The two-bigs lineup has no idea how to play defense or offense, and Chatman is at least as big of a liabilty the way he's played so far this year. Dakich doing nothing but staying out of the way was, sadly, a better option.

Beilein changes his substitution patterns in OT and it doesn't help us. This game, instead of rolling with Dakich when Dawkins fouled out, he went to two bigs, and then to Chatman. I thought that was a real lack of confidence in a strategy that had kept us in it all game.

Didn't get me. Too over the top.

Max needs more love. He nearly notched a double-double of his own, and he was consistently good enough not to merit a quick benching the likes of which Doyle repeatedly earned.

I think you're drinking the Kool-Aid here. Fraternities have gone to great lengths to avoid liability for actions of their members, which they do by arranging their policies so that individuals take all of the blame. Here's an illustrative (and long--sorry) quote from a fascinating article in the Atlantic:
Those of you tempted to tl;dr reactions should at least read the first 4 paragraphs of the article, which are hilarious.

Also needs less minimizing the number of members involved. 115 is neither "a few" nor a "small quantity" of bros.

It's the national organizations covering their asses so they don't end up with any liability. Any time a chapter gets caught doing something sufficiently illegal that the national organizations have to worry about financial liability, they suspend the chapter.

I assume I will enjoy this. But man, I don't even know who the roundtable participants are anymore. (Are they experts!?)
Edit: Oh, I thought Hope was a person's name at first. D'oh. I guess there's just one person I don't know.

I understand the Excel thing because there's a lot of cool stuff you can do but it's almost entirely non-obvious how to do it if you haven't used the program before. Maybe Word has secret powers of which I'm unaware...

I don't actually understand the teacher's side of this...how is it the teacher's concern what the kid eats? If he misbehaves, he'll get punished for that. If he makes a mess, make him clean it up. What's the problem?
|1 week 3 days ago||I don't really care, although||
I don't really care, although I think they should get creative with the penalties for things like this. Like, the other team should get to supply New England's balls (to be checked by the refs within normal guidelines) for the next game, or for all of next season, or whatever. That'd be a good deterrent for the future, and also potentially really funny if other teams do it right. Can you imagine the Pats having to play with 6 highly inflated scuff-free balls and 6 underinflated superscuffed balls with the refs switching between them randomly all the time? Good luck with that.

I think the only people who had those got hooked up by Falk. You can buy regular Twin City socks at (very) select locations. I know my wife had a really hard time buying me some, but she eventually managed it.

No surprise here. Fraternities have been embarrassments for a long time. This will just be another in a long line of incidents that gets mentioned in arguments that fraternities should be banned from college campuses.
