This will be your thread for snowflakes and hot takes regarding the overall coaching performance in our game against Notre Dame.

For those who were complaining about “turtling” early in the second half:

When ND scored because of that horrible PI, Harbaugh was visibly upset and the team got more aggressive. The PI’s in our favor helped, but the playcalling stopped being conservative and the team called some downfield passes. And that allowed Michigan to quickly respond to Notre Dame’s gift touchdown. And we outscored them 28-7 after that, including allowing McCaffrey to throw when the game was out of reach.

So, give JH some credit.

Also: fade to Collins – 90% of the time, it works every time.

The contrast with the night rain monsoon against MSU two years ago is stark.

Ran the ball effectively. Didn’t overthink the passing game. Played field position and possession football when they needed to.

Then, best of all: late with a lead and the drying conditions: to the air. And again, for the kill to Collins.

Still a lot of work to do, but: win with character. Win with cruelty.

Not bad at all.

Right about the contrast to the MSU monsoon game.

With our Oline, qb and running backs we should be a run first outfit. Just pound the ball down Sparty's throat. Maryland too. And when OSU comes to town we have to control the ball and limit their offensive possessions. I think we might just have the makings of a powerful ground game.

Jim got his signature win tonight. Team played its best game tonight. Offense found itself tonight. Defense dominated tonight. Top ten performance against a top ten rival.

Couldn’t have asked for a better win!

Where the hell has this been the last couple years!  That was great coaching, great play calling, etc.  There was the passion, the emotion and the fire we've been wanting!  Hope it's here to stay

I said it before and I’ll say it again...it takes some serious coaching to get a treat ready after a loss like last week.

losing to IL broke Wisconsin. They won’t recover all year. UM could have easily been headfuc&@$ after last week.

JMFH. Nice job sir.
