I don't mind cleaning up enormous turds in the yard. It's the horrendous canine ass gas that really gets annoying.

My wife and I work full time. Our last rescue dog was super chill, so leaving him at home was fine. We adopted him at the 1 year stage. He was apparently an outdoor dog before, but we didn't have any issue with house training. We walked him religiously twice a day, and he thrived in our household.
We got our current dog at a very young age. The energetic puppy to adolesence stage was difficult, so we opted for a few days per week of doggy day care. It's expensive, but we grew to love it. We tapered off to only one day per week after our dog's 3rd birthday. He's matured into a great dog and he seems to handle loafing around the house all day very well. We walk him regularly and shower him with love - he reciprocates the love tenfold.
Dog ownership is a huge responsibility and can cause major logistical headaches, but we wouldn't trade our dog for anything in the world. Except Jim Harbaugh as UM Head Coach, but that's no longer an issue. No regrets.

He looks very strong with the ball. Also finishes well with either hand.
Might be a nice combo guard prospect. He has nice length at 6'4"-6'5" (multiple sites). I wonder if he's done growing.

Just signed up. I expect nothing less than a bearded deity driving a maize and blue emblazoned vintage VW bus knocking on my door with HTTV in his hand.

Is there a correlation between the word count in Sam Webb's articles and likelihood for player X signing with Michigan? That was a thorough article. But I guess it deserves the word count since we're talking about a top-5 hoops recruit seriously considering Michigan. I'll refrain from getting excited since premature recruiting optimism seems to perpetually soil my soul in the end.

Thanks, Austin. Thanks for being a class act. Thanks for working your ass off against steep odds to make it back on the basketball court. Thanks for showing your obvious love of our university. Thanks for being part of the UM family. Thanks.

And this stat really sucks because I moved to Madison about 14 years ago.
|1 week 5 days ago||Yes, there is a governing||
Yes, there is a governing body for the entire UW System, but each has its own particular fiefdom. Administratively, it is probably very similar to the UM "system" at the top level. I'm definitely not an expert at college administration, though.
I will say that this entire conversation would be kind of "huh?" to grads at the various UW campuses. You're a "UW-Platteville" or "UW-Stevens Point" grad, not a "UW" grad. Students at the non-Madison campus also do not get any privileges at Madison for football tickets, etc. So that seems to be a distinct difference. I didn't know that UM-Dearborn or UM-Flint could get access to football tix. When I was a UM student a couple decades ago, I honestly didn't know that UM-Dearborn or UM-Flint existed and were considered part of the UM family. I appreciate this thread because I've actually learned a ton.

That is an epic graduation lid on the guy in red. Epic. What institute of higher learning is that associated with and do they have an online graduate degree program?

Division III powerhouse University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team members will always state proudly that they are UW-Whitewater alumni, not University of Wisconsin alumni.
It is different in Wisconsin since we don't have directional schools. We have a University of Wisconsin system with distinct flavors named by city/location.

Circa early 90's. I was close with a worker at an Ann Arbor ice cream shop. I later married that worker. Nothing like a closing time ice cream dish on the house.

|2 weeks 2 days ago||This past weekend. We||
This past weekend. We decided to test out a northwoods (Wisconsin) bar/restaurant on a whim. We had driven past it many times, and finally succumbed to its mystique. It was a total dive, but that's OK with me. I grew up in rural Michigan, so dive bars hold a special place in my heart.
We had heard they serve pizza, so we asked for a menu. No menu available. They offered thick and thin crust pizza. My kids just wanted cheese pizza (they were getting a bad vibe). No cheese pizza was available - only pepperoni, sausage, or deluxe. That's when it finally hit me - they served frozen pizza. I laughed inside, knowing many fine northwoods establishments serve piping hot frozen pizzas. We gamely ordered a sausage thick crust and a deluxe thin. Best damn frozen pizza I ever had, maybe because I downed it with two icy cold Pabst from the tap.

Nuthin' But Oberon. 75+ in south-central Wisconsin. Flowering bushes are showing color. Tulips are poking through the soil. I'll be tipping an Oberon (or two) with dinner tonight.
Warm-climate folks just won't understand. IT'S F#*@#$ING SPRING!
