According to Kenpom Villanova had gone 106 games straight without a double digit loss until tonight

The Michigan fan in me hopes he goes 1st round

The Lions fan in me is hoping he falls to the Lions in the 2nd round

11/14/2018 - 5:21pm Love how high Bush and…

Love how high Bush and Winovich are getting in these mocks

I know Gary doesn't really have the production numbers that make you think Top 10 draft pick, but once NFL scouts see him at the combine I don't see any way he drops out of the Top 10

11/14/2018 - 1:22am I think this is going to get…

I think this is going to get ugly. 20-30 point loss

Novas offense is on fire and our offense is currently a dumpster fire. Our defense can only hold Nova back so much.

If we were to win we would need Poole to actually show out like we all expected him to this year which he hasn't yet

11/12/2018 - 10:45pm I agree. Evans has his…

I agree. Evans has his moments like he breaks a big run occasionally but other than that he doesn't gain much each run. Tru is a hard runner and pass blocks better than any RB on the team

I do like Evans catching passes though. He is VERY good and elusive in open space

11/12/2018 - 10:40pm For starters I was as high…

For starters I was as high as anybody on Samuels when he was coming in and still think he will become a good RB so you can drop the defensive bullshit

In his limited time he hasn't shown he can provide anything this year. We have Tru, Evans, and Mason who we still need to prep for bigger games

You can tell if a player is ready or not based off of limited carries. Tru came in this year and you immediately knew he would be a contributor after only a few carries. Turner came in and you could tell he is going to be a good RB in the future. Samuels hasn't shown that yet. As I said he has the elite speed and is an athletic freak but he cant find the holes yet

11/12/2018 - 3:06pm Brohm just said that its NOT…

Brohm just said that its NOT a dream of his to coach at Louisville so this is most likely not happening

11/12/2018 - 3:04pm We have Higdon, Evans, Tru,…

We have Higdon, Evans, Tru, and Mason getting carries. He has a lot of people ahead of him and Samuels hasn't exactly impressed when he does get runs

He has elite speed but he never showcases it because he cant break through the line. I hope he can learn to find the holes better

11/06/2018 - 3:17am Zach Harrison is looking…

Zach Harrison is looking like an 80% Michigan lean. Even OSU fans are basically believing hes coming to Michigan. Harrison is a once in a generational talent. He was pegged as their next "Bosa". Would be as big of a recruiting win as ever for Michigan to pluck such talent out of Ohio

Hinton, Dax, Mazi, Harrison, Turner, Thomas.....mayyyyybe add in Crouch. Don Brown would be in heaven.

11/06/2018 - 3:10am I have to imagine Rutger…

I have to imagine Rutger football boards are ghost towns. This dude probably talks to himself on there

I bet all that stress from his cover up scandal really did a number on his health. Basically self inflicted

James Franklin has never beat a ranked team on the road

We got this

10/26/2018 - 9:43am You're tripping

The only…

You're tripping

The only way michigan wins out yet still gets snubbed is if LSU beats alabama. An LSU win over bama is probably enough for the committee to choose LSU over michigan

We NEED Alabama to win out

Clemson and Notre dame are likely to win out. So Clemson alabama and Notre dame are near locks.

10/26/2018 - 9:41am I dont really care if were…

I dont really care if were 4th or 5th or 2nd

If we win out we should be in. The only way I think we could get snubbed is if Clemson, Notre dame, and LSU win out because Bama is in even if they lose to LSU and an LSU upset win over Bama would likely keep them ahead of us

10/26/2018 - 9:36am Just expect it to happen so…

Just expect it to happen so it wont be saddening

We have Charbonnet who is nearly a 5 star elite back and we have Giles Jackson who is a studly playmaker.

We will be all good if he does decommit

10/25/2018 - 3:19pm Right I want global warming…

Right I want global warming so I can golf year round but if it helps with Michigan recruiting too then Im all for it. Its the reason I bought a diesel truck and why I spray a can of hair spray into the air every night before bed

10/25/2018 - 3:05pm Crouch is ranked as an…

Crouch is ranked as an Athlete. He is a RB but theres rumors he wants to play LB because he likes to hit

6'2 230lbs

5 star/ #2 Athlete/ #28 Nationally

10/25/2018 - 3:00pm Agreed

And if you look at…

Agreed

And if you look at Super Bowl champs of the past few decades basically ALL of them are cold weather teams. If he wants to have a long winning career beyond college then he better get used to cold weather

10/25/2018 - 2:56pm Im not really getting my…

Im not really getting my hopes up for Crouch.

