In 2016 after the Iowa loss, it was much more likely the conference would fist Michigan because of the risk of losing the big 10 championship and no team going to the cfp. This year it is probably the same situation, psu winning would take this off the table, should Michigan run the table till the game.

This is obviously getting a little ahead of things but remember the most important thing to the big 10 is maximizing expected value. So outcomes that make Michigan as the greatest EV are what we want.

The greatest player in NFL history is Tom Brady.

Aaron Rodgers however, is the most talented QB of all time.

Claiming Rodgers to be Top 5 makes me think you are an irrational hater, its not even that close to #2. People that don't even watch football will tune into to see him play because he is so obviously on another level.

If anything, Wilton proved Jim's theory. That guy was sure one nervous bird last season.

Or maybe that was just eating too many hits thanks to the Oline.

06/22/2018 - 11:09am No armies suffer any…

No armies suffer any casualties.

So turn to turn there isn't  any real continuity for lasting effects. Perhaps 'stars' could be destroyed and take turns(or by territory owned) to regenerate to have attacks have lasting effect. While defending would suffer casualties only to the point they are attacked. That would create a game more likely to end. This iteration, its just attrition of interest that would lead to a genuine conclusion.

Still its been an interesting distraction while I study for the CFA... Because basically everything is.

Coaches can't be present for drills. Given a coaches role in an athletes life I think it would be utterly cruel to prevent contact...

Hold  on now, let's say we have 2 1000 yards rushers. No hold everything else constant, including baseline line expectations for Shea.

He probably wins the the Heisman. Just for a minute think about what it would mean.

Almost certainly an undefeated offensive juggernaut with an top 3 defence. There would be a tremendous amount of knob slobbering heaped around all over by the media, and baring a Cam or RG3 or Lamar video game season He's going to be credited with being the final piece of the puzzle. Beat OSU in the Shoe to end the season and he can strike the pose.

But.. I'm only going to be over here hoping how thats how this all plays out, I don't even dare begin to imagine it happening. So I'm willing to allow for everyone approaching with guarded optimism.

Its hard initially but that is when you need to be the strictest. It works, but requires a concerted effort to have food and snacks prepared if you want to be successful. Get used to wine and miller lite though.

I was kinda shocked at how long they had set it for Iran.. Mind you Im pretty sure a push at zero goals is most likely..

I got a few wacky exact order groups at 5000+ like Costa rica brazil Switzerland Serbia

But my favourites are

Least goals Iran 900+

Last European team England 1000+

Argentina to win 900+

African team wins 6600+

06/08/2018 - 12:13pm Next turn basically is the…

Next turn basically is the only correct way. Rudimentary game theory, changed by knowing the the final turn. Working backwards from the last turn each player will know that the want to break the deal first to gain an advantage hence, next turn.

06/08/2018 - 12:02pm This has an interesting…

This has an interesting effect on the game theory.

Essentially without an known end turn, collusion (allies) work better together. Variations of tit for tat etc.

Now that the end turn is published everyone should understand that only stable nash equilibrium is to cheat.

However I'm sure you'll have thought about this, like pretty much every other econ grad out there on any team.

05/31/2018 - 2:11pm CR7 and Messi era is possibly the greatest ever

Zidane could end up the most successful footballer of all time. I'm not sure there's the talent coming for a real French renaissance but if he brings France a world cup title as manager he will be up there with Napoleon.

05/31/2018 - 11:43am There's 3 headbuts he is famous for..

He scored 2 headers in the World Cup final on home turf but I guess '98 might be too far back for the casuals.

Zizu is probably just tired of the Spanish press like every star on that team.

05/30/2018 - 5:46pm Big for the defense

I'm sure this team would have scored without him, at an equally efficient rate. Having him back is just huge for the locking down the danger wings.
Teske and Livers are both great for bigs, X on points and Charlie for the wings. How will teams score more than this squad?

Out sailing?

05/16/2018 - 8:34pm Definitely

O'Korn was suffering from PSTD no doubt. The other 2 fellas might have been in a similar mental state. My understanding is its hard to quarterback well when you're getting lit up frequently.
When you snap the ball and pull the Will Hagerup face every play... Probably not gonna go well

05/16/2018 - 4:11pm Shea is an upgrade

But if he can't make it more than a game into the B1G schedule it will be for the same reasons as last year...
'no blocking'

It didn't take a genius to see our qbs couldn't keep their eyes down field. Mind you having one coach for tackles and guards might help cover the B gap a bit better...

