So I'm sure I missed this, but I tried googling it and found nothing. I read Spencer/Orson's thing on FSU/Clemson linked at the bottom and was wondering if he ever got that Michigan tattoo or had anything about it?
Should we root for Werenski/Connor to be drafted by a certain team? I know that some like to rush their prospects and make it harder for them to stay in college and others (like the Red Wings) are fine with them staying. With Werenski looking like a top ten pick, his team will need obviously need help, but is there a team we should hope they go to or don't go to?
Steve Lorenz had said that he was asked to wait to announce the commitment until Burnett got back to Cali, but Gorney must have leaked it early. He probably committed to the coaches but didn't want it public.
Pretty sure you misread the 247 post on Westphal... this is a direct quote from the post you linked: "I did not consider a commitment this weekend and I don't feel ready for a commitment in general right now."
Ok, so I'm just saying.. Auburn's Scout site just said Ty Isaac was supposed to be at Auburn but chose to visit Ann Arbor this weekend for the basketball game instead....
I would say yes if it weren't for kick coverage.. That's one of the biggest things we have to fix right meow. It's bad when EMU is getting to the 30/40 yard line consistently on kickoffs.
Agreed. His story is unbelievable and he sounds like an amazing kid who's been through so much. All of that drama he's been through has probably made him into a great guy, and he's a heck of an athlete as well. I'd love to see him and Powe in the maize and blue
Do you guys think Coleman will be offered? He's a great athlete and impressed people in the 7on7s this summer, but we're pretty stacked in the 5'9 WR area. He seems a little bit like Dennis Norfleet this year
But I agree on Martin, Molk, and Denard. I'm not really sure who the leaders are on the defense, but I would think Woolfolk would be a good candidate. Or maybe Demens?
I never know how to feel about the DL stuffing those power runs. I want to be excited that our DL looks impressive, but then I want to be sad because our running game is failing.
I think the ideal candidates to not lose any quality would be JC3, DG, Magnus, or Ace (not Williams).
Of course, I have faith in Brian if he hires an outside guy. He really found some good ones in Tim and Tom.
Ideally, there would be two different positions. It'd be nice to have an evaluator (like Tim) and someone who gives interviews and gets to know the recruits (Tom). It'd be tough to combine them into one position.
Hayes could have a chance to be the third down back, but I think Smith is definitely the leader, and it's looked like he's been very impressive so far this fall. He's gotta be the one they're talking about
These guys just seem like they're having so much fun all the time. Also, I'm guessing his roommate was supposed to be Kellen Jones.. Would make sense IMO
No. He's said it would be cool to play with Bri'onte and that he would like to, but he's been trying to get Bri'onte to Michigan.
Although, it should be stated that he does not have an OSU offer yet. So if he picks one up (which he probably will), that could change things and he could be drawn there with Bri'onte. Which would suck.

Gary is in the Under Armour game. He also has a USC visit set up for mid-January, so it'll probably be NSD.

I logged in just so I could upvote this.
That picture isn't Messiah DeWeaver..
For the introductions, they actually announced four starters at LB - Ryan, Morgan, Bolden, and RJS
Backup kicker is Kenny Allen, not Alex Mitropolous-Rundus. He's a DE. They're both #91 if that's where the confusion came from?
I know on John Street just by the lumber yard there's an apartment complex that allows dogs.
I'm not going to divulge premium information, but his dad posted on the 247 board and we have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Does that say the Australian punter is 6'7?
48 - 0 Michigan
And he was a little too white to be Norfleet.
1st play is Jake
lakeside:
1st play is Jake Ryan (90) on defense, not Ricardo Miller.
The RB in the 3rd play is Joey Kerridge (36), not Norfleet.
Blake Bars is #62 in the fourth play.
In play 7, it's Jerald Robinson (83) who gets demolished by Kovacs.
75 is Mike Schofield in the 10th play.
The RB in the Lewan/Roh 12th play is Thomas Rawls (38)
Joey Kerridge (36) is the RB in play 14.
MSU QB Damian Terry and OSU QB-but-not-really Jalin Marshall are also there
David Dawson also plans to EE.

If it's on his basketball show, wouldn't it be a basketball commit?
*to tie the record..
Any chance that we try to get a big bodied WR out there? Maybe Jeremy Clark or even Cam Gordon if he's still stuck in the LB depth chart?
According to Steve Wiltfong, Robert Foster does not have an offer yet.
Do we know that Yuri Wright is planning to commit on January 7th? He has an OV tentatively planned for Michigan on January 13th.
Call me crazy, but I actually don't think that will happen.
We have to beat OSU, and we don't know if we'd go to the Sugar or FIesta if we do... This might be premature

24/7 has him having "interest" in five schools: Michigan, Oregon (offer), Oregon St. (offer), Stanford, and Tennessee.
Not sure how much to make of that, but let's just hope he can make it out for a visit. 6'1 205ish with a 10.38 100 is impressive

Is the game showing anywhere on TV / online?
Denard?
So that's good news in regards to his "top 3" of TAMU and LSU.
Also, no NCAA investigations yet LSU in his top 3? Hmm..
That's too bad, but it seems like our DL recruiting has come down to Danny O'Brien or none. Wish him the best of luck except when he plays us.
Upvoting yourself is lame.

EDIT: Obviously late on asking you to add your name to the title, sooo...
Thanks, Ace. It's surprising enough that they named a Michigan player #1, but even more surprising is that it's not Kalis.
Looking forward to more good updates from you
I love how he says "we" were minus-32 in turnover margin the last three years. Those are just the little things that make me love this guy.

What about Chet?? He knows all the recruits...
Shallman's been told many times that he's being recruited as a RB. Think Brandon Jacobs or some other big bruising monster
Nice job, Tim! Hopefully nothing happens to MGoBlog, but it's nice that these guys are getting noticed for their hard work.

It's those damned Bucknuts' fault.. wishing him an injury..
Oh well.. best of luck to him. Hopefully we can still get Yuri Wright
First day with pads today! Woo!
Also, I think I missed this, but what happened to Mattison's knee?
Gameday for basketball and football, nice! Does anyone know how many, if any, other schools are hosting both this year?
