Braylon Edwards drops the ball again

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Expected nothing less from good ol Braylon.

His take on John O'Korn.

Nothing like current players being bashed by guys who are supposed to have their backs. Khalid Hill took issue with it.

Wtf approved his scholarship and transfer????????

I don't act cool, I am cool. Second, how many people do you imagine would be in Michigan Stadium on a game day if only grads were allowed to attend? 50k? Maybe against OSU. If the weather was perfect. Like it or not, Michigan is sustained in large part by people who have never attended a class there. I'm sure you would prefer that kids from Plymouth and Livonia root for another team if they're not able to get into Michigan. Third, FU for making me defend WD.

Dude you just proved his point. He's not wrong about how poisonous this place becomes after a loss, and even, sometimes, after an ugly win. Most times after Michigan loses I avoid the blog for a couple days. It's healthier.

By the same token, knowing the fanbase always flips after a loss, he goes and starts a thread that's pretty much the equivalent of throwing matches on gasoline. Braylon threads are instant tirefires in any circumstance. A Braylon thread after a bad loss? What did he think was going to happen?

Better idea is to not give Braylon the attention he craves, and let Braylon be Braylon all by his lonesome. You'd think after ten years we'd have figured this out.

Recently this blog has been incredibly negative. It is sometimes hard to read a bunch of UM fans bashing each other and the team. WD comes on here and people constantly trash everything he writes. He takes time out of his day and writes informative posts. If you don't want to see the latest UM gear than don't click on the link. I truthfully agree with most of the things he writes and even if I don't it is interesting to see what other respectful people think. More people on here need to have some class. On a side note I love morning games. There is nothing better than waking up to UM football at 9am. Days I have to wait until 4pm are always hard. I can also see why night games would be beneficial for recruits on the west coast. Not many high school kids are up at 9am in the morning.

I don't care for Braylon's tweet.   He's not talking about a paid professional athlete, but rather a college kid doing the best he can for Edward's alma mater.

Bashing a 22 year old kid is not cool. Braylon wasn't perfect in college. He dropped a screen pass against OSU.... why is he throwing stones? I wish O'Korn was playing better, and he is working his butt off to make it happen. I am hoping he can play his best game on Saturday. I will support him 100%.

worth a damn, and the receivers have difficulty getting separation consistently, then most any QB is going to look pretty lousy.

Our defense is very good, but when paired with an offense that tends to wilt against good teams, it's not good enough to win.

Initially I thought Harbaugh and staff would be capable of developing game plans that could at least occasionally get us to victory against teams who outmatched us in talent or experience. Hasn't happened yet. We're left each time whining about the officiating.

Until we can run the ball with authority in all situations, this situation will persist.

Aside from that, BE's comment is a low-class public cheap shot at a Michigan player who's doing the best he can.

because I'm a fan and that's what we do. Further, I'm a Browns fan, and past that, his jersey's hanging way in the back of my closet. He flat out sucked as a pro, full stop. One in a long, long line of Browns busts, but he blamed fans for hating him because he was a Michigan attendee because his ego couldn't handle that no one liked him because he couldn't catch. Fuck him, he's terrible and shouldn't criticize JOK.

He’s just a pissed fan like the rest of us. Except it’s more personal to him. He played there. It was a harsh comment made out of frustration. A frustration all of us feel. A feeling that Harbaugh is not an elite coach and his coaching techniques and motivation tactics simply don’t work when playing teams with equal talent.

I agree, and indeed, sometimes people wonder why sometimes I ponder simply stopping the whole mod thing altogether just for a while, even if only to see what might happen. It gets rather difficult to stomach after a while, especially when people insist on being an asshole to the point where now you need to do something you don't want to do.

BUT.....I digress....

The rancor on this board also dismaying. In and around thoughtful posts, we have ‘contributors’ maligning well-meaning coaches, players, and whole units with terms like ‘trash’ and ‘hot garbage.’ The lack of humanity is driving me away.

He doesn’t want to throw or make a decision to throw the ball. Night as well run the wildcat now- Higdon and Evans and mcdoom run the wishbone. O’Korn has no business being on the field anymore. He’s lost.
