at Ohio might be decent, but look at history. Urban likes to run the QB and pass short all day. He will occaisionaly run with the backs about as much as he throws deep. Ohio RB's will slowly start to take the back seat now that this new offense is in place. It's actually not that different from RR's spread attack in many ways... This makes me pretty happy because the excellent running backs have always been the hardest thing to stop when we play the Buckeyes IMO. |

this story isn't freaking people out like it's freaking me out. This is our THINNEST position on the entire team, and one of our projected starters is busy eating fifty pizzas a day to bulk up into a three technique! I realize we have frosh coming in to save the day, but they are frosh. That's scary to me, and Chris looked decent holding up the line in the spring game. He was one of three interior DL who stood out to me when I was in the stands that day (Campbell was not one of them). Now maybe I don't know anything, and maybe he wouldn't have played - but I see a spot where we need all the help we can get and losing a big body inside is bad bad bad news. Please talk me off the ledge. thanks. |

I really think that although there is little evidence that CRAIG JAMES KILLED 5 HOOKERS, given his history of taking money and being a cheater this is entirely possible. I think we keep this game close because of our decent defense and their mediocre offense. Then Denard will go "all Denard' on them at the end of the game and we win. Then I get to call in to Paul Finebaum and just gloat every day for a year. I can't wait... Go Blue!!! |

Surprise - How about Ryan Mundy? That guy got solid playing time wtih the Steelers, and I don't think anybody really ever game him a legit shot. Another option - Breaston - dude is a stud in the NFL, and really has stepped up his entire game Disapointment - Rob Renes. That guy used to forklift people into the backfield and dominate the middle like none other. I remember a game where he bodyslammed the RB and QB during the handoff exchange at one time. He had a back injury... too bad. Another option - Mike Hart was so amazing in college, I thought for sure he would be a great NFL back. |

the fleecing will not stop. The point is to have most of the profits of said fleecing to go to the schools, who are responsible for providing this entire event. It's like charging a band money to play a show at a stadium. Ridiculous. Anything that starts the tournament ball rolling is awesome in my eyes. I still want at least a 16 team bracket. If you include 16, then small schools from crap conferences actaully have a shot for the first time in a long time. A four team playoff still excludes the small undefeated schools who might actaully have a legit shot at a title. I can always dream.... Plus think about how many years Michigan would be in. People who think teams would throw games at the end of the season aren't college football fans. They will never understand.
