I cayenne not stand this bad news today; I really serrano cry. It's already a gray, chile day out, and now this. If you tobasco me, he should have stayed. :-(
Good luck, Jabrill. Make $1 billion, save most of it, and stay out of trouble. Michigan's always got your back...
January 10th, 2017 at 3:09 PM ^
Perhaps a little overboard with the pepper there. I sneezed midway through your post.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:13 PM ^
A little too much, you think? You are poblano correct...

In a perfect world, Jabrill gets drafter by the Panthers, becomes a feared head-hunting safety, and acquires the only appropriate nickname: The Carolina Reaper...

You don't want to purposely ignore him or disacknowledge his accomplishments. I hate it when fans treat players like they aren't there just because they cayenne. Datil only make things worse.
I guess what I'm saying is ... don't ghost Peppers.
January 10th, 2017 at 5:05 PM ^
I kept waiting for a pun using the Guatemalan Insanity Pepper, but ended up disappointed.
Much like when I read his announcement. I was hoping against hope he'd decide to come back, but ... not to be.
Good Luck, Jabrill. I'll always remember the two-point conversion in East Lansing. That was just so much fun to watch.

As he should, get paid young man.
January 10th, 2017 at 2:58 PM ^
As science is starting to discover; the human body can only take so many football hits. Better make the most of them. Good luck Jabrill.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:03 PM ^
Both science and common sense have known this for quite some time. Science continues to validate this further and in greater forcing the NFL and NCAA to acknowledge these realities.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:12 PM ^
BREAKING: Science finds there are effects from being hit by 1000 pounds of force repeatedly.

You were a joy to watch young man. Best of luck to you at the next level.

Bummer. Not unexpected but I held out a slim hope that he would return since he hadn't made an announcement yet. Best of luck to him!
January 10th, 2017 at 2:58 PM ^
No, it is not a bummer.

Humanism > Football fandom
By a wide enough of a margin that I don't feel mixed emotions.
January 10th, 2017 at 4:04 PM ^
he deleted his comment? Didn't know you could do that.
January 10th, 2017 at 2:57 PM ^
I feel like his career here was very incomplete. But I wish him all the luck, he will be a future all pro.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:08 PM ^
Agreed. A freak athlete without a position.
Best of luck in the NFL, Jabrill.
January 10th, 2017 at 2:58 PM ^
Best of luck, and thanks for what you did for Michigan football
January 10th, 2017 at 2:59 PM ^
Sad, but he deserves it. Hoping he does great in the NFL.

The Cleveland Browns select Julius Peppers - Michigan
Straight up trade: Hamilton for Peppers. Make it happen Sashi!!!!!
January 10th, 2017 at 3:03 PM ^
I don't think Julius Peppers is draft eligible.
Also, the Packers might have a problem with the Browns trying to trade him, since he still has 1 year remaining on his contract with them.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:04 PM ^
Julius?
January 10th, 2017 at 3:04 PM ^
I was actually thinking about this last night and I had a vision of Jabrill in a Bills uniform. As a non-Browns fan, I would be happy if he ended up anywhere other than Cleveland or Jacksonville - no offense to the Browns fans on here, but as a Lions fan, I think we understand each other.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:12 PM ^
Are you from Cleveland?

Congratulations and thank you! When it comes to Jabrill I completely disregard statistics, it is his passion and dedication to the program that make him such a great young man to root for.
My sincere hope is for Jabrill to be drafted by a team where his skillset can be best used and the talent (staff and players) surrounding allow him to be successful.
January 10th, 2017 at 2:59 PM ^
Best of luck and hoping for a great pro career.

Good luck to him. His career seemed to go by so fast.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:02 PM ^
Bummer for us, but great for him. Thanks for everything, Jabrill, and good luck!
January 10th, 2017 at 3:02 PM ^
I can't fault anyone for taking that much money, but it's a shame that we only got to see him play for 2 years at Michigan.
January 10th, 2017 at 3:02 PM ^
Go make the millions you are certainly worth & thank you for all you gave to the Maize & Blue!
