1989 UM GRAD

...both had Michigan winning the championship.  If (when!) Michigan wins, my nine year old daughter will come in 3rd in a 250-person pool.  She also had MSU and Ohio losing in the round of 64.  "I could never root for them, daddy!"

My bracket was horrible and after two rounds thought i was toast. But somehow I caught fire and a few upsets right and got the title game right and when the good guys win tomorrow night ill have pulled off the improbable comeback to win my work bracket challenge.

I'm in 5th out of 212 right now.  I had Florida beating Michigan.  Had I picked us instead of Indiana coming out of the right side of the bracket, I'd have likely locked up the win by now.  In the eternal words of Limp Bizkit, you gotta have faith.

(How many people did I piss off with that last line?)

I had Indiana over Louisville in one bracket, and Michigan ove Ole Miss (lol) in the mgoblog one. I don't have a prayer of winning, but I really don't care anymore!

Also, which one of you is savage2931?!

but get this: I joined in on a bracket to my MSU friends and have Michigan over Louisville.  So, in that one, I'm doing quite well.

I had Michigan over Louisville in the final, which is why I'm 99.2 percentile on ESPN. Ranked 65,000 out of 8 million ploys brackets. Go Blue!

Both of them I have Louisville beating Michigan in the final. I picked Louisville for two reasons. First, if Louisville won it all, and there was pretty good chance of this before the tournament, then I could still possibly win my pool. If Michigan wins, then I don't care because we won the national championship, and I could care less about some bracket.

how many minds think the same here.... I had UM over OSU in the final.  Need Michigan to beat Louisville to win my pool (and to experince extreme endorphin release).

I had Duke over Indiana, with Kansas State (derp) and Georgetown (double derp) as my other FF teams. I had Michigan losing to the Hoyas in the Elite Eight.

I picked Michigan to win in my bracket at work. Stupidly, I invited my roommate in that same bracket and he also picked Michigan to win (we were the only two). Sadly he made a lot of other better picks and will win first and I will take second after we prevail tomorrow

Interestingly my "fantasy" bracket has done much, much better. I had Michigan over Ohio in the title game. My gut feeling bracket has tanked. I had Miami over Duke in that bracket.

I felt I had to pick them to win it all in my pool. I wouldn't have been able to live with my self if we won it all and I didn't pick them. Now it comes down to me and the only guy to pick Louisville, winner takes all.

If they are a reasonable, ie 4 or better seed, I always pick them (also did last year...). Hence I'm currently in first place. I already hedged a UL victory so I get 600 if mich wins and 400 if UL wins

Unfortunately I did not get much of anything else right. I felt great going into the sweet sixteen until Syracuse and Witchita State busted my bracket.  I figured in a year when nobody was dominant, go with the most talented team and my maize&blue tinted glasses made UM an easy pick.  I don't take filling out a bracket too seriously so I was taking the best Michigan team I can remember no matter what.  I liked us against pressure then and I still do now.  Even though their physicality makes me nervous.

Had UM beating Louisville in one and UM beating Ohio in the other. 2nd one is buddy's out of state, so I am only one with UM in 100 person pool!

I've never picked Michigan to win it all, even in the Fab Five and late 80's years.  Never.  It was just to jinxy.  But as I filled out my bracket this year, I kept penciling in Michigan each round and saying "what the hell".   Sometimes heroball really works in the tourney (Danny Manning, Kemba Walker, etc., etc.), so I kept thinking Burke will put us on his shoulders and carry us to the promised land.   Michigan over KU was my toughest choice, but  kept the faith and completed the bracket.

Burke only had to heroball us once (KU), so my prediction for Michigan's pathway to the championship game was kinda wrong.   But I'm OK with that.

Michigan over Ohio State.   National Champs.  That's what I picked.
