06/19/2018 - 2:08pm Yeah, the theatrics are what…

Yeah, the theatrics are what is ridiculous and Neymar is the worst offender in that department.  I don’t judge anyone for going down.  Sometimes when you are running full steam, a little shove can knock you over and it looks like a flop but it’s simply momentum that caused it.  I played for a while so I know how painful those cleats can be when even grazing you a little bit.  It’s the over the top dives and rolling around in writhing pain when you barely got touched that I hate.

06/19/2018 - 12:31pm Absolutely, Neymar is so…

Absolutely, Neymar is so good but is so so over the top with the flops.   He was fouled like crazy on Sunday but his after the foul theatrics were ridiculous.    Like when Lebron used to flip all over the place, these guys are too good to be doing that garbage.

I don’t have any real team to root for but as a city fan, there is a ton of my guys to root for.  I do hope Salah plays today.  Egypt isn’t half bad

06/06/2018 - 11:55am I have a 65 lg oled tv too. …

I have a 65 lg oled tv too.   Awesome picture.  Not sold as much on 4K as the picture on the Netflix 4K app is just slightly better.  But the reason I love this tv so much is the 3d quality. I know 3d isn’t as popular now, but I have amassed an incredible collection of 3d flicks, and the quality is better than the theatre personally.   If you can get a 2016 or 17 model you’ll be in heaven.

06/01/2018 - 3:38pm That was no charge,

That was no charge, ultimately the correct call. Lebron was still moving, never set and didn’t have position. I will add that even though I agree with the Call being overturned, it was highly highly suspect.

06/01/2018 - 3:33pm How far are we going back??

How far are we going back?? I distinctly remember Malone and Gary Payton going to LA for only one reason and one reason only. It’s not back in the 80’s or 90’s but what KD did isn’t unprecedented in any way.

05/31/2018 - 4:49pm Liverpool wasn’t unbeaten by

Liverpool wasn’t unbeaten by top teams. City beat them 5-0 in September, but Liverpool were certainly a foil for city the rest of the season and they were impressive throughout the champs league, but like united, they put all their eggs in the beat city basket that the next week after beating city, pool lost to Swansea and united lost to West Brom.

05/31/2018 - 12:11pm I agree. I don’t think it

I agree. I don’t think it would happen. I can’t see a guy like Klopp leaving if offered either.

05/31/2018 - 11:45am Leagues are always harder to

Leagues are always harder to win, that is why it would always be priority number 1 for me. UCL is a great tourney, but I could never put it ahead of the league.

05/31/2018 - 11:39am I’ve been hearing Sarri to

I’ve been hearing Sarri to Chelsea a lot too, would be a total contrast to their style also, but they would be fun to watch.

05/31/2018 - 11:21am I don’t know, if I was

I don’t know, if I was coaching, my first and foremost goal would be winning the league as it’s a sign of consistency and team strength over a course of a season. Champions league is great and it’s a hell of an achievement to win one, let alone multiple, but it requires form and luck to advance and win it. This years final was between a team that finished 3rd in La Liga 17 pts behind Barca, and a team that finished 4th 25 pts behind City in the EPL, hardly the two best teams in Europe, when they were miles off the pace in their own league.

05/31/2018 - 11:14am Smart move by Zidane. They

Smart move by Zidane. They will be in need of a major overhaul in the next few years with Ronaldo, Benz, Modric, Marcelo, Ramos and Bale all getting up there in age. Average age for them is 29.
This offseason should be interesting in the coaching world. Who will be appointed to real? Guti maybe, as he is along the Pep Guardiola track of coaching the youth side and is a galactico. Sarri from Napoli would be interesting but is a big shift tactically to what Madrid has been doing. Do they go to England and get Pochettino or maybe Conte? Who knows but it’ll be fun watching.

05/22/2018 - 10:58am Yes they did but context is

Yes they did but context is everything here. City played a weaker team, many of the stars didn’t play or were subbed very late. KDB, Aguero, Jesus, Walker, all didn’t start. The first 45 were complete domination, Sterling missed 2 sitters and should have gotten 2 pk’s But Atkinson was shockingly bad and missed some really bad calls, especially the no pk for Aguero where Young nearly took his leg off. The second half city took their foot off the gas and it cost them. United came to play in the second half though and they played very well. But in no way shape or form am I scared or worried about themnext year, especially with Jose as manager. Considering they were 19 points off the pace, they have a lot of work to do to catch us. I like our chances next year and yes I do think City at least their strongest 11 are light years ahead of united and I think if Liverpool can be consistent, we could have a title race.

