Discuss evening games - go.

TX trying to upset OSU.  How does a TX team with less talent best a ranked team on the road?

oh wait ... no ‘constraints’?  No. That’s not it. Money cannon?  No. That’s not it.  Powerhouse in their conference sucks up all the recruits?  No.

Better coaching with lesser ranked players?

And OSU already up 7-0. It’s hard to imagine how big the gap between us and our main rival has become since Harbaugh became coach.  How does he not see he’s not the guy for this program? The loss today is simply indefensible. Bye bye harbaugh. That December press conference to announce his hiring, I had actual tears.

Penn State puts their corner on an island and an OSU TD because Fields is an NFL level talent. Wonder if Don Brown is watching this...

I've been a little out of the loop this year, but since when is Texas less talented than OK State?

Last year we were down, what, 21-0 to PSU?  And we were a dropped pass away from OT.

Actually the thing that gets me is that we don't seem to snatch victory away from the jaws of defeat much under Harbaugh.  We win a lot of impressive blowouts, which is cool.  But the dogfight games rarely go our way.  Part of it is that we can't seem to run a 2-minute drill properly, which is weird for a team coached by a former star QB.

The playoff field needs to be expanded.  The media has advanced the idea that if you don't make the playoff, your season is a failure.  Well, with only four teams in the playoffs, they're basically telling us our seasons are pointless once we lose one, and definitely twice.  That's not a recipe to keep fan interest.

Wait so we won that psu game from last year? Yes he beat a Northwestern team that started that season 0-3 I believe. MSU probably not a good team this year but will win some more games.

You could absolutely feel they were going to lose that game after a quarter and a half. Jim Harbaugh teams are soft. That’s why you have players sitting out for bowl games. It’s a product of the culture or whatever line Harbaugh used after beating Sparty. Bottom line: Jim Harbaugh teams can’t handle being punched in the mouth. If they can bully a team they win if they get bullied they fold up and lose.

Texas already has 2 losses and generally is just as over hyped as us. Not sure that’s should be our goal.

The gap between OSU and the rest of the B1G has become ridiculous

Why is Indiana a loss? They had less than 200 yards of total offense in regulation against PSU. Penn State gave that game away with missed FG’s, ill-times penalties, and turnovers. Not to mention the td gaffe that cost them the game. Indiana isn’t very good and they certainly aren’t a top 20 team. We will win that game by at least two scores.

the only games that concern me - Wisconsin, if they can even play. Penn State because their strength is our weakness, and OSU (I wouldn’t mind covid causing that game to be cancelled). I might have to drive to Indiana to bet on our boys if they are the underdogs in that game.

I’m actually still of the mindset that until IU beats us, I still peg us for a win. Yes, logic dictates we lose next week, but IU still has a massive mental block to get past with playing Michigan.

We’ve been to IU what OSU has been to us. Until they prove they can mentally handle getting over that hump, that game is a win.
