Excellent straw man there.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
Ouch, do not want.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
It's official...@gatorsfb and & @umichfootball will face off in the #CFAPeachBowl! pic.twitter.com/qbh0Nb6Moi

Why is a New Year's 6 game on December 29th?
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
Because it’s the shittiest one.
I honestly have no clue why. It basically isn’t a true NY6 bowl.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:21 PM ^
Currently the Citrus and Outback Bowls are on January 1st. Who really cares about that? Move those over earlier and move the Peach to January 1st to make it a true NY6 bowl. Right now we're just warm up entertainment for the semi-final games.
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:42 PM ^
The playoff games are the same day, so are they crappy games as well?
December 2nd, 2018 at 5:09 PM ^
But it is a NY6 bowl. If it wasn’t it’d be called the NY5 bowls. It’s the same level as the Fiesta Bowl basically as they both get the leftovers after Rose and Sugar.
December 2nd, 2018 at 6:38 PM ^
Why is a New Year's 6 bowl not on New Year's day? That's so stupid
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:55 PM ^
It's on December 29th because it's a Saturday.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
yuck...
...Frankly, I hope this doesn't deflate the team too much and...let's see some new stuff from the offense,,,I am tired of Florida like everyone else
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
That's another shitty aspect to this. After those past 2 beatdown games, Florida is probably going to be a lot more motivated and focused on this game than our players will. Coaches have their work cut out for them on this not being a letdown bowl game.
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:19 PM ^
Using that logic, shouldn't we be motivated about the OSU loss? That should be a lot more fresh in our memories than the 2017 season opener for them.
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:42 PM ^
Well, let's hope so but I tend to think motivation is tied to the opponent and not the last game. See also the Revenge Tour theme.
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:39 PM ^
I'm sure Florida is tired of us kicking their ass too. I just can't see any excitement for this game from either school.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
aka nap time
December 2nd, 2018 at 5:05 PM ^
You nap at noon on Saturdays?
Sweet life!
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
Fuuuuck
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
God I hate bowls at this point...we've literally never played LSU. People in charge are idiots.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
They say they want the best ratings and to avoid repeat matchups and then don't pick a first time ever matchup between premier programs and put the biggest TV pull on December 29th at fucking noon against a team we've played 3 times now in 4 years.
Committee chair on TV just said it was because we deserved to be close to home. What. the. fuck.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:24 PM ^
We can NEVER be close to home unless we play in fucking Ford Field. Every good bowl game is in the south. Geography is not hard people
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:32 PM ^
I'm glad they gave northern Michigan fans a 2 hour plane ride instead of a 5 hour plane ride. Really gave us the home field advantage there. Not to mention that there's A TON OF FLORIDA FANS IN ATLANTA.
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:43 PM ^
Gainesville is also only about a 4.5/5 hr drive to Atlanta. And that includes that shitty Atlanta traffic. It's a good 10 hr drive from Ann Arbor, but nice to be close to home...I guess.
December 2nd, 2018 at 6:02 PM ^
There are a lot of us Michigan fans here in the Phoenix area as well.
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:30 PM ^
We wouldn’t want to take that bowl game away from Sharty
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:27 PM ^
I just about punched the TV at that one. He directly contradicts himself within about twenty seconds...
December 2nd, 2018 at 8:48 PM ^
If they really wanted the best ratings, they should've had a clue what the fan bases thought.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
Fuck this, we should’ve been in the Fiesta. Boycott this garbage Peach bowl against Florida fucking again.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:24 PM ^
I'm in the same boat. I don't know why but I am so fucking irritated by this matchup.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:14 PM ^
I love how ESPN is incapable of research. On the tv screen where it showed the Florida/Michigan matchup, it read that Florida defeated Michigan 41-7 in the 2016 citrus bowl.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
FUCK THAT
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
The committee is run by idiots
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:27 PM ^
And the idiots are run by a committee
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
College football sucks now.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:15 PM ^
All the ingredients were present for some very intriguing non-playoff bowl matchups. Michigan-LSU. UCF-Florida.
And we get this. Again.
I gotta say it, folks: I love my Wolverine football with a passion, but right now, I have exactly ZERO interest in this game.
That'll change in the next few weeks, I'm sure. But damn. Come on.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:19 PM ^
Oh but according to the committee this is a reward for Michigan for being higher ranked. Apparently the Peach Bowl is closer to home. Let's just forget the fact that it's still 1000 miles away and in Florida's back yard.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:30 PM ^
They always say that shit they say it's a reward for players to go somewhere nice to play in a bowl game and then they leave all the Florida teams at home playing in Florida or the SoCal teams play in in California for the Texas teams playing in Texas the committee is full of shit
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
Well at least we should be able to get a W ... I mean that’s the important thing right ??
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
That’s what I thought last year against SC..
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
So many exciting possibilities, and they choose this garbage. Disgusting. Time to focus on basketball.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
Terrible.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
Awesome... 3 out of 4 years now, literally the matchup NO ONE WANTS!
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:29 PM ^
In fairness, it's 2 Bowl games (outside of our control) and 1 regular season game.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:35 PM ^
Um no, he is correct. 2016 citrus bowl, last year to start the season, and now the Peach bowl.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:49 PM ^
That is literally what I just said...2 Bowl Games and I regular season game, you are saying the same thing I am..
December 2nd, 2018 at 4:44 PM ^
Uh, but before you revised your comment you told everyone to "STOP" saying we've played them 3 times in 4 years and "don't confuse Florida with South Carolina and FSU," which no one was doing.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:36 PM ^
Are you fucking serious? You think people are confusing Florida State for Florida?? Do you wanna tell me who Michigan played in the season opener last year? That might help clear up your confusion on the fact that we HAVE PLAYED FLORIDA 3 TIMES IN THE LAST FOUR YEARS
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:39 PM ^
Some guy thought we hadn't played three times in the last four years, so I gently corrected him and he politely deleted his comment
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:39 PM ^
Glad to see you edited your comment before anyone saw it.
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:42 PM ^
seriously? did you not watch the week 1 thrashing we gave fla last year?
December 2nd, 2018 at 3:17 PM ^
As if this season couldn't end any shittier.
And the CFP chairman said they sent UM to Atlanta because it's "closest to home for them"
What?! Who gives a damn.
