Also, we had a 4th and 1 that I thought we should have went for it.
Also, this is one of the shittiest games I've ever seen ref'd at home.
Fuck you refs.

OSU has also had games like this. I remember them struggling against UCF and UAB in a season when they went undefeated. My biggest concern is the QB situation. Speight looks absolutely broken and the other guys can't play otherwise they would have gotten a shot by now. It's year three of the Harbaugh era and we are still stuck with an average three star Borges QB at the helm.

you make some of the dumbest comments on this board. should change your name to chicken little. you are worried about a game 2 months from now, like nothing will change. sorry they didnt blow out cincy for you today so you could feel better about yourself.

Yeah, he really shoots his mouth off in a rapid-fire, "ready, aim, shoot" kind of way.

fan of Dreno's play calling today.
Should have used a lot more outside runs. Should have forced UC to stop them. UC D sold out to stop inside runs.

Apparently, Drevno's a pretty good offensive line coach.
But I don't see much to be excited about with him as a play-caller.
So get his ass out of the booth, down on the field with his interior linemen, and let someone who knows what they're doing call plays.

Stop with the "saving things for later in the season". We said that all last year with Jabrill and that turned out to be wrong. We don't save anything for later on in the season unless its a small little wrinkle given what the opponent does on defense

Lots to improve upon.
Congrats 23 and 24 pic sixes. bravo

Hopefully this means that Ben St. Juste (#25) is line for a pick 6 next week.

Coaching was interesting, but it's hard to question the defense except for the first drive in the second half. I'm not a genius, but the pressure seemed to be dialed back and just not so focused. We could go round and round on this play or that play, but coaching didn't cause a freshman to have a punt hit his ankle. If that play didn't happen the game would have been a blow out. My opinion, but up by 14 with no clouds on the horizon seemed to be a huge turning point.

We thought Drevno was an OL guru. While his hands were tied somewhat with the personnel he inherited, I was expecting him to get more out of the players than he does. Play calling leaves a lot to be desired also. I don't know what to thimk about Speight. Still too many high throws; now handoff problems.

He's always open, but never catches it. It's hard for a QB to fight the temptation to throw it to him

then that makes it even worse....if they are 6'0" or better and he STILL overthrows them, that's real trouble.

In the postgame interview, Speight attributed his high throws to not having his footwork under control.

Ya, this was odd because it seemed like TE crossing routes were open all game for at least 5 yards, and a lot more when a TE could outrun whoever was guarding them

Was a better coach for 3 quarters.
