18 holes and watching the Wings dismantle the Stars for their 23rd consecutive playoff appearance.
Been awhile since I posted...I think it is 22nd, but yea I am rooting for them.

You have 1997 points. Probably shouldn't post again until we win another National Championship.

I'm up here in alaska.. it was spring time until last night. We just got 4 inches of snow. How's that for a posbang killer...
It snowed the previous two days in Ann Arbor.
We're flying back to michigan next week to visit my family (in the thumb). My Dad has been sending pictures of flooded fields and roads everywhere. Sounds like a crummy spring there so far. We were hoping to go to a tigers game while we were there. I miss sitting in the warm sun with a beer and watching a lazy 9 innings..
Had gelato for the first time. Very nice! Got the raspberry flavored.

F**king inventory tomorrow. Then possibly GVSU to congratulate one of my best friends for graduating.

This is fantastic timing. I just found this meme on my lunch break and just had to share it:
that's terribly offensive.
And there is one much more offensive about it being Friday.
Am I a wussie becuase I find this somewhat offensive? Not racially, but you know, hungry kids being excited about food?
Let me first say that I have a lot of sympathy for kids in terrible circumstances like that. I've volunteered at orphanages in third-world areas in 2 different countries (I don't think Honduras and Mexico are technically third-world countries, but the areas I was in definitely were), so I've even gone beyond just sympathy and done something to help out.
That aside, I'm not trying to make light of the kids' circumstances. I just got a hearty laugh imagining those kids being so happy to see food we consider super basic. If anything, it's sobering because we could see a scenario like this actually being true.
Technically, they are third world. First world = NATO, second world = communists, third world = everyone else.
Offensive on at least eight levels.

On Saturday, the kids have a party - their own, this time. We're hosting a small gathering for their school friends at Pump It Up in Taylor. After that, we're taking them to Build-A-Bear at Twelve Oaks for a toy of their choosing. After we get home, I plan to burn my MasterCard.
On Sunday, it's yard work and beer mainly. Because I live near woods and therefore leaves - dead or alive - fall throughout the year, I have to rake out several flower beds. I do plan to start with mainly yardwork and make the gradual shift to beer as the afternoon wears on.
I believe it is customary and necessary to always have beer while doing any yardwork.
The weather appears to be nice, at least through tomorrow. Possibly some golf in the near future. I also have a potroast simmering at home today, so add some hearty sides to that tonight with a solid beer to wash it down and enjoy the evening. Spring is just about damn here in Michigan, which also means the campus is starting to display the seasonal "scenary"

Just have one more conference call to make it through, then I'm off to catch a matinee screening of Oblivion or Pain and Gain...haven't decided yet.

Yeah, I've heard good things about Oblivion too.

For the first time this year I ate lunch out on the patio furniture at my office. Beautiful day.
Ashley's tonight for some good brews.

it's beautiful out, I'm still laughing my butt off about Michael Shannon's dramatic reading of the sorority letter.
Then, all of that is tempered by having to have a great dog, a truly great dog, euthanized at 2 pm.
Going outside to dig a hole right now. Sucks on so many levels.
odd giving you a +1 on that unfortunate post. Sorry to hear that about your dog.
Sorry to hear about your dog =-( anyone who's done it knows how hard it is, but you're saving them from everyday pain. I truly am sorry and hope everything else this weekend turns out great for you.
Sorry. That does suck.
It's such a strange thing. You know it's coming at some point with an older dog, but it's usually in the abstract.
Then it hits you like a pile of bricks - it's time.

with a good 30 rack. Maybe even drink a third of it. Maybe watch some hockey and baseball this weekend. If there's time.

Fucking Finals
Who won the Fucking Semifinals?
I would recommend studying for them instead. But to each their own.

and bachelorette party. I am clearly too old to be attending a bachelorette party, so a POSBANG would help. Thanks. Wait.....that didn't sound right....
I keep forgetting you're a woman, until you post things that give you away. It's mostly because I just assume everyone on the internet is a man.
Assuming everyone on the internet is a man is good advice for anyone. But then again, if everyone followed this advice, no one would have ever gotten to meet that Chris Hansen fellow.
Until I see 'her' typing in 'her' own password and posting on MGOBLOG I will assume 'she' is a man.
this one time I assumed a person was a woman, well a girl at least, then i showed up at this shopping mall only to be assaulted by the police. Horrible day.

I'll be checking out the cherry blossom festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens with the family this weekend, with various little league activities before and after.
- Mowing the grass
- BBQ
- Watch Tigers' games on TV
- Dream about upcoming Michigan football season
Studying for finals. Fortunately, only have two.
Also, watching the NFL Draft and waiting to see who is lucky enough to grab Denard / seeing who my Eagles take for the new Chip Kelly era. Could those two events happen at the same time? One can dream....
This weekend? I'll be thinking of Moe Ways puns. Natch.
Well, that and hoping that a party (100 guests +/-) we're hosting tomorrow doesn't get rained out. If it does rain, imma be swimming in beer for a month.
Sounds like a win either way.
That avatar is offensive. No child should be forced to wear a White Sox hat.