I bet he goes to Clemson but with Alabama's bagmen getting a crack at him I wouldn't be surprised if he last second committed to them

Can you imagine getting Hinton, Dax, Harrison, and Crouch on defense? Fuck thatd be epic. Add in guys like Mazi, Turner, Thomas, and Ojabo…...Don Brown would be in heaven

10/25/2018 - 8:44am I agree that PSU shouldnt be…

I agree that PSU shouldnt be a big threat because they just dont have the same level of talent, BUT Franklin has some sort of grudge against Harbaugh for 2016 and their game against Michigan is basically going to be their super bowl. PSU is going to give us all they've got

10/25/2018 - 8:37am True but I say we enjoy this…

True but I say we enjoy this michigan playoff talk. It's nice to see michigan in the conversation for possibly being the biggest threat to Bama

10/25/2018 - 8:35am In order for a team to beat…

In order for a team to beat Bama I think they have to be able to put 40 points on the board against their defense. No matter how good Michigans defense is Bama will still put up AT LEAST 30+.

I think Michigans defense is setup as well as anybodies to go against Bama but I dont think we could score enough points. Power run game wont work against them to put up enough points to beat them. Harbaugh would have to commit to airing it out all game long and hoping it works.

Hopefully by seasons end some team like Georgia or LSU gives everyone a template on how to hang with Bama because right now they seem unstoppable

We really need Bama to win out though. Bama losing to say LSU could easily fuck us out of a playoff spot

10/22/2018 - 8:25pm Not sure why people are…

Not sure why people are questioning the legitimacy of the post. Chris Balas and Hudsons mom said it was happening so its happening

I think were cured at Oline. REALLY SUCKS considering coaches said Hudson was a 1st round talent

10/22/2018 - 12:50am DPJ is so good. He is soooo…

DPJ is so good. He is soooo gooooodd

We need to target him downfield numerous times per game ESPECIALLY against OSU. He has the speed to create separation on deep routes nearly every time

10/17/2018 - 11:21pm Gary at 5 seems high based…

Gary at 5 seems high based on his production but you have to take into account the combine. NFL GMs seem to value the combine tremendously and we all know Rashan Gary is going to put on a fucking show

Gary gets in the Top 10 based on his combine alone

10/16/2018 - 12:55pm Most mocks ive seen had Gary…

Most mocks ive seen had Gary around #10

Remember a huge part of draft positioning is the combine and Gary is an athletic freak who will blow the combine out of the water. Im very excited to see what numbers Garys posts

10/16/2018 - 12:50pm Everything is falling into…

Everything is falling into place for Michigan to make the CFP. Cant afford any hiccups leading up the Game. With Bosa out I feel the playing field is extremely level. OSU will still have the major homefield advantage though

Hope we can keep things going in the right direction and Beat State

10/15/2018 - 11:08pm MD has some incredible knack…

MD has some incredible knack for causing opposing teams to play down to MSUs level. Its like teams ignore their strengths on offense and play into MSU's strengths on defense. This always results in some shitty low scoring slugfest

MSU's secondary isn't good. For some reason Franklin decided not to attack their secondary in the 1st hald even though his QB is McSorely, one of the best deep ball throwers in college. By the time PSU started trying to go deep they had already fell right into MD's gameplan.

Harbaugh should use the exact offensive game plan against MSU that he did against Wiscy. Have Shea spread the ball around right away and get him going. Start by ploughing Higdon up the middle and eventually rushing him outside. Throw in a couple Shea runs

I think we'll be fine. I expect a 17 or more point win and Im not one of those typical UM fans who always expects some unrealistic blow out of MSU. I really think there is a wide disparity between UM and MSU on both sides of the ball

10/15/2018 - 10:59pm Pretty sure Peters lost his…

Pretty sure Peters lost his 3rd string role when he came in against Nebraska and threw an INT. It was kind of sickening seeing him play as it briefly reminded me of how horrible it was to watch our QBs last year

10/15/2018 - 10:52pm Fox College Football twitter…

Fox College Football twitter released a video of their Top 5 defensive players so far this season. Chase Winovich came in at #1.

