Welcome back UMBIG11.

take this for what it is worth, many of us on this site look for and value your posts.

nobody is going to hit 100%.  Also, based on comments by Harbaugh today, it seems like the staff may have been optimistic about Gary playing until Gary said he could not play.

anyway, I for one am glad to see you have not completely disappeared.

No, I will be sending stuff to Brian and Seth via email. General stuff, fine. There is never and I mean NEVER 100% accuracy second hand.

James Hudson has officially moved on. Wish him well.

EDIT: The Gary stuff was all over the map. The first two had it 100% right and it went south from there. There was a flood of he has practiced and will play after that. Too many to discount. Lots of solid people had sources that differed during the week. Nobody was right, but we shared what we had. As of right now, Gary plays against PSU. Will it change? No idea.

Oh fucking spare me. You've been wrong more often than not in the past 3 months and keep blaming it on the fluidity of the situation. Which is fine, things change, but now that people call you out you're going to act like a giant baby about it?

Things that weren't nearly as fluid:

"Brandon Peters is the #2"

"This team looks a lot more like an 8-4 team than a 10-2 team. They're in trouble"

"Nebraska should be a tossup"

"Another undisciplined Harbaugh Clunker" which I should add came after a 20-17 road victory against the #1 team in the Big Ten West.

"Wisky is a pivotal game. It could prove the difference between 8-4/9-3"

"RG Onwenu is a problem" Big Mike Mauled dudes the last two games.

So yea, thanks for posting stuff that turned out to be true, but don't act like an egotistical manbaby because you couldn't handle negative blowback on things that turned out to be unequivocally wrong.

You immediately resorts to name calling/personal attack. The guy is right, and you can't take it.

It is clear you are not a real insider. Real insiders knew Brandon Peters' days at Michigan are numbered, and McCaffrey was better than him. They all said McCaffrey played better, and they were excited about the next 2 to 4 years with him being QB after Patterson is gone.

Now that we have seen McCaffrey play we know they were right, and you were wrong. The excuse of 'fluid situation' is just you covering for you lack of ability.

Who are you? Are you from Maize N Brew? Because you are as shallow as those guys there. I got so tired of their poor work I have completely stopped even checking with them.

I'm not an insider. But the insider stuff I have read and posted, what I was able to, was always right. So are you going to start up the name calling and personal attacks with me?

Yep, more personal attacks.

Please point out where the insider information I have provided here was wrong. We all can see where you have been wrong.

And how am I an idiot? Man, you are insecure.

SMH, for sure, at what you just said.

Your 'insider' information deserves to be beat on like a piñata. And the real you comes out when the piñata is broken open. What comes out? A petty, name calling man.

It would be bigger of you just to concede how wrong you have been sometimes.

Did you see the guy swear at him first? WTF. You're new here, so I'll tell you something--this guy has delivered at least three pieces of inside info that was right, flat out. One was that Speight beat out JOK, a week before it was announced, and the Board erupted in hate and disbelief. So just calm down, and stop trying to debunk someone that adds value. Why does it make you mad? Let it go

It's Always Marcia

Swear? I don't think you are going back far enough with this. And regardless, it is low to engage in name calling and personal attacks.

Umbig11 has started up with personal attacks on me. I am not going to do it to him, nor will I. Nor will I swear. Personal attacks are always the tool of someone with no option left when they are wrong. There is no way it can be made to look like an ok thing to do. There is no justifying it--even if someone sweared first. These personal attacks are olny showing insecurity on the part of Umbig11.

And it was obvious that Speight was going to start. You didn't have to be an insider. I didn't like it that Speight was going to start. But I knew he was going to. Who didn't? It was only wishful thiniing to want O'Korn to start.

And I am not questioning if he is right, or not, sometimes. It's just he has been so badly wrong many times that it is clear he is not an 'insider', as we all think of them. Real insiders are paid monthly subscriptions. And if they were as wrong as Umbig11 has been they would lose money--as they rightly should.

