06/30/2018 - 5:00pm This is not my first post,…

This is not my first post, but I am with you Reblued.  Brian is a hyprocrite of the highest order after this post.  Just hugely disappointing from what used to be my favorite sports site.  All things change I suppose.

This WAS one of the few places you could come without politics a while back.  It could almost be forgiven if they were any good at it.  But while Brian has a great talent for sports writing, he could not be worse at politics.  And poor Ace - the less you read his twitter the better off you are.

06/30/2018 - 4:37pm How could he???

How could he???

Skinning kittens is great - do what you gotta do - but puppies??? Not puppies!

04/28/2018 - 2:03pm This one will go down

as an all-timer.  I CANNOT believe Mo Hurst was picked in the 5th round.  Years from now we will talk about how dumb NFL GMs are, and this will be the best evidence.

04/28/2018 - 12:10am Good take

And decent insight with Thanos' comment to Thor.  I did not know the story from the comics.  If this truly was in detail the original storyline, then it must be an amazing thing to see that unfold on the big screen.  It was just a totally unexpected experience (not bad!) for the myself and the group of people I went with.  Totally unlike any other comic/hero movie, in a good way.

04/28/2018 - 12:06am Yes I did

Thank you

04/27/2018 - 8:13pm Real Spoilers Below, be sure before you read this post

Plus I had to write my thoughts down after that movie.

This is really not a fun movie, but really really good even so.  It's a tragedy told through a comic book hero story.  It's probably the best actual storyline of any comic book movie I have seen and I have seen them all, to my shame.  Most of the heros die at the end.  A list of those who died: spiderman, vision, scarlet witch, doctor strange, ALL of the gaurdians except the raccoon, black panther, the winter soldier and loki.  I'm probably forgetting a couple.

But this one is just half a story.  So that makes the movie hard to grade.  The protagonist is the worst bad guy in movie history but you still get a full back story on him and the reasons for his actions.  Thanos gets the most screentime by far, and deservedly so.

The stakes are pretty high even for someone like me who is only half-heartedly into hero movies.  Because you at least know the characters, and they are all dying.

So yeah.  There are a lot of funny moments though.  The action is second to none and the acting is fantastic.  I really would not want to watch that again until you get to see the second part where the good guys win in the end, but I am really not in to dramas - so take that into consideration.

04/02/2018 - 5:52pm RRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!

/runs into battle

03/13/2018 - 6:07pm And they're right

What's YOUR problem, bub?

01/01/2018 - 1:29pm This just looks like

a really poorly coached team (aside from the defense)

01/01/2018 - 1:24pm I no longer blame the quarterbacks

or the wide receivers

12/15/2017 - 1:52pm This message

was brought to you by Disney studios, international.

12/14/2017 - 10:39pm Terrible movie

Disney flat out ruined the franchise. Don't watch it.

12/03/2017 - 5:54pm I'll take 1 million

I'll take 1 million on blue

12/02/2017 - 10:35pm Miami is a bigger paper-tiger

than even Wisconsin.  They should have lost at least 2 others outside of a couple of literal miracle plays

12/02/2017 - 10:31pm He's the college version of late-stage Brett Favre

12/02/2017 - 3:47pm Helpful recap as I didn't see the game

Can someone fill in as to why Duncan Robinson is still getting a lot of minutes?

12/01/2017 - 5:30pm Also, although you could never prove it

Mexico's defense all of the sudden got really soft at the least opportune time for US qualifying.  The theory being Mexico let in a few weak ones so the US would not qualify.

12/01/2017 - 4:06pm This is like a Michigan fan cheering for Ohio State

In no circumstance this side of hell frozen over should any USMNT fan ever cheer for Mexico.

11/29/2017 - 8:43pm I've wondered about this

Does he use the first 10 games to just try stuff?  And then he knows what he has in actual competition?  How else can you explain such a good coach with a team putting on these kinds of displays yearly.

11/29/2017 - 8:40pm Remember the last 3 years, at least

Beilein teams tend to be awful at the beginning of the year, and (especially last year) get hot/much better at the right time.