05/21/2018 - 7:10pm As a city fan, I hope

As a city fan, I hope Liverpool beat real this weekend. It would be nice for an English team to win it. It's been a while. Good hire for arsenal and happy Arteta can continue to learn under Pep. City will get stronger with 1 or 2 top quality additions and look leaps and bounds better than the rest of the league. Only Liverpool can play with us, and they can't seem to find consistency in the league, so I think we repeat epl title.

05/17/2018 - 7:46pm I'm a huge man city fan and

I'm a huge man city fan and to a man, every player and Pep himself have nothing but the highest praise for Arteta. Fernandinho, who is 33 says that Arteta has helped him improved incredibly over the last 2 years. Plus he knows pep's style in and out. I think this is a great move by Arsenal.
Great news for my boys is that Pep just signed an extension, keeping him at City until 2021. He loves it there, and we are so happy he is here. World Cup will be a blast with City having players on all the contenders teams, then next season can't get here soon enough.
Amazon did a man city all or nothing show that should be out in August. Really looking forward to that.

05/17/2018 - 12:56pm I agree and they are just a

I agree and they are just a fun group to watch. Last years football team was the first year in 40 yrs that By the halfway point, I was finding myself turning games off in the middle of them because what I was witnessing was so frustrating. That has never happened to me, even during the Rich rod years. As I’ve gotten older, at least I don’t take losses as hard as I used to. At the end of the day, what my soccer team did this year is what I have wanted from Michigan team to do every year, and that is entertain and win, Manchester City did that in spades and has left me so happy this year. Last years team here did not entertain or win and it was hard on the eyes

05/17/2018 - 12:43pm I think if Ace’s health is up

I think if Ace’s health is up to it, he could use a little one on one training with Johnny Lawrence at the Cobra Kai dojo, then he could stand up better to Brian. I like both Ace and Brian, but they can grate after a while.

05/17/2018 - 10:46am I love Reggie but that was as

I love Reggie but that was as blatant a push off as there is, as bad as Jordan’s push off against Utah to win the title. But let’s not pretend that MJ did not get the benefit of the lion’s share of the calls. If I’m being fair too, Reggie traveled every time he came of a pick. Just watch his feet, he perfected the catch then hop into his shot. The rules state it’s a travel but we all know the NBA

05/17/2018 - 10:25am good point. I would have no

good point. I would have no problem switching Wilt or Russell for Hakeem, but not Kareem. Hakeem and Kareem were two very skilled centers, maybe the most skilled big men. Wilt and shaq and Russell were just dominant forces but they weren’t the most skilled centers and definitely had little game outside 10 feet.
Now Larry bird would not be replaced by any of those guys you mentioned for me. Loved Dr j and everything he did for the game, but Larry had the clutch factor, was one of the best shooters and passers ever and out thought everyone on the court. Dr j was a great player no doubt but he lacked a few things in his game to put him in the top 10. He’s right there though. KD is a great player but top 10 all time?? No way, I’d have Dirk Nowitzki above him. Elgin Baylor would be in my 10-20 but no way would he be over Larry legend

05/16/2018 - 12:54pm Pacers should have beat them

Pacers should have beat them that series.

05/16/2018 - 12:53pm Always hated the bulls as a

Always hated the bulls as a pacers fan, but MJ is one of the greatest to ever do it. Say what you will about espn but they do a great job in this department. The series that I’m looking forward to the most is the amazon all or nothing for Manchester City. Truly the perfect year to do a series on them as they broke every significant record in the book. Storybook season with an ending made for tv!!

05/16/2018 - 12:50pm It’s almost impossible to say

It’s almost impossible to say who is the best ever. The answer will always be opinion based. I would put Lebron in my top 10, like I would Larry bird, magic, Oscar Robertson, Kareem, Russell, chamberlain, Kobe, MJ. We always get into arguments over GOAT status, but these are all great players. Let’s just agree to that.

05/16/2018 - 12:40pm Don’t forget the eastern

Don’t forget the eastern conference finals in 97 when the pacers probably played the bulls better than anyone. Mj is on a fast break and mark Jackson fouls him, mj proceeds to throw the ball at marks head and no technical called. Mark definitely fouled him but mj should have gotten a tech, and the game got away from the pacers after that. Mj was the best ever, but like Lebron today, is the recipient of some very favorable reffing

05/15/2018 - 1:21pm That octagon joint was pretty

That octagon joint was pretty good. Nice follow up to the original. Kool Keith!!!

05/15/2018 - 1:18pm Royce always come through

Royce always come through with the lyrics but the beats on both the solo and phryme just don’t do it for me.