05/15/2018 - 1:49pm Take either side of 5.5y

And we can revisit this post before the site gets updated to see who won.

Wagering honour and glory only*

05/14/2018 - 3:03pm Eyes at the rim

He already looks waaaay stronger able then this time last year. Johnny B offense learning curve caveats of course but DAMN!
OrangeJulius
Poole Boy
Charlie
Iggy
Livers
How do you stop them..?

05/11/2018 - 8:44pm There youth is way better.

The thing abou DeRozan is that he works on a peice of his game every year to get better. However him and lowry revert to hero ball in the clutch, and the record in right games was actually really bad. Coupled with Casey being a great defensive teacher but poor in game manager meant the project reached mature and was time to exit.
The team will still be very competitive but 1 of the all star backcourt needs to be converted to something else of value.
Thats up to the Mesiah, and Jay Wright.

05/11/2018 - 8:36pm Or John O`Korn

Saying he was the most NFL ready QB ~in the draft.

05/08/2018 - 1:19pm Do graduates need releases?

It seems like as a 'Student' you go to the school with the 'Program' you want to take, and your you know, finished at the other school..
Maybe I am just overstating the student aspect of reasoning here.

05/05/2018 - 8:30am True

Its been 10 years and it was going through a gentrification process. I lived on 53 and Ingleside, but oeople were getting shot at Harold's Chicken with shocking regularity all the same.

05/04/2018 - 4:48pm Nobel Prizes

For real

05/04/2018 - 4:43pm Its been a while

But re undergrad culture,
UofC had 2k undergrads and 12k grad students. Total, so Ross is probably an overwhelming better experience for a young buck.
Also South Chi is no joke, north of 55th and west of Cottage Grove are no place to being hangin about.

05/03/2018 - 11:50am Well hopefully

This year our three best QBs will all be better than last years. Thats got to be worth a couple W's, more if we dont even have to find out about how good QB3 really is..

05/02/2018 - 1:10pm The timelines are intertwined

This isn't some sunk cost equation. Realising the line was going to be bad at something, took giving them enough time to get good at it. Once recognized to be consistently unsuccessful it was basically abandoned but the cost was already incurred.
I'm not sure how soon he would have had to realize before shutting it down wasn't costly.

04/30/2018 - 12:17pm Too much heart

04/25/2018 - 5:15pm This take is HOT

Trent Richardson played behind the bama line.
Barkley will not bust.. But
Taking him 1 seems like a net negative VAR in taking whatever QB at 4.

Chubb at 4, maybe.
Qb1 and then Barkley or if already taken either trade out(Bills if QB3 suits them) or take Nelson (just drafted QB1 right!?! )

It will be interesting this year to see how soon qb5&6 get drafted and what the order will be.

04/20/2018 - 10:17am One of the greatest plays of all time

SQUANDERED!

So disappointing to look back at. I care less about the loss nowadays to having missed out on a historic play.

04/19/2018 - 6:06pm I know you're right..

Would they NOT rank RJ if he played for Orangeville prep?

I'm just annoyed, and Canadian. Jamal Murray was the 12 graded player in 2015 but wasn't an ESPN 100. Whatever.

04/19/2018 - 1:58pm Do they Rank RJ Barrett ?!?!

Cause this seems stupid.

Both are Canadian and played almost exclusively US competition for multiple years.

Hacks

THey have even PLAYED EACH OTHER..  rediculous

04/19/2018 - 11:10am I am uneasy about this.

Handing out details about some one in a contentious position to people of the internet doesn't typically go well...

04/19/2018 - 12:17am He called guys out?

Or hasn't seen them..

04/16/2018 - 2:50pm Yes^

This!!
But he needs to buckle down and work his tail off on his body and his ball skills. I'm probably higher than anyone on Livers, because I was paying attention in before February.
I think hes more Like GRIII and D

04/14/2018 - 2:12pm You are right

But think theres 10 teams that are and only 2 ever get to the game. Even if they were better next year it would still be unlikely they make again.

Im with ya though, I was really holding out hope he was going to say Fuck it lets have another go. Damn it Dirk you should have just retired!

04/14/2018 - 11:56am You might have noticed

But most of the three's he was taking down the stretch were from NBA range. He was already working on it, and I suspect he will continue to throughout his career. That's why he will be a special player there too.
