How are you going to seriously play the unbiased card when your whole shtick is pretending Urban Meyer is afraid of Jim Harbaugh and runs a gimmick offense?
I am very aware OSU had no ability to move the ball for three quarters. Were flat-out dominted. Where was your defense to shut down Meyer's gimmick in the 4th and OT, though? I mean you blame the refs, and that's your right, but you're upset at them for a missed DPI on OSU and on a 50/50 spot call. I can see your point on those two calls, but that didn't cause Michigan to get outgained by 100 yards in the 4th.

OSU has owned Michigan for the past 15 years because they had the superior team (talent and/or coaching) in 12 or so of those years. OSU deserved to win all those games, including 2006 where the game was not as close as the 3 point OSU win imo.
This year was a travesty...there were not just 2 missed calls as is the narrative OSU fans and the B1G likes to sell. There were 3 egregious PI's missed, one early in the game where he just straight up throws the player down, another where Butt gets tackled as the ball is still 5 yards away from him, and of course the OT PI which is always a PI, not a judgment call.
Meanwhile, Barret chucks a ball 6 feet over Samuel's head and gets a PI in the 4th quarter - now that is a "judgment" call.
Dude, unbiased reporters were tweeting and posting all throughout the game about how poorly and one-sided the officiating was. Get outside your OSU bubble and you would see that its not only UM fans that saw the officiating absurdity.
The point that if UM was 1) better 2) didn't make mistakes 3) could close out games are all noted - but none of these points disqualify them from getting a fair shake in how the game is reffed.
1 penalty for 1 yard in all of regulation, as self admitted Buckeye fan reffing the game? Come on dude, take off the Scarlett and Grey glasses.

If you're older than 17 years old and this is the way you communicate, you should probably kill yourself.

When osu's offense is doing well it's because of meyer and when its not it's the oc's fault. I really feel the hire only matters if they can have their o-line back and elliot. I just don't see that happening chief. They have not replaced those players and samuel is gone know. Defense good but offense noooooo.

The offense was seriously underachieving for most of 2015 with Cardale, JT, Braxton, Mike Thomas, 4/5ths of the OL and your boy 'Zeke. The only difference from 2014 was the OC.

One of the most exceptional coaching jobs of the last ten years? Seriously? The guy never had a winning record.

Kevin Wilson is a genius at offense...
January 10th, 2017 at 5:51 PM ^
So your point is Wilson only improved Indiana's offense by an average of 20 places? And after the first year where he was implementing his totally new system, an average of 30 places? Ok.

Sorry, half the board topics in the last few hours have been about OSU, I forgot what blog I was visiting.

Couldn't buy the national refs I guess.

You know, the only thing worse than being shut out in the CFP is losing to the team that got shut out in the CFP. Michigan's done it two straight years, I guess you'd know.

OSU deserved to be there, they just weren't good enough to compete with either of the two best teams. Someone had to fill the 3 and 4 slots, though.

Anybody that isn't an OSU fan was calling out how ridiculous the officiating was during the game. You got bailed out. Your team was one dimensional and was then exposed again on the national stage - only this time no refs to bail you out.
Gimmick offense exposed.

You know, I think Michigan was a better team than OSU this year. I also think they outplayed OSU in Columbus, and if OSU played them again, they would lose.
Alas, if you truly "dominate" someone, you should be ahead by enough points that a missed PI call on a 5 yard slant doesn't cause you to lose the game. Michigan didn't put OSU away when it had 1,000 different chances to do so. They got steamrolled 125 to 5 in total offense in the 4th quarter. So much so that OSU ended up with more total yards for the game, which was unfathomable to me sitting there in the middle of the 3rd quarter watching OSU go 3 and out every drive.
So I don't know what to tell you. Quite frankly, I'm glad you believe the refs made the difference between a win and a loss for Michigan, because that way the game will haunt you forever. You probably never think about the 2015 asskicking in Ann Arbor, but I bet you think about 2016 in Columbus often. Good stuff.

Neutered offense.

Because we don't have Najee Harris to talk about.

So one meh season of offense makes him a "shitty" play-caller. Nevermind what they did long, long ago in a year called 2015. Got it.
