It’s the obvious racial stereotype I object to.
Like I should extra credit if a black kid can speak well.
You would never hear Foster Loyer is well spoken

I love Michigan football
I’m not indifferent to Michigan footbal, but I’ll be damned if I let a Michigan football game make me angry with anyone associated with the program because they lost a football game.

On to Iowa tonight for another M team I won’t get angry at over a loss. Not that I think they will lose.

Coach Harbaugh, from his perspective might prefer the scholarship to another year of Malzone not being a realistic option. I was surprised when Harbaugh said after Speight’s injury that McCafferty was third in rotation behind O’Korn and Peters.
Malzone for his part can pick a school of his choice and possibly start for two seasons while furthering his education and living a dream. Pretty sweet to be Malzone

MAAR not a pg, that’s the main reason he won’t play pg, especially with 3 pg’s on the roster. Depth behind MAAR and Matthews is biggest hole on team imo, so I wouldn’t expect MAAR to play point on this team even if capable

11/22/2017 - 7:57pm I was at the game and Brooks

I was at the game and Brooks defensive lapse was on Coach Beilein. Beilein was at half court waving for either Brooks or Simpson to switch with Robinson who was one on one with pg. Both Brooks and Simpson were confused on what to do, finally Brooks made is ill fated switch attempt, but only because he thought the coach was asking him to. I bet Coach Beilein owns it in Presser.

11/22/2017 - 7:47pm Hard to prove anything when

Hard to prove anything when you don’t play. Davis can play (I strongly believe) he just needs opportunity.

11/15/2017 - 7:09pm I have a hunch Spanellis is

I have a hunch Spanellis is the starting Center, with Ruiz and Onwenu at guard. Reports earlier of Ruiz backing up Bredeson and Spanellis backing up Kugler. Plus Spanellis being a bright lad and knowing all the calls at Center. Added bonus of Ruiz looking like a dynamite guard.

Poole has already played: North Florida

Beilein seems to favor Brooks sa I expect if push come to shove, Brooks will be ahead of Ibi in rotation

Spanellis is a red shirt freshman they can roll his big ass out there whenever they deem necessary.

10/25/2017 - 2:09pm Good stuff.
I don’t see Teske

Good stuff.

I don’t see Teske ever being a force on the boards. Other than being tall, he doesn’t have attributes of a good rebounder. Davis on the other hand has a chance to be best rebounder on the team, and probably will be sooner rather than later.

I have seen Weems play. Very good player for his age, but a must get? I don't think so. I don't think Weems will be a Wolverine; confident that the program will be fine, whatever young Weems decides to do about college.

No snark zone; wondering if you're still tired of Coach Beilein? I ask because your opinions are solid, coupled with surprise you felt that way in the first place.

09/11/2017 - 1:59am I disagree with the notion

I disagree with the notion this roster is in a "hole". Most talented M football roster I've seen in some time. This is a young and exciting team, fun to watch, if you are not watching through the lens of anything less than a national championship is a huge letdown.

Brandy sucks as play by play announcer.
I listened to a little of MSU yesterday with Blaha on the call. Nice listening to a pro. Michigan fans deserve better than what Brandy offers.

09/10/2017 - 3:58pm Hmmmm maybe most fan bases

Hmmmm maybe most fan bases are reasonable but it's skewed by the weirdos who spend an inordinate amount of time pseudo analyzing things on blogs. I think it also helps that OSU was thoroughly beaten in the game lowering fans anger and raising apathy levels.
Also no alcohol sold in the stadium had to help. Nothing rivals alcohol in bringing out the worst in a sports fan.

04/14/2017 - 6:50pm Haven't seen a ton of Trey in

Haven't seen a ton of Trey in NBA but I don't think his skill set is his prime impediment. He's simply not big or athletic enough to succeed as a pg at the NBA level. I think he will have a long career but never going to be a star, probably not even a starter at the NBA level. Hope he proves me wrong

04/02/2017 - 1:27pm Let me measure my excitement

Let me measure my excitement for Wilton Speight. On second though no, I will not entertain such a stupid fucking question.

03/28/2017 - 8:04pm I don't think of it as Brooks

I don't think of it as Brooks vs Simpson. I think eventually, the plan is to play 2 of Simpson, Brooks, and DeJulius together for long stretches. Simpson isn't a shooter at this stage of his development but Brooks and DeJulius certainly are. No problem playing them together. All three pg's of the future are exciting offensive players. I wouldn't want to defend the trio in a John Beilein offense. It will be entertaining basketball.

I apologize, I construed this to imply you were talking about wings. You followed this up with mentioning Vogrich, Douglass, Donnal, McLimans amongst others
