Well that's one hell of a post. There are a million ways they make this legitimate but it's still funny and it's not like it doesn't happen everywhere. I remember when I was in school every top football and basketball player drove the same Ford Explorer and they were not shy about it. Had social media been around back then I'm sure it would've made for just as interesting a post. Bama just seems to allow their players the freedom to select more optional features and equipment.

Like you guys didnt drive 80K cars around when you were in school?

LOSERS!

I mean it's pretty clear to me that Alabama recruits ALL must come from very wealthy families right?  Maybe that's their recruiting profile - be good at football AND be independently wealthy too.

It's so obvious.

to look after your car?

When my wife was in grad school, a couple paid her money to look after her kids.  I don't see anything different here that people are paying responsible college kids to look after their cars.

Get a brane morans!

even if caught, you all still lived and experienced the wins, championships and glory. Not only is that impossible to erase but if you're winning it's actually harder to accuse AND convict you of cheating. At worse you get a year of no bowl game and an arbitrary number reduced by a few dozen. You didn't lose those vacated games but never played them so why does it matter?! There is only upside to paying for the best players. Paying kids and letting them run amuck are not things that have to go together. Saban takes zero shit and buys the best. After winning so much many players don't need bought.

Bama is as clean as it gets, its not like they have a history(the 90s) of giving players stuff. In Bama's defense, they are just complying with SEC rules and policies.

NCAA loves $$$$.  NCAA cares not for the well-being of the student-athletes, much less the "student" part of that, as long as the NCAA is making $$$$.

Bama is making the NCAA a ton of $$$$.

University of South Alabama is gonna get smacked to Bolivia by the NCAA for these obvious infractions.

College football needs to be split in two.

First group is a group that wants to live by the current rules and volutarily gives the governing body subpeona type rights.  If the governing body asks for info and you don't comply - you're out.

Second group is a group with the ability to openly pay players.
