I thought I would be more excited about going to the Final Four...but we were winning by like 20 the whole game! This level of comfort is something I can get used to!
He sounded an awful lot like Hoke with some of those answers. Best of luck to Jerry moving forward, and I'm sure it won't be long before he's a DC somewhere.
Do some physical therapy before the surgery. The better shape your leg is in before surgery, the faster you'll recover.
When choosing a surgery, I would recommend going the patellar tendon route.
I'm speaking from testing my ACL in May 2010 (my graduation present) playing soccer at Elbel Field. Had surgery the Tuesday after graduation and was playing soccer again in September.
Depending on the draws, I don't think an Indiana-Michigan matchup is out of the question. I'm excited to see how we'll match up with MSU when we play them. It's never "fun" to play Izzo's team, but it will be a yet another good barometer for where we are.
I, for one, plan to make up stats about this kid and talk about how awesome he was at Michigan to make other people feel like less of a Michigan fan than me.
I think people are missing the point of this rule. There were never limits in how often a recruit could call the school so more often than not you'd have coaches calling a kid and telling the kid to call back every so often.
Also, if a school annoys a kid, the kid probably won't go to that school. Seeing as the whole point of recruiting is to get kids to go to your school, schools probably won't use these new rules to relentlessly call kids.
And these rules are on par with what men's basketball has already and they experienced no problems with it. Basically men's basketball was the trial run, and now the NCAA has decided it's a good set of rules to extend to all sports.
I always thought the reasons people gave for why Denard couldn't play QB in the NFL were because (1) he's not an accurate enough thrower; (2) his decision making skills are not good enough; and (3) he is prone to injury.
Looking specifically at that third reason, how is moving him to a position that requires him to hit people going to prevent him from getting injured? Sadly, I think he needs to be a Desmond Howard-type, where he makes his living in the return game.
I don't know. I feel like we're going to lose quite a few pieces after this season and we'll be good but not national title contenders next season. So for bball this season will be out best shot in at least a few years.
For football, we're not only historically more of a power (this humans voting us higher) but I also think we're more likely to sustain high success.
Therefore I think football wins a NC before bball. But who knows--anything can happen in March.
I graduated high school in 2006, so things might have changed since then, but I applied to Michigan before Halloween and got deferred. They told me they wanted to see my 7th semester grades before reaching a decision.
When I got to Michigan and asked why that happened, they said that they might do that with students from high schools that don't normally send students to Michigan. That was the only explanation I got. However, I went to one of the best high schools in the state of Illinois even though not many people went to U of M (from my class of about 800, only two of us went to Michigan).
I know that's only my experience, but maybe it helps.
EDIT: Also, I had something like a 3.6 GPA, 32 ACT, and was an all-State soccer player.
He returned from his first injury to have a fantastic season this year until his injury. I think teams will take notice of that and draft him late. Running backs have a short shelf life generally, so a team won't take him too high. But he was spectacular at South Carolina, so I can't imagine he'd go undrafted.
"The school confirmed on Monday that the potential first-round pick will forgo his final season of eligibility and make himself available for the NFL draft in April, giving coach Urban Meyer an entire defensive line to rebuild in the offseason after losing the big man in the middle."

Jordan Morgan is in the College of Engineering now.
Some students really do want to take advantage of the resources available to them.
Not only two longs, but they were also the first two picks of the 2008 draft. Pretty cool.
This is amazing!
If by "winning out" you mean winning a national championship, then yes. I would say that would make up for the embarrassing loss.
You do remember that he almost left after last season right?

UT is now on a six game winning streak. Also, Cuonzo is 3-0 against Florida.
In integer news, Florida isn't that good away from home. It will be interesting to see know they get seeded come tourney time.

Best of luck. Hope that info helped.
If Madrid keeps playing like this, they're going to blow this match open.
Can't focus on anything today except this matchup, and I'm an Arsenal fan! Don't even care much about either team.
Now I'm craving No Thai.

Yuo don't think Charlie Weis will bring the Jawhawks to the promised land!?
Somewhere out there, Duke, Carolina, Kansas, Indiana, and Kentucky are laughing at us for how excited we are to be ranked #1 in January
But we'd beat all of them this season anyway, so screw it! Let's live it up! Our basektball team is amazing this season!
I think the NCAA is just getting rid of the stupid rules. You can scout a two year-old but you can't call a junior in high school.
Remember, the NCAA already has this rule in place for men's basketball. It's doing fine.
And the schools proposed and voted to adopt this rule, so I don't know why everyone seems to be blaming the NCAA staff.
I think people are missing the point of this rule. There were never limits in how often a recruit could call the school so more often than not you'd have coaches calling a kid and telling the kid to call back every so often.

I work in compliance and we have all been hoping this would pass. This makes our jobs SO much easier!
I love when decisions that don't seem to make sense work out in our favor!
I think it's Jourdan Lewis, Dymonte Thomas, Derrick Green, Jake Butt, Chris Fox.

ESPN is predicting first round

I think Chip Kelly is ready to take his game to the next level.
Pretty sure with or without the Heisman Curse, ND will probably lose to Bama.