05/15/2018 - 1:12pm Used to bump Dayton family

Used to bump Dayton family back in the day!!! Migos though, they are a disgrace to rap. They tried to battle BONE, and got thoroughly embarrassed. They are like remedial school nusery rappers, I can’t listen to them, without laughing.

05/15/2018 - 12:38pm The song is annoying as funk

The song is annoying as funk but the video is at least, thought provoking. Early 90’s hip hop addressed racism in such a better way lyrically. The woke generation seems still so asleep to the big picture, it’s hard to take them seriously.

05/15/2018 - 12:32pm Rock the bells radio on

Rock the bells radio on Sirius is great for me. Not a fan of mumble rap, so the golden era works fine for me. Hair nation and various heavy metal stations are great too. Comedy channels are good too

05/15/2018 - 12:25pm The phryme album and Royce

The phryme album and Royce solo albums were big dissapointments to me. I was looking forward to Phryme 2 because dj premier is one of the best to do it, but like 95% of hip hop nowadays, it just bores me and the beats were not great. J cole’s album is decent, but it bores me to death too. He is the Golf of hip hop, always seems to put me to sleep. The new Czarface is really good, the God Fahim is nice with it. Mostly I’ve been dusting off the classic hip hop. Really anything from 94 can be played and I’ll be happy. I just heard Nas Illmatic performed with the national symphony orchestra. That is easily the best shit out right now, especially in hip hop.

05/04/2018 - 3:21pm You get an upvote for that

You get an upvote for that one!!!!!

05/03/2018 - 5:37pm I’ve watched a little nfl

I’ve watched a little nfl over the last year, and it didn’t look like they followed concussion protocol very well. We already know about their doctors giving players pain drugs during games so they make it through the games. I think all go with the opinions of doctors at um or harvard over these nfl jokers any day of the week. Raiders got the steal of the draft.

04/27/2018 - 2:50pm I’m waiting on the Manchester

I’m waiting on the Manchester city amazon doc in the summer. Should be a great watch. Even though the NFL is not my cup of tea, the amazon docs are great!!!

04/26/2018 - 2:32pm Good lord man, i never said

Good lord man, i never said fuck people who study things. You are too much man. Don’t get your feelings so hurt, as I even mentioned the word bigotry to substitute for racism to appease your genius mind. The bottom line to this whole argument, is the racism and bigotry is wrong, period. Understanding your history and what happened to those in the past is very important, but using as a crutch and an excuse to be a bigot is not acceptable.

04/26/2018 - 1:51pm I agree man, but that guys

I agree man, but that guys straw man argument has to be rebuffed. For his sake I used the term bigotry, but regardless, I am not a fan of racism or bigotry. It’s not right when anyone is engaged in that behavior, regardless of whatever happened to them or their ancestors in the past.

04/26/2018 - 1:37pm Give me a break man, we are

Give me a break man, we are never going to get anywhere as a civilization unless we start treating everyone with respect. I don’t care what the academic definition is,it doesn’t excuse judging people by what color skin they have, or getting free reign to bash a race because of some perceived privilege they have. Using this logic will only keep us divided, which is exactly what those in power want. All I know is at the end of the day, as a father of a biracial kid, I have heard nasty things from whites and blacks, so to me, I do look at it as simply racism. If you want to use your academic terms fine, then we will call it bigotry and not racism, but the end result is the fucking same. Like I teach my son, treat people with respect, don’t judge anyone until you really know them, and never engage in bigotry or racism.

04/26/2018 - 1:24pm Racism in general is wrong,

Racism in general is wrong, period, never in my post did I say they were equal by the way. I just find it funny that one form of racism, like racism towards white people is tossed off as funny and less offensive than racism towards black people. Both are wrong and help divide us instead of bringing us together. I’m pretty thick skinned, and played college basketball, and being a hispanic that looks white caused a lot of very racist jibes towards me. I’m not easily offended, but I could see how it could hurt others. No one gets a pass on being a racist is all I’m trying to say. History doesn’t excuse racism either.

04/26/2018 - 12:06pm I personally hate the word so

I personally hate the word so I won’t use, whether quoting rap lyrics or anything else. My ex wife is black and I never used that word around her. She in turn never called me whitey, or spic since I’m hispanic but look white. Racism works both ways, and I hate to say it but it’s funny that it seems to be only white people getting called racists even though I hear far more racially charged language toward white people than the other way around, yet it seems that type of racism is not viewed in the same way when it’s just as offensive.

04/26/2018 - 11:58am Who negged your comment.