11/29/2017 - 8:35pm I have to keep remembering every year

Don't start watching b-ball until at least a third of the way through the season until Beilein has worked his magic.

11/29/2017 - 8:30pm I was at a restaurant with my wife

Who literally does not care about TV.  And she asked if we could leave early after hearing about 10 minutes of people shouting at each other about nothing on ESPN in the background.  That's really not a good sign for your cable network, guys.

11/29/2017 - 8:24pm That

and the generally horrendous programming. When was the last time you watched non-live sports ESPN?

11/29/2017 - 8:21pm Well, that first half

Gives me more time to do other things in the 2nd

11/29/2017 - 7:44pm I will upvote every comment

I ever see from you due to that name and pic

11/29/2017 - 7:42pm Matthews banks in a 3 to take the lead

Utterly hilarious.  And he agrees.

11/27/2017 - 5:14pm They are NOT kids

They are young men, who choose to come to Michigan and choose to work very hard to play football as best they can.  Don't minimize those decisions by calling them "just kids".

11/21/2017 - 2:33pm So the only take that's not insane

Is to ignore how we have finished in the division so far?

11/19/2017 - 12:56pm Great point

What exactly are we expecting after a loss like that?  People are going to vent on their favorite blog.

Sure a lot of people are going overboard or getting emotional.  I believe the worst is then to call ANYONE an idiot, moron, stupid, or whatever.  We can address the content.  But of course that's how some people vent, to insult others.

Ace is still relatively young, and I bet it wears you down dealing with constantly venting and emotional people so much.

11/19/2017 - 12:44pm Twitter makes everyone who uses it worse

It encourages the hottest of hot takes, all day every day, and gives people who use it the idea the twitter-verse is representative of reality.  Which it is most certainly not.

Most of all, everyone who spends a significant time on twitter seems to hone one skill more than any other:  the ability to lose patience with all other views that are not yours, and then respond with immaturity and sarcasm.  Sarcasm is easy, and lazy.

11/19/2017 - 10:43am Think most people are upset about the way we got here

Would it be better to lay a stinker against Maryland or Minnesota but actually win a game you are not supposed to?  I think so.  But some bad luck and very untimely injuries have us where we are.  Is luck a thing?  Should we "just win"?

A lot of offseason hype, recruiting victories and coaching talent has turned into a pretty mediocre team for two years.  Of course Harbaugh should be here as long as he wants, I believe.

If you bought into the Harbaugh hype, you have to be bitterly disappointed so far.  If you find perspective in where Hoke had the program and add in vast amounts of bad luck and injuries, you seem to have more perspective.  I can understand both sides.

11/18/2017 - 4:41pm Umm

What exactly are your expectations for a team with consistently top 10 recruiting classes and the highest paid coach?  I'm genuinely curious.

11/18/2017 - 4:26pm Someone check my math

But this puts Harbaugh at 7-9 against teams with WINNING RECORDS.  I would be curious to see the company that puts him in.

11/18/2017 - 3:58pm The one thing

You really thought would never happen to a Harbaugh coached team

11/18/2017 - 3:52pm Fuck off

With your neutral comments

11/18/2017 - 1:45pm Time to earn that money coaches

Past time to win a big one.  Go blue

11/18/2017 - 1:41pm Could be better

Could be worse.

Keep playing like this and we win

11/13/2017 - 3:55pm It's fun

Get some friends

11/11/2017 - 5:25pm True

That's the only thing I need to see in the 2nd half.  Peters throwing standard routes to wide receivers

11/11/2017 - 5:18pm Michigan has 0 receptions

to wide receivers

11/11/2017 - 5:13pm Respect the guts

Interesting thig to do to Harbaugh

11/11/2017 - 5:04pm Maryland broke 100 yards

time for Salvatore to panic

11/11/2017 - 4:36pm Ouch

That hurts

11/11/2017 - 4:29pm Already have breathing room

And it's the 2nd Q.  Let's get the defense some scores

11/11/2017 - 4:20pm Oops

3rd and 25