This has nothing to do with Draft status, just pure production. Winovich is arguably he best run stopper in the country

10/15/2018 - 5:47am I think Harrison's…

I think Harrison's commitment comes down to The Game, OSU vs Michigan. If Michigan wins Harrison is ours. If Michigan loses in a close game its a toss up. If OSU blows us out Harrison stays home

Wiltfongs crystal balls are suspect. Look at his prediction page. He changes his predictions in the final hours ALL THE TIME. A crystal ball month(s) before Harrisons commitment is relatively useless as Wiltfong will just change them last minute whenever he gets confirmation of where the recruit is going

I trust guys crystal balls close to our program like Lorenz, Ace, Webb, etc

10/12/2018 - 7:18pm If Michigan wins out then I…

If Michigan wins out then I think we land him. If Michigan stumbles to Wisconsin or MSU then we definitely wont get him.

10/11/2018 - 9:47pm LOL WOOPS

Ok technically…

LOL WOOPS

Ok technically his draft stock was still most likely improved even though he was a 5th rounder. I doubt teams would've drafted him any higher than the 5th before his breakout final year

I was going by what his draft stock was (1st-2nd round) before his heart issue came into play

10/11/2018 - 9:44pm Yep. We have the biggest…

Yep. We have the biggest crowds in college football yet no real home field advantage because of those people.

Imagine how insane our homefield advantage would be if all 100,000+ were on their feet cheering like they do at Kinnick or during PSU whiteouts

10/11/2018 - 8:11pm Harbaugh and Co really need…

Harbaugh and Co really need to make something of this season with all this NFL talent they have on defense.

2016's defense has 11 players in the NFL right now. Wormley, Glasgow, Hurst, Charlton, Gedeon, Lewis, Stribling, Clark, Peppers, Thomas, and Hill

This years defense is about to have 3 1st rounders in Gary, Bush, and Winovich. Watson, Long, and Hill will also have the opportunity to be drafted

We gotta achieve something with all this talent we have

10/11/2018 - 8:06pm Mo Hurst and now Winovich…

Mo Hurst and now Winovich both drastically improving their draft position after returning for another year. Guess this means Gary and Bush have no choice but to return for their senior years

10/11/2018 - 12:24am This can mean a lot or it…

This can mean a lot or it can mean nothing. Now a days Twitter is a pretty good place to get a feel for what recruits are thinking. They drop hints all the time. Its also a place where recruits like to fuck with fans and get their hopes up for their own sick twisted pleasure and need for attention.

Jalen Perry, former Georgia commit, is visiting for the Wisconsin game. He just decommitted from Georgia so its a good sign that were his first visit after decommitting

Dj Turner, Charles Thomas, and Hinton are trying to recruit Nolan Smith to Michigan. He's a Georgia commit though and #2 recruit in the nation. Georgias bagmen would throw everything they could at Smith to keep him committed to Georgia

This isn't like a Sam Webb "gut feeling" or anything. Just something to watch for people who are deeply interested in recruiting

10/10/2018 - 11:57pm Also, 2020 QB Harrison…

...

10/10/2018 - 11:29pm This is a pretty interesting…

This is a pretty interesting chain of tweets: https://twitter.com/djturner_2019/status/1050205811866300416

So 4 star Jalen Perry, recently decommitted from Georgia, is visiting for the Wisconsin game. He tweets it.

Then, Commit DJ Turner retweets it and Nolan Smith (5 star Georgia commit #2 in the nation) replies "Dang no invite". Nolan Smith and Chris Hinton have been making suggestive comments about Smith flipping. Could just be BS. Worst case scenario could be Hinton and Nolan knowing Hinton is flipping to UGA as Hinton visited UGA recently so theyre fucking with us

Dj Turner replies "You always gotta invite"

Nolan Smith tweets "GA to...." which is usually GA to AA

So long story short we have a clusterfuck of highly rated Georgia boys all discussing Michigan. If we could somehow pull off Jalen Perry and Nolan Smith while retaining Dax Hill and Hinton.....man oh man would this be the strongest defensive class in my lifetime. I don't see us pulling off Zach Harrison but if you throw him in there then were talking about one of the best defensive classes of ALL TIME regardless of school. One can dream I guess