Who negged your comment. This would be my exact response too. I would have a problem with a guy on my team banging my girl but ultimately she made the choice to cheat, so she has the lions share of responsibility here. I would be glad to know my girl is a ho and get rid of her, but I think you hit the nail on the head, that this is all about EGO.

04/20/2018 - 3:10pm When Pep leaves in a few

When Pep leaves in a few years, I would love to see Viera or Arteta take over and keep things rolling

04/20/2018 - 2:19pm Yeah. It became a joke

Yeah. It became a joke amongst us City fans that we wanted Arsene to stay and Jose to stay at united. At least Jose isn’t going anywhere!! Lol

04/20/2018 - 1:05pm I love Lance. He is

I love Lance. He is completely insane, but brings that fire to the team. He gets under Lebron skin all the time. It is damn funny

04/20/2018 - 12:49pm Vieira is a good choice but

Vieira is a good choice but may be a few years down the line. He knows Peps system since all of the City affiliates play the same style. He’s doing well at NYC. Really like him as a coach. Mikel Arteta has been a great coach for City too. May be a few years for him also though

04/20/2018 - 12:43pm Arsene was just not effective

Arsene was just not effective anymore as the game seems to have passed him by. I’m a Man City fan, but have a lot of respect for him and what he has done. But it was time to hang it up. Who does Chelsea get and who does Arsenal bring in to replace him? Big questions for next season. Thankfully my City boys wrapped up the league without giving me a heart attack, although we had a 3 game typical City stretch of choking, but this season has been amazing for us, and honestly can only see Liverpool as main contenders next season. They have to be more consistent in the league, but they seem to have our number. United, as long as Jose is in charge, does not strike any fear in my heart. Tottenham continues to show flashes of great play mixed with serious inconsistencies. I know we are going to try to get champions league in the next few years, but I don’t see us getting worse. City are filled with young talent, and the best coach in the game. The league is light blue for a while to come.

04/20/2018 - 12:33pm As a pacers fan I agree with

As a pacers fan I agree with you 100%. I couldn’t believe how little credit Ace was giving to Indiana. A team that most thought wouldn’t even be In The playoffs after the Paul George trade. This is a young team, but if you have watched the pacers all season, they are a TEAM. A lot like us this season in the big ten. They play for each other and the biggest understated point is that Oladipo loves Indiana and gets the basketball culture. The fans in turn support him to the utmost extent. Besides Lebron, Indiana, top to bottom is a better team and judging the first 2 games, if Lebron has to go superhuman to beat us by 3, I like indiana’s chances. They need to get both at home, and if they do, they win the series. I worry about the refs in this series though and have a feeling the old LeFlop James might get some very generous calls over the next few. Don’t sleep on the Pacers

04/13/2018 - 12:39am I think the pacers could

I think the pacers could surprise the Cavs. Lebron will elevate his game and he’s always going to get the calls, but the pacers have played them well this season

04/12/2018 - 6:00pm My son loves to watch the

My son loves to watch the nick ap because it has all episodes of every show. Recently Comcast let the contract with Viacom run out and the app won’t let him watch anything. Comcast answer was to use their streaming ap, and when I pointed out that the Comcast ap has 1 or 2 eps a show, they said they are working on renewing the contract. That was 3 months ago and crickets. Comcast is horrible

04/03/2018 - 11:46pm I can’t stand Kanye but that

I can’t stand Kanye but that gif is great!!

03/31/2018 - 12:28pm Really witty comment

Really witty comment

03/31/2018 - 12:27pm Two teams my man city boys

Two teams my man city boys will be beating in the next week and a half. There are a ton of soccer fans on this blog. What happened to the soccer threads that were pretty popular last year? I know we had a couple douchenozzles that had to ruin every thread, but I miss the discussion.

03/30/2018 - 1:15pm I don’t know about that.

I don’t know about that. Laimbeer had kind of Greyson Allen vibe to him. He was a cheap shot artist. I am a pacers fan but I liked the bad boys, much more than the bulls, but Laimbeer would frequently cross the line. It’s a double edge sword for me, because I liked his fire but didn’t like the cheap shot stuff. That and them walking off the court when they fairly lost to the Bulls ultimately soured me on the bad boys. The walking off the court was such a bitch move.

03/26/2018 - 12:26pm I don’t even think it’s that

I don’t even think it’s that great of a story. On a scale of 1 to Brock mealer I would give it a 6. I mean she’s old and has been a fan for a long time, but that’s about it for me. It’s a cute fluffy story for the moms who are forced to watch the games with their husbands, but it’s time we put this story to bed and crush them.
