Hunting runs through my veins probably even more than Michigan football. Turkey-hunted this morning (unsuccessfully), as a matter of fact. My father was a naturalist, as was my maternal grandfather. Both lightly hunted, but placed more emphasis on conservation and environmental responsibility. I try to follow in their footsteps, but more of my efforts are geared towards growing and killing deer than either would have preferred. My big passions are upland bird-hunting and waterfowling.
