Rumor on 247 supported by a Facebook post from his mom.

It’s FatGuy, not fatboy, asshole or dickhead. I stopped caring about UMBig’s contributions when someone asked how sure he was in one of his “insider” items and he said, “50/50.”

I can’t believe I am agreeing with Marcia, but she is right about Big11 engaging in ad hominems. That’s a sure sign that he knows he can’t defend his position so he just resorts to personal attacks.

I'm still waiting for the conference realignment that he said was happening on his airplane ride home with Scott Frost. Because as many people know, inside info is given to random people on an airplane. But the situation is very fluid, so thats why the conferences haven't realigned 2.5 years later, not because he was wrong though. Because it was very fluid.

Lmao there you go again being an emotional shit. What does my presumed size have to do with anything I posted? Any little bit of criticism and you turn into a pouty baby. Here's the thing dude, I get things change, and congrats on having Speight>JOK. I'm happy for you. But I also know plenty of what goes on inside a big time football program. I know for a 100% fact that when you posted last year that Peters was behind JOK because of an attitude issue in camp, that it was completely false. I know things are fluid. But you post out of your ass and let emotions get in the way, so god forbid I don't give a fuck that you're going to pout and stop posting on here.

I really don't understand why it is so hard for some to ignore posters if they don't like them.  It's really simple.  Yet some feel the need to criticize and make caustic remarks.

What's interesting is someone who claimed to be a family member posted on one of the threads Friday about Gary not making the trip to EL and Tarik playing was downvoted multiple times, despite being 100% correct.  The same crap happens on the M Facebook groups where player family members are hounded by idiots and they stop posting interesting insights.

I really don't get what some people's problem is.  If you don't think someone is credible, fine, ignore them.  I'm able to handle 90% correct and so are others.  If you want 100%, go to Schembechler Hall and see if they'll talk to you.  I don't imagine they entertain fools long there.

Yeah, however our company policy when we get negative insider news is to irritably stomp around while scouting for other sources who say the same and barking at loved ones while opening and closing the fridge at least 100 times without finding something in there to punish, so it takes awhile to get to the front page.

Not confirmed but seems like this might have legs. If true a pretty head scratching decision, he'd be right in the mix if not the favorite for the RT job after JBB graduates. Now he'd have to sit next year, so not play next year instead of potentially starting. But if he feels it's best for him, then he has to do what he has to do. Good luck to him.

OT should still be fine. Either put Runyan at RT and have Mayfield at LT, or if Stueber ends up being a legit option just stick him at RT. We also have Honigford as a 3rd year option, assuming that the 2 first year OTs and Hayes aren't options. It makes it that much more important to get Barnhart or Keegan in this class though.

Man this would really suck if true as he was probably a frontrunner to start next year. Timing is kind of unfortunate too. Big time win on the road against a rival and then this comes out the next day?!?

Hope this is just a bad rumor. A key word for some of these young men here is patience. Hudson is a RS Fr. The starting RT (JBB) is a RS Sr. Hudson has a very good chance of starting next year and for two years after that. Stick around James - good things just might happen for you. Same applies to Drew Singleton with Devin Bush probably going to the NFL. It seems like a lot of these so-called playing time transfers end up worse off at their destinations than if they had stuck around.

I agree with you but to play Devil's Advocate leaving early might give him some more time to visit other schools / allow coaches to start recruiting him similar to Kelly Bryant (former Clemson QB) doing what he is doing now. Still, I think he should've waited it out. Anything can happen in the next couple of weeks and he could've gotten more playing time.

Maybe, but I have a hard time buying it. With Singleton it makes sense. Ross and Gil as presumed starters, already behind Anthony it seems, McGrone a year younger but big recruiting profile and supposed to be Bush 2.0. That puts him 5th at a spot that plays 2, with 3 of the guys above him his year or younger. That makes sense to transfer out because of competition.

RT comes open next year with the second tackle spot the year after. Obviously offseason hype isn't everything, but he and Mayfield got the most hype out of young OL. We didn't hear much about Honigford or Stueber, and Hayes is a true freshman who probably needs 2 years just to get to a passable playing size (listed as a 6'7 271 TE on the roster, was 262 out of HS). I also don't think Hudson or the coaches have him behind incoming freshmen who are still in HS and aren't instant impact players.

The optimistic view is he was already behind Mayfield at LT and Stueber passed him at RT, hence Stueber coming off the bench after JBB on Saturday, and that caused the transfer. But that's ignoring the idea that Hudson was ahead of Stueber and transferred out for other reasons, or that he could have re-passed him over the spring/fall next year. Regardless, with him and Hall gone from last year's class, we're now down to 4 playable tackles for next year and that hurts depth.

Whether he transferred for personal or PT reasons, I won't fault him. He has to do what's best for him. I still think we'll be fine at tackle next year. But this hurts depth and limits our potential options in case someone doesn't pan out or gets injured. This isn't LB where depth is highly touted and high in numbers so I'm skeptical that he's already leaving because of depth chart issues. Unless he's fallen well behind Stueber/Mayfield, which is possible, but I don't really know if we have a reason to believe that beyond blind optimism.

Another guy who thinks he will play on Sunday and is convinced he shouldn't have to compete for a spot.  Lather, rinse, repeat....

If true, not only is he leaving what would be a golden opportunity to start next year, but he's leaving a Michigan education on the table. and also a potential run at a National Championship. Why? Because you got passed over one game due to an injury and may only be able to start 2 years instead of 3 at Michigan?

Hope this is all a joke and can be reversed, but if not, what a bonehead move.

Jesus.

No offensive tackles for you!

Hopefully someone talks him down. Dude was in line to be a multi year starter.

I wonder if this is a Mama Boucher scenario...possibly a tad overbearing, is more frustrated than her baby boy.

I hope cooler heads prevail. With a good run of practices thru the bye week he could easily see a ton of PT against IU and Rutger.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just his mom overreacting and Hudson does not transfer.

His mom's FB post seems like she's trying to sound nice like most transfers but there anger is pretty apparent.

Add that to him not announcing anything. Just seems weird.
