And as long as you stick to…

And as long as you stick to one streamer instead of ALL the streamers, it nets out to less

This x1000!

The days where having access to all "TV" for an "affordable" price are over. The truth is Cable fees have been bloated for quite a while now, causing all the cord cutting. But in this next era of streaming, it will not be possible to have access to everything without paying HUGE monthly bills. For those who pick an choose what to subscribe to, it should come out less than the traditional cable package.

I definitely see a monthly rotation of streaming services in my future...Netflix one month, HBO the next, Hulu for a month, then Disney. Just watch the shows you want to for a month, and then move on to the next. By the time you return, there will be enough new content to fill a month of watching. It will suck not being "current" on all shows, but I don't see the feasibility of sustaining 8 different subscriptions.

Are these stand alone…

Are these stand alone toppings or just "on a pizza with other toppings"?

To me, those are completely different lists.

Green Peppers as a stand alone topping is near the bottom of the list. I'd NEVER order a pizza with just green peppers, but Green Peppers complementing a two meat combination like Pepperoni/Bacon is in the top 5 for sure.

Agreed.

I don't think JJ is ready to be a starting QB in the NFL. He would very much benefit from a situation like Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, and Love had where he can sit for 1-3 years behind an established starter and learn the speed of the NFL game. If he comes in and starts year one in the wrong situation, it could easily turn into a ruined career.

I'm in Michigan and use the APP to place my bets, not the website. My point was I cannot tell you how to find the bet using their website. It is 100% a bettable prop on their APP...IN MICHIGAN. Not sure how much clearer I can be on that.

On the DK Sportsbook app,…

On the DK Sportsbook app, click NFL to see all their NFL markets. There is a list of "tabs" along the top that starts with Game Lines, Progressive Parlay, etc. Scroll all the way to the right to see "Head Coaches"

They have odds for Bill B and Jim.

I don't use DK's website for betting, so I can't tell you how to find it there.

If it goes much past Jan 22…

If it goes much past Jan 22 then I agree with you. I think the Chargers know they want Jim and Jim knows they want him too, but they also have to interview 2 outside minority candidates before they can hire him. Starting Monday, they can interview members of other coaching staffs. Once that is done, I'd expect Jim to get the job by the 24th.

Yes, this past weekend it was -500 for him to stay. So the odds have since gotten worse from a Michigan standpoint.

My brief culture thoughts…

My brief culture thoughts...

Football is one of the ultimate team games. Get one guy not doing his job, on either side of the ball, and the whole plan falters. A close knit team will communicate with each other off the field, which helps lead to better on field communication and further the goal of the entire unit acting as one on the field.

Additionally, off the field work is arguably more important than on-field practice. When your best players are also your hardest working players off the field, it drives every single member of the team to work harder to get ready for the games. In the weight room. In individual film study. In every way. How does the backup or 3rd string DL take a workout "off" when you have Hutchinson working his ass off every day? How does a freshman RB not take those things serious when he sees what Blake puts in off the field? Those are the culture pieces that I think are most important.

I don't know if I've seen…

I don't know if I've seen him that high. I've definitely seen him in the 20's on several mock drafts which isn't THAT far off. I think more likely he would get passed in the pre-draft process by several other Edge types and end up in the 2nd round.

My SW flight out of Houston…

My SW flight out of Houston was delayed by nearly 3 hours last night. We landed in Chicago 10 minutes after my connection to Grand Rapids was supposed to have left. However, there were nearly 20 of us on the flight from Houston so they held the plane for us!

After boarding the new flight they told us we had to sit on the plane for 40 minutes before taking off so that the crews in Grand Rapids could clear runways of snow buildup. Worst part, since it is only a 30 minute flight there were no beverages on board (that they would give to us).

Finally got into Grand Rapids around 12:30am this morning.

And he was left out on an…

And he was left out on an island quite a few times in this game too.

JJ would benefit…

JJ would benefit TREMENDOUSLY from a situation like Mahomes (sat a full year) or Love (sat 3 years) where he gets to learn the position from a veteran QB while also getting reps against NFL defensive players in practice and tutelage from a bonafide NFL QB Coach.

He has the physical and emotional talent (by all accounts) but lacks the passing reps against legitimate defenses.

Agree with the comment below…

Agree with the comment below - we would never be in this game with him calling the defense. I appreciated what he did here, but I'm not sure that we win ANY of the 3 OSU games the last three years with a Don Brown defense. He was great at building a bully defense that could overpower less talented teams...but like many bullies, when he got popped in the mouth he didn't know how to respond.

The greatest move that Jim ever made was going after McDonald/Minter to build an NFL defense to stop OSU.

Washington's key - more…

Washington's key - more possessions = more opportunities to score

Michigan's key - less possessions increases the impact of each stop or forced FG

Also talks about Jim's partnership with John to get McDonald and then Minter to build the Ravens DEF in order to stop this exact type of offense (OSU passing attack)

At some point there has to…

At some point there has to be a collusion/monopolistic case against the secondary ticket market right? It sure seems that they have colluded together to create an atmosphere where there is no way for the consumer to get out of the exorbitant fees.

It's been quite a few years since I've LISTED tickets on the secondary market, but I read recently that at least one of the sites makes you sign away the right to price the ticket yourself, meaning they can artificially keep the market high and pocket the difference in addition to the fees (might have read that here). That, to me, should be exhibit A on why things need to change.

Did you take a look at his…

Did you take a look at his splits last year?

In games where he got 15 or more carries he had 101 carries for 802 yards (7.9 ypc) in 5 games.

In games where he got 12 or less carries he had 39 carries for 189 yards (4.8 ypc) in 6 games.

This year he averaged 3.5 ypc, which is down from last year, but when you compare it to the games that he was never given the chance to find a rhythm, not that much lower. He had 0 games with 15 carries this year.

Those STATS tell me that it matters for him to get into a groove.

Most airfare these days is …

Most airfare these days is "refundable" in that you can get future flight credit if cancelled. I looked at it as something that I would for sure use at some point anyway, so booked a few weeks ago just in case ($230 round trip GRR to IAH).

You'd think Edwards kicked…

You'd think Edwards kicked your dog or something.

The talent is there, and if he returns as the lead back next year I'm interested to see what he can do when he's getting the majority of snaps/carries. It's gotta be tough finding a groove when you are getting 10 or less carries in most games. For the season he averaged 2 carries per quarter, or less than one per drive. Impossible to find any sort of rhythm.

I agree that he goes down on first contact far more than I'd like, but I'd be happy to have him back next year. No need to poop on him like you are.

If this happens I bet we win!