09/26/2018 - 10:59pm Not sure how to feel about…

Not sure how to feel about this. On one hand he did bring a title to Cleveland. On the other hand he only did it because of a homegrown once in a generational talent

And I cant believe theres actually some nimrods in here supporting the Fords ownership of the Lions. Martha needs to sell. Worst ran sports franchise in the US

09/20/2018 - 1:44am Righhhhhhhttttttt

Michigan,…

Righhhhhhhttttttt

Michigan, a team that has struggled mightily with Oline, did not want a composite 5 star OT. And before you pull the "Michigan scouts know more than recruiting experts" bullshit, Dobbs was offered by Alabama, Auburn, USC, OSU, MSU, Clemson, Florida, FSU, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, and Wisconsin just to name a few. Im pretty sure if all of those schools, especially the Wisconsins and Bamas who know talent when it comes to Oline, wanted him then he is good

They screwed the pooch on this one. Dobbs said he didn't want to go to Michigan because he didn't feel a connection or comfortable with the coaches. I believe he referred to them as Robots. No need to lie and say Michigan didn't want him

09/20/2018 - 1:03am Not gonna lie I was hoping…

Not gonna lie I was hoping we'd get to see a 1-2 punch of Tru and Samuels but obviously im happy Higdon is back. Samuels is really intriguing with his speed.

I do think Tru is better than Evans if given the same playing time. Tru is very solid in pass pro and a hard runner. Tru runs straight, Evans dances a lot.

Against SMU Evans was ATROCIOUS in short yardage situations. Absolutely horrible.

09/20/2018 - 12:59am Obviously id love to have…

Obviously id love to have Cine and Dax but I always get nervous when we get two highly rated commits who play the same position. I know theres FS and SS so both could play at the same time, but im sure many kids don't want super stiff competition so it always makes me worry about one of them then decommitting to go play where they are 100% guaranteed a starting spot. Just me being overly nervous as usual tho

09/20/2018 - 12:56am No I didn't because Harrison…

No I didn't because Harrison is a smart kid who has his twitter set to private

But for real Dax, then Cine, then Harrison PLUS Hinton? Add in Mazi who is a solid 4 star, Ojabo who has untapped potential, Charles Thomas who is underrated, DJ Turner who was wanted by basically every Powerhouse program...………..OH BABY

Right dere would be the best UM defensive class ever

09/20/2018 - 12:46am Oh shit I didn't know Dax…

Oh shit I didn't know Dax can play OT. Thank God Dax will solve the offensive line issues that have plagued the program for over a decade /s

09/20/2018 - 12:45am Yes it sucks we missed on…

Yes it sucks we missed on Dobbs, but it sucks even more we missed on Brown. Top 100 OT recruiting doesn't get much easier than in state.

This board doesn't want to hear it because we have recruited every position well except for the one we need most, OT. Apparently if you recruit well but miss important positions it is fine and shouldn't be discussed

Its almost as if you can be happy with the class but also not be happy with the team missing on highly ranked in state OTs.

09/18/2018 - 9:31pm Dax has 4.3 clocked speed…

Dax has 4.3 clocked speed. He was clocked at Nikes The Opening so its legit. He would've had the fastest 40 time at the NFL combine last year

One former NFL player compared Dax to Ed Reed the way he closes and hits.

Sorry for double posting but this is exciting!

09/18/2018 - 9:29pm WOW FUCK YES

I was not…

WOW FUCK YES

I was not expecting this when I checked out twitter

This is fucking huge. This guy is as elite of a secondary talent as it gets. Our Dline and Linebackers will always be good under Brown but whats been lacking is Safety. Get him to sign and we are SET for years a the position

09/18/2018 - 9:27pm Nico too. Nico was big…

Nico too. Nico was big because Harbaugh went IN TO Alabama and plucked him out of there.

I know he's not a 5 star (mid 4) but he's looking like he'll be a stud the next 1-2 seasons

09/14/2018 - 9:33am I'm surprised Adam Ghabour …

I'm surprised Adam Ghabour @qb9adam hasn't been listed yet

In 2017 he was basically doing it as a hobby yet was easily one of the best. Now hes working for some michigan news group but hes still solid. Hes definitely the most active michigan recruiting news guy on Twitter

Then there's the usual Lorenz, Webb, brown, dudek, etc
