For me it is probably EECS

For me it is probably EECS 381.  The content wasn't hard to understand, but the workload was immense for a 4 credit course.  On top of taking Introduction to Cryptography and a total of 16 credit hours while doing job interviews, I was completely swamped for my last term.

Last year after Michigan lost

Last year after Michigan lost a close one to Iowa people were saying how Michigan was going to get destroyed in the Ohio State Game.  Ohio State has looked quite vulnerable against Penn State and Indiana.  I think the game will be a lot closer than what most people are saying it will be.

The game has the feeling of

The game has the feeling of San Diego State from 2011.

No, there was one more home

No, there was one more home game.  The 2014 slate only has 7 games while 2011 had 8.  That and 2011 had ND, Nebraska,  and OSU were at home.  You're paying the same for one less home game and a piss poor slate of games compared to 2011.

I certainly do not miss the snow after moving last

I certainly do not miss the snow after moving last year to California. In fact today has been the nicest day this month with sun and 70 degrees. An old friend was visiting from NC and planned to fly out today. A miracle his flight was not cancelled from the sounds of it.

The off season came sooner

The off season came sooner than I expected.  I don't see why this isn't OT though.

My old high school as well.

My old high school as well.

I went to every single home game, but that was because I was with the Marching band.  Did get to see a couple thrillers though.

Before the season started, I

Before the season started, I pegged this as a loss when mapping out Big Ten wins and losses for all the teams.  But if all goes to my predictions for Michigan, it would mean we won't lose another game.

Was at the game.  Go Tigers!

Was at the game.  Go Tigers!  Onward to Boston.

The reason why temptation is

The reason why temptation is played on fourth down is because to keep a drive alive it is often very tempting to go for it on fourth down.  On third down there isn't any temptation to try for a first down because that is a given.

Looking at the Akron Offense

Looking at the Akron Offense UFR myself, most of the comments at least provide reasoning to their assessment.  The negative comments are usually based in the UFR (For example Brian's assessment of Fitz and Miller).  While the large portion of comments aren't necessarily rooted clear obvervation and analysis, they aren't completely baseless.

Though I do agree the comments are largely negative.

I would agree that insulting

I would agree that insulting players is not okay, but I think constructive crticism with evidence on why one player could/should be played over another should be fine.  The problem is people often times let their emotions take control of their posts, especially on game day probably because of having too much to drink.

However, I think that  a no warning perma ban for "Wow gardner sucks." after he throws a pick in a game would probably be a bit much.

While I recently graduated, I

While I recently graduated, I was still able to use a student ticket off another student.  I went to the Notre Dame game, and while the game was good, the new system was certainly a detractor to my experience.  I arrived 2 hours before the game, ended up in the endzone less than 1/4 way up.  Sitting there for 2 hours crammed like sardines was certainly not enjoyable in what I would think were ok seats.  The area was predominantly freshmen who clearly did not know what to do during a game.  I even got heckled for being "too loud" when Notre Dame was on a third down.  On a positive note during the game the row lightened up (maybe people moved up?) and I was able to stand comfortable, but the 2 hour wait was not fun.

My memory of the 2011 Notre Dame game in row one of section 26 is much fonder.  Arrived simply an hour before the game started with no problems getting to my seat and ample room to sit.  The stadium filled up easily before pre game.  Of course I was with mostly seniors who knew what it took to be a good student section.  The area I was sitting in knew how to generate noise and my ears were ringing by the end of the game.  While it did get somewhat crowded where I was sitting probably from people sitting where they weren't supposed to, people were courteous and respectful.

Rather than pure GA they probably could have developed a hybrid system and allow greater incentives to go to cupcake games (As big games never had a problem of getting filled).  Right now there isn't really anything for students to do during the wait other than talk with strangers around you.  That and the inadequate infastructure on gameday in regards to cell service makes using your cellphone nearly impossible in the stadium.  Getting out of your seat usually means that you won't be able to get it back, so you can't just walk around and enjoy the stadium while keeping your seat.

At least we have a week where

At least we have a week where the team doesn't have to focus on the upcoming game.  Hopefully they are able fix the mistakes we have been seeing the past two weeks.

Looking at the Wayback

Looking at the Wayback machine Non-pocket seat cushion have always been on the Permitted Items list. (unfortunately the last update was in May, so there may be something during the off season that it missed).  When was the announcment (or quiet policy change) made for the banning of seat cushions?

Nice.  You could at least get

Nice.  You could at least get BTN off comcast.net, but now I can use it on my other devices other than my computer.

For big games in the past, I

For big games in the past, I recall there being rally towels and flags (for all fans) which typically ran out before kick off.  So I suppose this kind of thing isn't new, but it can't hurt to advertise these things to entice students to arrive before kick off.

I was a junior and had

I was a junior and had received 1st row seats (Not A or B though) in section 25 in 2011, so priority becomes negligible pretty quickly once you get pretty close to the field.

Link for information

At least since 2009 you order them online.

Note: "New students (incoming freshmen, new graduate and transfer students) can order in June."

Last year student experience

Being in the student section last year, I sat near row 30 section 26 you'd think people would respect each others space with assigned seats there but you are sorely mistaken.  People  cram as many as they could in our area so we couldn't even stand facing the field (with the exception of the Illinois game, because the weather was terrible).

During the MSU game people were actively trying to forcibly push me and my brother out of our seats.  Spent much of the game fighting with them to keep our spots (which were ours, and we arrived 30 minutes before the game)  Absolutely ruined the game for us.

So to answer your concerns, it is arleady happening.  If we so much as moved our feet don't expect to get that space back.  If you leave don't expect to return.

If they keep playing like

If they keep playing like this, Illinois is well on their way to have single digit points in the second half.
