I think our OL is going to surprise a lot of the Big Ten this year.
He still looked a bit light for Hoke's liking. I see nothing changed in the weight room post-barwis. What about diet?

I didn't see any power clean platforms.
August 6th, 2011 at 12:02 PM ^
2:50 - 3:05.
The platforms are in the floor, and the racks have adjustable support arms. You can clean from the floor or go off of the support arms to clean from the hang. The arms are great for weighted step-ups, too.

Lot of magic going on in Schembechler hall
Is it just me, or does Omameh have a little of a Ladies Man/Tim Meadows thing going on?
I couldn't think of who it was. You nailed it!
I was thinking he reminded me of Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop.

He immediately reminded me of Prince Be from PM Dawn. Kind of old school but that is who he sounds like to me. Set adrift on memory bliss.
But Patrick definitely has the real thing going on. His Countdown to Kick-off interview a year (or two?) ago was one of my favorites. That hidden smile when he was coy talking about why a Columbus boy would choose to come to Michigan... He's got that same inner smile here throughout, getting me smiling for the whole tour. Magic, yes?
Here's a good look at all of the football facilities. Patrick plays it down a little but you can see he's proud of the place. Look's like the best of everything, as you would expect. It would be interesting to see the OL/DL working out in the weight room. The numbers must be crazy.
Thanks for posting.
Interesting that there doesn't appear to be any machines in the weight room, just free weights. Glad we aren't going back to the machines.
Patrick is the most magical, beautiful man I've ever seen. And JT is the committiest and dreadiest..
was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. You must be a beautiful person.

Magical or beautiful as Dhani. Patrick can be #2
Nice inside look to areas I hadn't seen before. Patrick seemed to account well for himself. Well spoken young man.
I wonder if they are still offering chocolate milk...
Damn, that player's lounge is insanely nice.
This is where the magic happens

It has a Comfort Inn factor to it.
Does anyone know if they offer tours of Schembechler to the public? I've always wanted to see the trophies in person; experience the tradition in person.

I know schools take field trips to Schembechler. They are limited to just seeing the museum area though. So if you're a parent of teacher you could push for that.
Also, it might be possible to pay more for the stadium tour to include Junge Center and Schembechler.
I went there last summer, I sent a really pleading e-mail to the guy who runs the place, and he admitted my Dad and I for a really nice, excusive tour. I also told him I was an Alum, and what a huge fan I was.
"This is where the magic happens." I hope to be saying that a lot this season
Anyone know where the magic happens?
I liked the "Beat Ohio" sign in the weight room. Good look at it around the 3:15 mark.
Tekken 5? I would have went with a Street Fighter 2: Turbo cabinet.
Lots of interesting things on the walls in the meeting room. I like it.
August 6th, 2011 at 10:03 AM ^
The schedule in the meeting room had "state" in green and just "Ohio" at the end.
August 6th, 2011 at 10:10 AM ^
Brady probably has decreed that the term "Michigan State" should not be used, as it has 50% of his own team's name in theirs. From henceforth, just State.
Actually...a lot of MSU fans I know feel the same way...

Was there a sign on the wall, left of the projector screen that had the days since we last beat Ohio? It was around the 6:20-6:30 mark of the video. I thought the number was 2811 or something. I heard we had countdown clocks, but didn't know we had a "days since" calendar as well. Nice that it is front and center, staring the players in the face when they are in there for meetings. I can't wait until that number is 0 after this year.
-Beat Ohio!
Partrick the gentle giant Omameh, very well spoken. Would of loved to see more players, and coaches. Especially in the weight room. What player wouldn't want to come to Michigan. The facilties are unbelievable.
I want an air hockey table and a pool table for my future man cave now.

Is Adam Stenavich part of the staff now or is he just training people?

Wow does Patrick ever carry his weight well. I wonder how big he would have to get to really have that OL belly.
August 6th, 2011 at 10:12 AM ^
Boy needs some pizza
Seriously? He's over 300lbs. That would be an enormous rush end. I'm not saying he needs to lose weight, but that's a very big dude.

Its good to see JT's dedication

these to countdown to the start of this year's quest for greatness. People think we won't be back for a few years, but I think we start the new chapter now. Go Blue!!!
August 6th, 2011 at 10:40 AM ^
Watch out, a certain imposing head coach might take issue with your statement that Michigan needs to be "back."
August 6th, 2011 at 10:38 AM ^
I think it looks like he's put on a few pounds. Could be up to 315 his senior season
August 6th, 2011 at 11:26 AM ^
Anyone notice in the team meeting room, to the left of the projection screen, there is a sign that says OHIO with the number 2811 below it?
It occurs around the 6:28 mark.
Is that a days since we've beat them or something? If so, I think I may vomit. I was at that last win in 2003. And all I can say is it's time for this BS to end.
August 6th, 2011 at 12:31 PM ^
Yeah, normally I am wary of looking ahead to opponents too much but I think that big old calendar is going to motivate the team very well. I can't wait to put an end to it.
August 6th, 2011 at 11:29 AM ^
That was a tremendous video, great job Patrick.
"This is the locker room, where our lockers are." That was a great video and he does look bigger than he did last year.
I believe that's a picture of Butch Woolfolk over Omameh's shoulder on the All-American wall.
Is a fairly recent addition. I want to make myself a slushie now.
I would have never guessed that in just a few years a two star, 235 pound defensive end would be one of our best linemen.

Will Smith there.
