan would be like those schools down south otis would be coming to michigan and his mom would have a place to live just outside ann arbor so she could come to the big house to see one son play or go to CMU to see the other play.

02/21/2018 - 6:08pm I’m sure hoping for Trente

I’m sure hoping for Trente Jones. He’s got CBS to Michigan in the last hour and they are both from southern guys, one who is a Georgia reporter. Seemed to enjoy his visit the other day too so would not be shocked in the least if he pulled the trigger.

02/15/2018 - 11:36am grier played for WVU, who is

grier played for WVU, who is in the Big 12, where they throw the ball at least 35 times a game, and the defenses of those teams are usually not very good. Now if he can complete 64% of passes that is something that I think most fans would be happy with, but comparing stats from grier at WVU to what Patterson does at michigan would be a little egregious

02/07/2018 - 11:15am this one hurts due to the

this one hurts due to the length of the commitment and the optimism that was surrounding the player coming here for so long. as much as some people hated it, one thing hoke did well was hold on to the guys he wanted. If you wanted to come to michigan and you committed to the school you werent visiting another school dozens of times before "deciding" between the school you were committed to and that other school.

02/07/2018 - 11:07am this is something that doesnt

this is something that doesnt really shock me but what does is the way that they were his last official, and it took to the end of the cycle for it to be well known that Schiano was his lead recruiter and NPF is friends with his kids. It seems like all along he was just blowing smoke when he was "playing it close to the vest" something about this just screams he knew all along.

01/31/2018 - 2:18pm you know there are lots of

you know there are lots of guys that go to alabama, get drafted early in the draft then have underwhelming careers in the pros yet kids still go there to win. getting to the league is the goal but youre going to get the most exposure every year by winning in those college games.

01/31/2018 - 10:49am and he was also one of the

and he was also one of the people that got a text from Jarrett saying that he was eliminating michigan from contention and that he wouldnt be doing any more interviews with michigan reporters. One thing with brandon is he spills the beans quickly and doesnt vet and keep things close to the vest.

01/30/2018 - 1:10pm this is what wisconsin still

this is what wisconsin still does to this day. they have had 3 or 4 guys drafted into the NFL who were walk on starters/contributers plus other guys who were very servicable players in the last couple years from their walk on program

01/30/2018 - 9:48am this is not a "jersey" as in

this is not a "jersey" as in something that would go over shoulder pads and be worn on saturdays. this looks like the t-shirts that the guys are wearing to workout in per the 6am tweet from the university's football twitter page this morning. those contain numbers and last names on the back of them, so maybe he will change numbers till the time for games come and things start to clear up

01/29/2018 - 10:48am even if you dont follow the

even if you dont follow the recruits if you follow the michigan guys that are all over twitter, they follow the recruit, recruit says/posts/likes/shows something on the recruits personal timeline and the michigan "insider" quotes it or retweets it and boom it pops up on your timeline.

01/24/2018 - 9:29pm no obsession here, I am a

no obsession here, I am a rams fan as well and when i saw the news decided to share with the group because i know a lot of people hoped that the longer it took for him to get a job the more it could mean he ended up back here.

01/24/2018 - 11:07am If youre talking about damien

If youre talking about damien harris, the running back who was once committed to michigan youre just slightly off on how big he was listed at coming at of high school. he was listed at 5'11 and 205 pounds, just about the same size as barrett.

najee harris is a different breed of guy though, damien harris is quuick with some power as opposed to the physically dominating presence that najee harris is

01/22/2018 - 7:17pm I think this is like the high

I think this is like the high end version of "its always 5 o'clock somewhere"

01/21/2018 - 6:31pm DT was a luxury in this class

DT was a luxury in this class in all honesty, then in the next class you already have chris hinton committed. In this class it would have been nice to add a guy like rick sandidge or mike thompson but they didnt get them, and compound that with the fact that tyler friday went to the arch enemy after recruiting him for approx. 3 years it just seems worse. guard seems to be set with the last couple classes and the position switches , that not taking one in this class would not be the worst problem that the class faces.

01/21/2018 - 5:14pm I said somethign similar to

I said somethign similar to this in another thread where they cant play 11 dbs all at the same time.

01/21/2018 - 4:32pm possibilities is literally

possibilities is literally what im accounting for with the take a bunch of guys and hope some of the large group fill all the positions at some point or another. you cant have enough depth but you also cant sacrifice the depth at one position to have an over abundance at another

01/21/2018 - 3:07pm i dont get the adding of

i dont get the adding of another DB in this class when we lost nobody from last year who were contributors in the defensive backfield and loaded up the year before. it seems like something where the staff is going to take a bunch of guys in every class and hope that someone can play at least one of the 4/5 posititons

01/11/2018 - 2:59pm defender swipes down, hits

defender swipes down, hits the arm and ball then on the rip through of the swing he grabs on to matthews forarm/wrist. that is where the foul should be called as there is clear contact with matthews' forearm

01/05/2018 - 7:22pm he was rumored to be the guy

he was rumored to be the guy that was going to be taking over the OC spot at mizzou

01/05/2018 - 12:14pm I liked that there were

I liked that there were people who told me that wanting the linement to be stronger so they can blow other teams off he ball every play and not just once in a while was stupd and that i obviously didnt wtch the gamers cause we could run the ball against the likes of rutgers and maryland. i want a guy who is going to put it on the players to win at the line and this is something that happens on teams where players and systems dont work together. every year teams all over the country have true freshmen/redshirt freshmen/ true sophomores starting and doing well, it just seems like soemthing needs to be done.

01/01/2018 - 5:11pm drevno needs to go too. on

drevno needs to go too. on oline coach clling plays when the offensive line is terrible just makes no freakin' sense. he can barely get the couple of guys hes in charge of to do the right thing let alone have run over the whole offense. it just needs to be a huge change

01/01/2018 - 5:08pm I will keep saying that the

I will keep saying that the team is going to go nowhere if they can not sit back there and blow the other teams off the ball. they cant run the ball and they can barely pass protect at a level that makes a qb feel like he can stand back there and take his time and make throws and reads that need to be made to make good decisions. the offense needs to spread teams out more and that will create more running lanes and make things easier to bock when you have 6 guys to block 6 defenders. it just seems like all the teams that win lots of games do this with their offense and do it succesfully. they are then able to get the ball to their athletes in space and allow them to make plays on the move, where michigan throws the ball to recievers in good coverage or when they are standing still and that doesnt allow them to make plays when the ball is in their hands.

01/01/2018 - 4:57pm this is something i have

this is something i have wondered as well. the thing is that they all played behind the same o-line. the line has been absolutely awful and it is something that has just baffled me as a fan. i know playing offensive line is something that can be tough but it shouldnt be that bad especially with guys that have played so many games. it seemed like they never got better even as the year went on.

01/01/2018 - 4:38pm who do they get rid of? is it

who do they get rid of? is it pep, drevno, jay, or some combo of those guys. they let jedd get away, they let wheatley get away, seems like frey is going to leave. to me seems like a time to clean house on the offensive side of the ball and get some people in there who can run an offense that is something that isnt what we have going right now

12/30/2017 - 5:59pm sure being as they mentally

sure being as they mentally had lapses at what seemed like a higher frequency then anticipated they still didnt drive teams off the ball. in their loses they average 2.6 with a long of 12, 2.4 with a long of 14, 1.6 with a long of 12, and 2.8 with a long of 24. its just the fact they didnt seem to blow the good teams off the line. maybe its something that is technique and not strength but i think that it wouldnt hurt to be stronger along the offensive front