What about the people on this board that said McCaffrey was going to be 2nd string, and Peters 3rd? They were relentlessly attacked, and treated like trolls, because the resident 'insider' here said the opposite. And as it turns out, the 'insider' was wrong.

Is it any wonder this place is called 'toxic'.

Because i disagree with Umbig11? Because I point out when he has been wrong, which has been fairly often? Note, I didn't say 'always wrong'.

What would have been the reason for banning me, other than a tight circle of people don't like their group think being challenged?

This critique is nonsensical dude. Everything you listed is the guy's opinion except the first, which WAS true, before it changed. So you don't like his opinions? Let's check yours. NM, not interested

Do you get that the value people saw in UMBig was the program info, right or wrong, that he delivered? If he delivered 3 things of inside value over a couple years (which he objectively did, as a fact) and got 10 things wrong, that's three contributions to the board of value.

Him 3, you 0.

Half the things you mentioned were the man's opinions on things. The other half you claim as "wrong" and definitively not due to fluid situations...well, how do you know? Are you privy to inside information that conflicts with his reports? Do you know who he is? Who he is connected to?

I'm guessing you don't know anything, and are just jealous of umbig's access.

FatGuyTouchdown

I don't know who he is or who he is connected to, but I am privy to a little bit of inside info at Michigan, and a great deal at some other big time football programs, so no I'm not jealous. I used to enjoy his posts a great deal. I'm just tired of flip flopping and whining and attributing it to a "fluid situation". If you can't handle being called out when you're wrong, don't post. It's that easy. If you're not willing to go into detail about the exact fluidity of a situation, don't post.

Get off it man. Situations changes. It's not like things progress in a perfectly linear manner. Umbig has proven the validity of his information multiple times. He has nothing to gain by feeding us false information.

He has proven himself trustworthy, so unless you have clear information to prove he has been lying or making things up, you should just stop.

FatGuyTouchdown

October 23rd, 2018 at 1:50 AM ^

He hasn't proven the validity of anything recently. And I never said he was lying or making things up, I just think it's ridiculous not to be accountable for being wrong and instead blaming it on the fluidity of the situation. I don't believe UmBig11 is a liar. I don't believe he's fabricating his posts. I believe he is too quick to believe second hand info and gets way too worked up when anyone questions his info. I also think he harbors a grudge against the current staff because his current level of access has either been cut off or reduced. So everyone can downvote me or call me a dickhead or whatever I don't care. I just think it's a ridiculous point of view that no one should call him out for being wrong.

Fat guy I think everyone thought all those exact same things u just mentioned st beginning of season because after notre dame this team looked just like last year and well things have gotten a lot better and I for one am happy, been more good saturdays than bad

Disagree.  What incentive does UMBig11 have to post things on here that he knows to be false or made up?  He is anonymous on a blog.  It isn't like he's getting personal credit and everyone goes up to him and shakes his hand.  If anything, you have found him credible enough that you actively pay attention to his posts.  The ridicule of somebody posting tidbits that I have every reason to believe he believes/is given is absurd.  He's doing us all a favor.  And further, what gain does anybody here get from actually criticizing?  Does it make you feel macho to say "I told you so" on a blog?  I don't get it.

Even if you don't want to believe it or want to ridicule it, what does anybody here gain from calling somebody out for trying to help, assuming you all believe (like I do), that the intent is absolutely trying to help and that he is clearly connected in some way.  If you don't believe it, just stop reading and go about your day.  It is a lot easier to criticize than it is to add value...

Some of us really appreciate the input Umbig11 brings to this blog.  God knows I've spent to many times clicking refresh on this site hoping for an update from him.  You can choose to give his contributions credence or blow them off, I really don't care.  But I hope you (and some others) haven't ruined it for those of us that do by being, for lack of a better term, a dick.

You are attacking him personally. Personal attacks on the internet are always the tool of someone with no options left/nothing they can do to defend themselves. He is pointing where you've been wrong. That's all he's doing. He isn't attacking you. But you are attacking him personally.

Respect for you is nose diving.
