Yes it's the Trek version of Darth, he basically admitted it in the Gamertag thread. |

Good call here, I wonder if all teams get the Seven Nation Army chant though (I'm assuming they do.) If you still have the old MP3 files you can upload the Hawaiian War Chant, and Temptation, and the Let's Go Blue chant to play at the correct times they would during an actual game. |

XBL- Greasypickle22 (this was made freshman year, dont judge me) mostly NHL 13, UMVC3 and Injustice at the moment if anyone ever wants to play. |

Val's contract is up can you really trade him? I think they'll most likely sign Cleary and Brunner again, but I think that the $ Val is looking for won't be from the Wings. |

Holy crap are you the Star Trek version of DarthWolverine? |
| 2 days 9 hours ago | Of course there a going to be |
Of course there a going to be changes, I mean the X-men team in the original movie is nowhere near the actual first team. All comic book movies have origins that aren't close to the actual book origins, my point is that having Superman kill an enemy is quite the paradigm shift. |
| 2 days 10 hours ago | Just so we're clear |
You're ok with writers/directors changing a character's mythos as they see fit?? |
| 2 days 10 hours ago | It goes against everything |
It goes against everything Superman was for though. He makes Bruce Wayne look vicious, in fact Superman is supposed to be almost too good, that's why the ending was just so bad. |
| 2 days 11 hours ago | This is probably where I sit |
This is probably where I sit as well, the flashback sequences were great in fact I wish there were more of them and Snyder does "action" really well but the acting and the ending were just so so lacking with good actors/actresses nonetheless. |

Not going to ruin it for any movie goers but the end was a tad meh... |

Rose nearly had the nail in the coffin on Mickelson but just didnt have enough. 1 over in the clubhouse could very well be the championship number. |

Day saves himself a stroke with that chip-in, hell of a shot. |
| 3 days 7 hours ago | The Blue Jays traded John |
The Blue Jays traded John Farrell for Mike Aviles this past off-season. I figure if he's under contract then I suppose it can be worked out?? |

Slick shot for Paille there, good series thus far. |

Eliot Ness and some Cup action. |
| 4 days 6 hours ago | Did the Pirates want Boesch |
Did the Pirates want Boesch in that deal? I had only heard of Porcello or Garcia for the Hammer which would have been a steep price to pay. Oh and absolutely this is 110% Dombrowski's fault, he rolled the dice on Rondon and ended up losing big, at least up to this point. |
| 4 days 7 hours ago | He's due to be paid $13 mill |
He's due to be paid $13 mill through 2015, I just don't see us locking him up to that kind of money before giving Cabrera an extension. The thought of throwing away a useful and cost controlled effective innings eater in Porcello for the rager Papelbon might be too much for me to handle, there are cheaper options out there that can be explored. |
| 4 days 7 hours ago | You're right to question |
You're right to question what's the best way to develop him I just don't see why he wouldn't be better than say a Luke Putkonen or an Evan Reed. These guys aren't long term help and Luke in particular would be lost if he didn't pitch in the confines of Comerica Park. A walk rate of 4.44/9 is certainly scary but the way the pen has been I guess I'm more of a "let's see if he sinks or swins." |
| 4 days 8 hours ago | The sample size for Rondon is |
The sample size for Rondon is very limited in the Bigs (as you pointed out) but he's been on a solid streak in Toledo, now obviously he needs to cut his walks a bit but his problems in May seemed more of his lack of confidence. I'm not knocking the kid, it just seemed like when someone got on base he went bizarro world and just lost control and feel, he's got the stuff to close at the Major League level it's just when he figures out how to put it all together. The closer spot is not the only weakness in the bullpen, right now they have only 2 guys that can be counted on to get outs in Benoit, and Smyly so they need another arm in there to help if our starters somehow don't start getting to the 7th inning (seriously this rotation is pitching at a historic level right now.) I'd stay away from Papelbon if we could because I don't want to pay a closer $13 million for the next 3 years, on top of giving up high end prospects. DD needs to try and swing a deal for Luke Gregerson, Casey Jannsen, or Jesse Crain. *More info on how amazing the rotation has been* http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/breaking-down-the-best-rotations-of-all-time/ |
| 4 days 8 hours ago | You don't get to the 9th |
You don't get to the 9th inning if you don't get through the 8th, it's not a simple solution but I think Rondon needs to be called up at least. He doesn't have to close right away he just needs to be available in the late innings, because they don't have many opetions. On a more encouraging note Rick Porcello is starting to live up to his potential and he's really upped his K/9 while also lowing his BB/9 so he's really becoming more than just an innings eater in the rotation. |

Ahh yes kick Detroit while its down, like basically everyone else that lives outside the metro area. |
| 4 days 18 hours ago | It's not just schools it's |
It's not just schools it's the lack of overall amenities. The police response time is awful, there aren't enough grocery stores, I'm sorry a Whole Foods isn't going to help what the citizens of Detroit needs. It's starting to come back but it's going to take quite a long time before outsiders see it as a desirable destination. |

Not saying it's the greatest tradition but the 3rd quarter is also the time for the wave (assuming we have the lead of course.) |
| 6 days 13 hours ago | It's not worth stealing from |
It's not worth stealing from Peter to pay Paul, this situation needs to solved via a trade. |

2-7 in extras this year. |
| 6 days 14 hours ago | Soriano got a fat contract, |
Soriano got a fat contract, and with Miggy looking for an extension it was probably wise to stay away. A closer like a Casey Janssen or a Luke Gregorson will probably cost a B level prospect, so say goodbye to a Danry Vasquez, a Tyler Collins or a Jake Thompson. But yes this situation needs to be remedied sooner rather than later. |
| 6 days 14 hours ago | Unreal, but totally |
Unreal, but totally believable, can't have your closer giving up bombs. |
| 6 days 15 hours ago | Hopefully Leyland leaves |
Hopefully Leyland leaves Smyly in for Hosmer at least, hell even the whole inning would be ideal but this reeks of Big Potato. |
| 6 days 16 hours ago | He's been great in limited |
He's been great in limited AB's but you wonder if he gets more regular playing time if he goes back to being the career minor leaguer who could only hit lefties. He's more than earned expanded playing time but he doesn't have a good track record at all, so it looks like this will be his role most of the season. |

Poor AB from Garcia, gotta get the ball to the right side to score the run there. |
