Or the opposite could be…

Or the opposite could be true.  Teams shy of paying vet RBs the $10/12M they will demand and instead will want to get RBs that are 80% as good but that are on MUCH cheaper rookie deals.  If I had to put money on it I would say this is more likely, unless the free agent RBs are willing to take less money.

Was planning to go tonight but my flight scheduled to land in Houston at 4pm is already 2 hr delayed due to plane issues.  And that doesn't even factor in delays from impending T-storms this afternoon. :(

Crazy that we only have 2…

Crazy that we only have 2 recruits from the state of Michigan.

So apparently Sidley Austin…

So apparently Sidley Austin represents the Big Ten here?  That seemed like a not so subtle reference in Mars' letter to the "Sidley Austin file sharing system".

Hard for the Ohio St PI firm or their mouthpieces in the media to spoon feed leaks when they aren't in the room for this part of the process.

I don't think he is saying…

I don't think he is saying LSA takes a back seat to any schools, but programs in LSA can be tailored to be less grueling than being at the M undergrad B school or M Engineering, for example, which routinely weed out Freshmen and Sophmores from those programs by requiring them to take and pass very competitive / challenging classes like Accounting and 100/200 level calculus and physics.  And fwiw, the same is true in LSA for pre-med kids having to take Organic Chem.

Also didn't D'Shawn Hand many years ago when he chose Bama over M give one of the reasons as he wanted to do Engineering and was either told that wasn't an option or would be too difficult at M?

YTTV fast-forward is 15…

YTTV fast-forward is 15 seconds on my FireTV.  Would assume same for Roku as pretty sure it is a feature in the app itself that isn't device-specific.

YTTV fast-forward is 15…

I had DirecTV for many years and switched to YTTV about 4 years ago.  It is amazing and much, much better than Xfinity or DirecTV.  It has all the channels and the user interface is very easy to navigate.  Sports look awesome and they have a limited amount of 4K options (typically marquee football and soccer games; although Fox Big Noon with Michigan was in 4K many games).  Highly recommend YTTV.

Was that the season that…

Was that the season that MGoBlog came out with the epic "Crunkest Team Ever" t-shirt?  I was just thinking this morning where this year's team lands on the Crunkest list ...

Edit:  It was the "Crunkest Team" (or at least part of a multi-year run of them)!

Yeah, how dare these 18 year… Yeah, how dare these 18 year olds, many of which come from underprivileged backgrounds, take the position that pays the most! Wtf /s

Doesn't that really prove the point, though?  Didn't want to play school but was still able to get the degree given lax standards?

Dude you don't know what you are talking about.  We lost to State b/c of State's guards getting hot:  (1) Winston broke his slump and could go and get tough buckets 1 on 1 late in the game, and (2) McPoyle being lights out from 3.  Dumping the ball down to Ward or Tillman in the post had nothing to do with that.  Frankly, had Izzo employed your strategy and dumped it down to Ward and Tillman more we probably would've won those games.

The flaw with this OT system…

The flaw with this OT system is that the incentive would be to just chuck it deep 4 times in a row and hope that you either complete it, get a DPI, or throw a pick that forces the other team to start deep in your territory

Maybe on FGs, but you can't just give them an automatic no punt return.  That would result in a ton of lost hidden yards and bad field position.

Kinnel has improved quite a bit.  Do you not remember us giving up at least one busted long pass / run every game last year?  That is exactly Brian's point when he says no busts two weeks in a row.

Same.  It is really hard to say what about the new website is so bad.  It is just so hard to quickly scan through the new info now that I find myself forgetting to come to the website for days at a time.  I used to browse around the board and recent main page posts multiple times every day.  Now I come maybe every few days ... and rarely ever now on mobile.

Anyone else still getting…

Anyone else still getting the 2004 version of the site on desktop?  I get the new one on mobile only.

You may want to go back and

You may want to go back and re-watch some highlight reels of the Fab Five.  They were ridiculously athletic.  E.g., Rose -- 6'9" PG that can literally do everything and Webber -- 6'10" PF that was a monster down low but could also lead transition and shoot 3s.  Will be really hard to ever top that.

So I assume you are saying

So I assume you are saying you won’t have insurance then, which means if you have a medical emergency then you have to pay out-of-pocket, which presumably you won’t be able to pay.
This will cause 2 things to happen: (1) all the other tax paying citizens will essentially be subsidizing your treatment since the hospital won’t be able to collect against you, which will require they raise rates on paying customers to compensate (causing healthcare costs to increase for everyone), and (2) you could face personal bankruptcy in trying to pay off this bill.
Now multiply this problem out by the millions of people that are likely to either lose coverage or elect to not obtain coverage and explain how the new healthcare plan from the Republicans is going to lower healthcare costs for everyone? This is a terrible outcome for everyone, which is what the individual mandate was trying to protect against.

Well, it is not as if Hoke

Well, it is not as if Hoke left him with a cadre of great candidates that he had been recruiting for years.  Recruiting top guys is a multi-year process, so it is not surprising that it took Harbaugh a year or two for top recruits (QB especially) to sign on to join the program.

That said, I think we are all pretty excited about Dylan McCaffrey as a RS Freshman next year regardless of Shea getting the waiver.

You are clearly very tough

You are clearly very tough and courageous to be dealing with this and share it with us. That is very impressive and you should be proud of yourself. The entire MGoBlog community will be thinking of you.

Over it.  Would have been

Over it.  Would have been nice but makes zero difference for 2018.  Silver lining is that perhaps it helps effect change on offensive coaching sooner.

That really was such a

That really was such a blatant hold.  I screamed at the TV when it happened.  Maybe our D-linemen need to take a lesson from NBA players on imbellishing a penalty / foul ...

Perrin does have some great

Perrin does have some great brews though, even if you avoid the more mass options they have. No Rules and Black Goat are awesome BBA brews.

If you want to see something

If you want to see something even worse take a look at Wisconsin's schedule.  They play one ranked team (us) all year.  Woof.

False dichotomy

That is a false dichotomy.  Those choices are not mutually exclusive.  You play the best players at the time to win the game.  By winning games you build a championship caliber team.

Also I would think coach would lose the respect of the current seniors on the team (and perhaps more players) if he were to tell them he doesn't care about this season anymore and he is just building towards future seasons.  Despite all the armchair quarterbacks we have in our fan base that are clamoring for this that is just not how running and motivating a team works.

How about Wildcat with the

How about Wildcat with the Hammering Panda? Play numbers game with QB power and teach him to run the read option.

And by the way I don't think

And by the way I don't think we can simplify it any more for JOK than we did today.

That is a bit absurd. Ruddock

That is a bit absurd. Ruddock evolved into an NFL draft pick in one yr under JH after fizzling out at Iowa. Speight was having an outstanding year last year until the bad night game at Iowa and subsequent shoulder injury. Speight had a rough start to the year and got hurt. JOK is the same player he has been for the last 2 years with some flashes of improvement but nothing consistent. Peters apparently isn't ready yet, but let's remember he is still only ~16 months removed from high school.
