you can't be a 'blood' and wear blue.  bloods wear red.  you can only be a crip.   and for those that are interested, a crip would call a blood a 'slob', because they won't use 'b' as the first letter.  likewise, a blood will call a crip an 'e-ricket' or sometimes a 'cricket'.

this has been your gangster short lesson for the day.

I enjoyed watching him play. (No, he's not perfect and, no, that doesn't mean I enjoyed the team's performance.) I can't think of another Michigan player quite like him.

That's really an important thing.  Many of us pursue our dreams - and, though there's competition in most every field - professional athletics is a cut and dried business - so, a degree is a good thing to have with you in case dreams don't come true.

Wishing Dug well.   And, I'm pretty sure he won't have any problems with his credits transferring.

Going to a virtually open admissions university, Dug should have significantly less problems keeping up academically at KSU.  I do wonder if he managed to bring his grades up last semester, or if he would have been eligible at Michigan going forward.

For good reasons he wasn't really heralded as a recruit but you could see flashes in his game. He made a one handed no look pass from the key to a guy open underneath the basket, opened my eyes. When he got here he immediately competed. Then he got his shot going too. Good luck Dug!

Can't get worked up about Dug leaving. Was he the best player on the team? OK, sure. But since that team lost three times as many games as it won, and lost 17 of 20 conference games, that doesn't mean much. Being the best player on a team this bad, in the words of Charles Emerson Winchester, is like being the best hockey player in Equador.
