Countdown to Kickoff Day 21: Junior Heminway
Thanks for the embed, Boyz n da Pahokee!
Also, per Kyle Kalis' Facebook, he dislocated his knee cap. I never saw the outcome in the earlier thread, so I apologize is this has already been covered.
"so everyone can stop texting me about why happened go my knee...... I dislocated my knee cap and ill be back in a week!!!"
(I am 18 and I have a few mutual friends with him so it's not as creepy as say a 48 year old man being friends with him.)
my brother dislocated his knee last year in basketball practice, its paniful as hell but its something you can fully recover from.
It was his knee CAP, aka patella. If he had dislocated his knee he would be done for the season.
I watched this side line interview and came away thinking, "He's having the time of his life." So few get the chance to compete at this level and enjoy the comradely that football has to offer. The closest I ever came to something like this, was my experience in the Navy.
They're fighting to make the grade in the classroom and fighting for a position on the field. In both cases, they have team mates pulling for them. It has to be a good feeling.
Good times. Go Blue!!!
Good times. Go Blue!!!
And Karsch doesn't look freakishly talker than him, so he's probably only 6'3" or 6'4".
These guys just seem like they're having so much fun all the time. Also, I'm guessing his roommate was supposed to be Kellen Jones.. Would make sense IMO
Wouldn't be shocked if that were the case at all.
It seems like they are usally matched up with someone from their position group though, so my guess is that Hemingway doesn't have a freshman roommate because their are no freshman wide receivers.
Dong forest sighting!
Junior looks like he's in really great shape. That's awesome.
Just FYI, the link in the OP is not to the CTK, its to the video of the first day of pads. Also good to watch
or is that Seth Broekhuizen covering him at 0:57? He's the only #46 I see on the roster.
Junior is what, 6'2" or so. And Doug Karsh towers over him. I didn't realize he was so tall. He's gotta be 6'5" or 6'6".
Seems like a good kid. Hope he is able to stay healthy and go out with a great senior year. These seniors deserve it after the last 3 years.
I think hes gonna have a big year. Love his ability to go up an get the fooball on deep throws. Come on Hemingway im pulling for ya.
