I've been so wound up getting ready for this small child that will soon enter my abode that I am all out of sorts. I keep on forgetting to record games when I can't watch them. This is the least amount of basketball I've watched since Beilein started coaching here. Ughhhh I need to get better control of myself. I was out getting a stroller tonight and wife couldn't make up her mind. Got home after she finally came to a decision, checked the blog, saw Michigan won, and I couldn't decide if I was depressed or thrilled. Glad they won but I miss the thrill of watching it go down. Recording Sundays game now just in case!

Huge win. Maybe a bigger win then many of us realize. And as much as well love to get on Irvin's case. He came up huge tonight. I was very impressed with him tonight. With a night when DW was off his game guys like Mo and Irvin stepped up. Defense has also gotten better now we need to keep playing one game at a time. The NCAA's are in sight but we need to keep this rolling.

To be fair, we were getting absolutely worked by PSU at home and pulled one out of our asses. The Texas game we managed to hang on by a thread as well. I think we've generally been on the wrong end of some tight games, but I think 17-9 is reflective of this team as they've played for the whole season. I don't think the team we've seen the last 10 days is a 17-9 team, however.

Big performances from two guys that have been struggling - Irvin of course, and also Donnal, who played some of his best post defense in the second half.

Huge win.  Amazing how different the season looks now from where it was eight days ago.

  • Muppets.
  • Irvin back. Much needed for end of season.
  • Robinson improved defense. Allows us to give wings a breather.
  • Donnal playing D and a bit of offense. Helps out Wagner and Wilson.
  • Beating Wisconsin. Man, we needed that.
  • Solidified a spot in the NCAA's.
  • Moving up massively in the rankings over the next 3 weeks? We will win enough to be IN the tourney. However, if we can beat Minnesota, Northwestern, or BOTH, (along with Rutgers and Nebraska), we have a winning record in the Big 10 Conference. I can barely imagine it, but should we win out, we would pass up all but the top three teams, and could pass one of them if they tank.

I was one of the people you called out the other day for saying I thought it was time to move on from John Beilein. I'm so happy to be proven wrong. As my avatar suggests, I have always been a big fan of Beilein.* I'm excited to see where this season can go.

*If we can beat Minnesota and Rutgers, Beilein will have a chance to tie the all-time Michigan wins record next Saturday on senior day against Purdue. I hope he gets that chance.

Damn, I missed the game! But seeing the win pop up on my screen made enduring the Cub Scout meeting worth it! I wonder how much ad revenue this site is losing because the app is a hot pile of steaming excrement and won't load. Had to log into the site just to post. I miss the HD app so much. Is the ad revenue really worth less site traffic? What a turnaround this team has undergone. Great win!
