I had Michigan over Louisville in the final, which is why I'm 99.2 percentile on ESPN. Ranked 65,000 out of 8 million ploys brackets. Go Blue!

Rehab will be just regaining strength and endurance from weight-bearing and activity restrictions. Bone will heal fully in 3 months in a young, healthy, non-smoker, presuming there isn't any infection preventing fracture union. He may have anterior knee pain from the nail insertion site as his only lingering after effect.

Probably had weakened area related to overuse/stress and just landed the wrong way with enough force to fracture. But could have been some type of benign lytic lesion.

There is zero chance he loses his leg unless someone fucks up the operation or misses a compartment syndrome. He had a mid-shaft low-energy (open?) tibia and fibula fracture. There was no dislocation. Really a straight forward orthopaedic case. If there are any vascular injuries treatment will be timely enough so there are no permanent deficits.

Compound is no longer used. Now it is called an open fracture if the bone comes through the skin. Just FYI.
